Why do we get more sympathy and assistant during crisis?

Like them say, live chicken  is #6k but KFC chicken is #15k. People value the death than the living. People only show concern when bad things happen to you,  when you are alive, no one cares, but if you die, they will travel far and near to honor you. In some families, they only assist when police arrest you, you will see them selling property just to get you out of that situation,  but If you seek for help, they will never help you. Some of our friends only visit us when they heard you are sick, or in trouble.  It's really sad to know that no one cares you have to work harder everyday for yourself,  but life shouldn't be like that, we need each other to grow, do not wait till bad things happen to someone before we can help, let's join voice to preach against such unjust attitude in our communities.

life isn't easy for anyone. An average person you think isn't reaching out to you might be passing through issues that's tougher than what you're likely going through but might just decide to keep things to himself and try sorting himself out without complaining too much. Some how, because of the era we're in where social media gives us a glimpse of what's going on with others through what they post on thier status, we tend to assume some of them are doing too well when in reality it's not so.

I'm not disputing the fact that some people find it deficult to help those that are struggling to rise untill things becomes extremely deficult for them or they've fallen ill and they act as though that's the moment that they so much care about them and in this context, it's very bad of anyone that's of that nature. But what's expected of every one is to cut off every form of entitlement mentality that makes you feel that others must always help you. If you've matured enough to know that in this life, it's actually a world of all man to himself, it will help you to take your life more seriously.

People are very selfish in this our generation, some might not even show up for you even when you're arrested or imprisoned. It's only when you've lost yourife and it's time for burial that they will show up.  And you know that at that moment you've gone and gone for good and whatever they're doing doesn't make any sense and that's the singular reason why you've got to fight your battle and know that it's yours and yours alone to fight.

E get misconception wey people de get say if dem family and friends no visit dem physically or dem no give dem money, dat e mean say dem no care for dem. Country hard and everybody de occupied with wetin de put food on dem table, if you no complain, your loved ones go assume say you de ok and dem go worry about oda things. Aldo e de important to put calls across to loved ones once in a while, I believe say with dat dem go know say you care for dem, e no de necessary say you must visit dem physically everytime to show dem love.

Na in times of needs na im e de necessary to visit your loved ones and show dem love and support in your own capacity. So I agree say na in times of trouble people de show love pass because di person or people in need no de capable to care for themselves. Na during the times of our forefathers wey dem de live in communities you must to see your loved ones everyday but for dis our generation money matter don make people to Waka far to find a better living. na the reason to think family first when you have money, try establish your family to be independent, so that tomorrow when you are not there  they will be able to care themselves without waiting for anyone to help them. when someone is alive it seems okay to others they don't care if you're doing good or bad, all they know is that you're alive whatever you're battling doesn't concerne them.
