This wallet has a nice feature where when copying wallets it generates different ones one at a time as I have seen in coinbase wallet. In coinbase, once the funds are received, the wallet is changed, but here there is no need to receive funds, every time a new wallet is available.
But I have faced problem few times while creating this wallet where while loading the wallet it says wallet crash and stop loading. After many tries the quality has been successfully created. What could be causing this problem?

I expect Ginger Wallet team would have hard time giving assistance if you don't include information such as, 1. Your OS (operating system). 2. Which Ginger Wallet file you download and install (since there are 2 files for Mac OS or Linux user). 3. Relevant part of Logs.txt generated by Ginger Wallet. I don't know about Mac and Windows, but on Linux it's located on "/home/YOUR_USERNAME/.gingerwallet/client/Logs.txt".

Just dropping by to make a few points: - I liked the fact that the wallet can connect to a full node (as it was in Wasabi) and that we don't have to depend on someone else's server. For me, who has a full node, this makes a huge difference.
- It's the first single-sig wallet I've seen that has a two-factor authenticator. I haven't tested the feature yet, but I'd love to try it when I sign transactions! This is very important for security.
- I went to the website and GitHub, but I couldn't find the option to download the project's pub key so I could verify the installer's signature. Could someone show me where I can find it?
Gingerwallet really has something different about it and I'll definitely recommend it! Ginger offers two full node-related features. The first allows Ginger to run a full node in the background (accessible via Settings/Bitcoin => Run Knots on startup), and the second involves setting up a Bitcoin P2P Endpoint. Both features enhance privacy and significantly improve synchronization speed. While they reduce reliance on the server, Ginger is not entirely server-independent. Essential blockchain data, including block filters, estimates, and CoinJoin coordination services, is still provided by the backend. It’s important to emphasize that Ginger is a non-custodial wallet. This means you can always recover your funds using your recovery words in Electrum, Wasabi, or any BIP39-compatible wallet. Even if Ginger were to cease operations, your funds remain under your control. Make sure to securely store your recovery words and verify them, if needed, using the Recovery Words Verifier in Wallet Settings/Tools. The 2FA feature protects all your wallets by requiring you to enter it whenever starting Ginger. If you’ve set a passphrase, you’ll need to enter it before sending transactions, but 2FA is not required at that stage. This feature provides more than just 2FA—it also encrypts all wallet files on your device. For further details, visit our FAQ section: https://gingerwallet.io/#help. Our PGP fingerprint can be found on the website near the download section: https://gingerwallet.io/index.html#download. Additionally, I’ll add it to the repository under PGP.txt for easier access. Thanks for suggesting this improvement! Feel free to reach out with any additional questions!

Thanks for the excellent feedback. So if I have my bitcoin core node running (or bitcoind) and open the Ginderwallet, it will connect directly to my full node without needing any prior configuration? One more thing, on my Windows I had installed Wasabi and had created test wallets there. When I installed the Ginderwallet, it automatically loaded the wallets I had in Wasabi (I wasn't surprised, since Ginder is a fork). However, I no longer need these wallet files. I didn't find the option to delete them in the application. I deleted the Wasabi and Ginderwallet wallet folders, but the wallets were loaded again. What am I doing wrong?

Any Wallet that is not mobile phone friendly will not have much users because not everyone has computer to use many people don't to move with laptop. So I recommend GingerWallet.io company to provide Android version in mobile phones, iPhone, iOS devices for more users. I am not making any comparison but just an example, Electrum Wallet is the most use bitcoin wallet in the wallet if I am not mistaken and probably because it works in different devices. And the way I look at the wallet, it links to conjoin and wasabi because I saw conjoin at the top of the wallet and wasabi at the bottom.
Not really, an actual crypto user will prefer the desktop for holding their assets especially a cold storage so it's not a fact that any wallet that is available only for desktop will not be popular. And it will be a pain in the ass to use wallets in small screen also their hardware resources are limited and can't able to handle the node like feature. Technically it's possible to create on mobile platforms but no one is gonna use that wallet.

Mobile phones has only a limited storage capacity that can nodes fully syncing and also the processing power that for sure didn't enough for the node requirements to run. So, this request that has in mobile phone is impossible to happen. Desktop is way safer than mobile, plus factor the non-custodial and open source in Ginger wallet.

In the frequently asked questions (FAQ) section this question is addressed: IS THERE AN ANDROID/IOS VERSION?
No. Ginger’s features, like coinjoin, require considerable computational power, which are currently not replicable on a smartphone. Agree, plus the target audience for this wallet prefers to use the desktop version. So devs have no reason to spend their efforts on creating versions that are currently not viable, but on what is working.

Honestly I also prefer to keep my assets on desktop for privacy and security reasons. And Ginger as a non-custodial wallet certainly requires a lot of computing power but that's what makes them much more secure with higher privacy. I personally don't mind downloading another wallet on my phone because I only do a few transactions or trades. My main wallet is on desktop and I think Ginger wallet will be my favorite wallet. By the way after everything is done my Ginger wallet is stuck and says "7 seconds remaining" but it's been over 30 minutes. Is my desktop not compatible or do I need to reopen my ginger wallet?

By the way after everything is done my Ginger wallet is stuck and says "7 seconds remaining" but it's been over 30 minutes. Is my desktop not compatible or do I need to reopen my ginger wallet? It happened for me around 80% and I toggled TOR disabled and then enabled it again which worked for me so if the problem still persists for a while then I suggest you to try what I did. Closing and opening again might start the syncing from the beginning so just be patient until the sync complete. Also please chmake sure your internet connection is fine. You can find TOR settings under Settings => General => Network Anonymization

I didn't find the option to delete them in the application. I deleted the Wasabi and Ginderwallet wallet folders, but the wallets were loaded again. What am I doing wrong? Full node integration possibilities: - Ginger will automatically detect and use a full node if it's already running on the same computer. - To connect to a full node on a remote computer, you can specify its local network IP address or Tor onion service in the Ginger Settings tab. - If you’re not running a full node yet, Ginger includes the required bitcoind binaries, allowing you to start Bitcoin Knots alongside Ginger with a single click in the Settings tab (Run Bitcoin Knots on startup). How to remove all wallets? - First make sure you have all the recovery words you passphrase and make sure they are correct. For that you can use the the tool in the settings "Verify recovery words". If you delete the wallets and you don't know your recovery words, you will loose control over your bitcoins! - Start Ginger and type data into the search bar, select Data Folder, it will open it in the file manager. You can do this in Wasabi and Ginger as well. Make sure to keep these file managers open, so you will know where to look for the files. - Stop Ginger and Wasabi, make sure they are not running, not even in the background. If they are running they will write back the files when you close them. So before deleting the files, close the clients (Ginger and Wasabi). - Delete the files you want. The wallet folder contains the wallets - the rest is synchronization data from the blockchain and configuration. I hope I’ve answered your question. If there’s anything else I can help you with, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

If you turn off Tor, you are loosing network level privacy. I would suggest trying to debug why Tor is not working on your system. Please check your logs or open and issue in our repository do developers will help you investigate.

You can import all your wallets under Ginger. Multiple wallets are supported. You can add them by using the add wallet function.

You can import all your wallets under Ginger. Multiple wallets are supported. You can add them by using the add wallet function. I think he refers addresses as wallets, so he wants to reuse an address that has been already used to receive funds. But I guess the main motto of the Ginger wallet is to never use a bitcoin address more than once that has been mentioned in FAQ too. Ginger has a user interface which discourages address reuse by removing from the GUI addresses which have received a coin. But if he want to find the addresses that's created but yet to receive funds then he can find them under Receive => Addresses Awaiting Payment which give list of all addresses along with recipients tag.

I just finished reading your issue on GitHub and even though I've never experienced such a thing, based on the content of its stack trace, I think you're trying to run two similar [ish] wallets at the same time [Ginger and Wasabi]. - You might also want to check if they're active in the background and shut them properly before trying to open Ginger wallet again.

@GingerWallet You may want to fix the link for the signature of the Ubuntu/Debian download file! The link target on https://gingerwallet.io/index.html#download for the Ubuntu/Debian signature is currently hhttps://github.com/GingerPrivacy/GingerWallet/releases/download/v2.0.15/Ginger-2.0.15.deb.asc which has an ' h' too much at the front of the link. See here for a screenshot (doesn't show my mouse cursor but the signature link is colored differently when the mouse hovers over it):
