Customs authorities in European sea terminals use a variety of methods to select containers for inspection, including risk-based targeting and random selection.
While it’s notorious that just a small percentage of containers are selected for further inspection, this does not represent a reliable estimate of the probability that your container will be one of them. In fact, the probability, today, is worryingly higher. This could impact your business negatively and potentially also deprive it of fundamental resources and funds.
