Phoenix wallet just released version 2.8.2

This update  fixes some annoying bugs, one of them tightening how LNURL-pay success messages get checked and anather correcting how amounts were being read from Bip-21 payment URIs.

Also it  adds a few  new languages, namely Italian, Japanese, Polish, Ukrainian on Android, and Korean on both Android and iOS.

We have seen many problems in the last couple of weeks with various services in the Lightning Network and L2 domain. Core Lightning has suggested that their users upgrade their software asap or take their nodes offline because of a vulnerability, the Liquid network was hacked and 4,000 liquid bitcoin tokens were stolen (most of it returned in the meantime), Boltz swap service was shut down and the website has been taken offline, etc.

I am glad to see that Phoenix Wallet isn't among the software found to have vulnerable code (for now at least). They haven't been very active on X recently, but in regards to what's been happening, that's a good thing.

Latest Phoenix Wallet release, namely 2.8.4.

Looks like it is worth to apply as it fixes several bugs which are relevant to the app crash. They also tightened up security, especially around accessibility features.
