Okay, let's give it to the current administration that they're able to take down these POGOs but they are hiding something that somewhere in Cavite, there's still one big politician-backed POGO that still operates in an island there. So, what the government did is just took down a competitor of the other.

I believe so, they just pointed those competitors and established their own, the good catch here is they control the law so they can simply hide those extablishements that still doing the same business, though just for the sake of giving them that compliment as those text promotions are now been limited to none after the president declares his position against illegal POGOs.

We can’t discount that possibility, but they wouldn’t be called POGOs anymore--they’d just be a bunch of illegal gambling operators. Doesn't matter how many prohibitions and regulations authorities create and enforce, illegal gambling will continue existing. If not physically, it will be virtually.

The point is that illegal gambling houses don't force anyone playing there. People gamble because they want. If governments want to fight gambling disfunctional adoption by its citizens, they have to invest in education instead of prohibitions. Enlight people about the dangers and consequences of gambling, and if these are smart people, they won't maintain their frequency in gambling houses like before.

It's showing the position of the government but not exactly how it will be, as we all know that even there's already a complete ban there's always a way for those operators to continue doing business as they can just hide and facilitate by corrupting enforcers and provides them offers that they can't resist,  if there's a huge amount of money involved there's always a chance that this business will continue,  it's impossible to completely ban it unless the government will take down all the corrupt officials which is too hard for sure..

Just want to update you regarding POGO's in our country, Pogo ‘kingpin’ arrested in Laguna – PAOCC.

The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) said its agents arrested Lin Xunhan at a subdivision in Biñan City on Thursday, October 10. In a report, the Paocc said Lin used the identity and passport of an individual named Lyu Dong and operated under aliases “Bogo,” “Boga,” “Xiao Long,” “Apao,” “Pahao,” and “Hao Hao.”

The Paocc report also noted that Lin arrived in the Philippines in 2016 and has set up alleged scam farms in Ilocos Region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Cebu, and Metro Manila.

She could be part of the sleeper cell, so in times that there could be war between the Philippines and China, all those sleeper cells are going to be activated and her being in power as major can do such damage. Or if she can get to the top, government officials or in the police or military, and uses his influence and money, then China might win in the war.

Anyway, it's welcoming news that that authorities has caught the mastermind of the person behind this POGO, and maybe they can link her to the that of Alice Guo and see the connection. And yes, justice should be served, fast and swift before deporting him back to China and will not allow him to comeback to the Philippines.

The bill is still on the propose list and not even in the second reading and foe any bill to pass into law then it must scale through the second reading and what is the second reading of a bill. It is the time whereby by all the senators in the National House of Assembly would take a copy of the propose bill and go and study it and if possible make some corrections and when they all come back again then they discussed on the bill and if the opposition is high then it will be cancelled and that is the time lobby took place in the house. Yes that's very possible,  trying to ruined someone's image to create good impressions for his government,  though it might ruined the trust of those loyalists and might take effect to the country,  the intentions is pretty good in terms of eliminating the activities of those hubs inside the country,  if that's sole intention got a good result then it will helps a lot to those who already addicted so far we don't receive any invites or any promotions unlike when pogos are still not being banned where you will receive lots of messages promoting different online gambling services.

I don't know, but maybe they will just rename it and then the whole process starts all over again. We have seen it before, even during the time of Estrada or Arroyo if I'm not mistaken, they try to stop illegal gambling, but they didn't, the worst is that those who have been tagged as gambling lords started to run for mayor and governor and won and so after many years, there could still be some illegal gambling den somewhere in the province wherein the supposedly elected officials are in control.

It should not be called a tax as they have banned it. But they can take tax from their country people in this case it must be called as tax. Though they banned yet it should be called as tax and the amount of tax is higher than any other things.

Indeed, they can easily do that with the protection of those corrupt officials, just facilatating outside the radar it's just easy as there are corrupt people behind the government, those big pogos that been mark as competitor will be chase from time to time but those who had the protection will quitely continue their operation and will just enjoy the amount of money that they can earn from the business.
