If AirDrop does not require subscribers to share any private data, including their email, or they are forced to download and install a closed source application on their devices, then there is probably no risk involved in sharing. In most Airdrop campaigns, participants are required to complete some tasks, such as posting on social media platforms or joining Telegram groups. These are simple tasks that do not pose a risk either.
In addition to this, these campaigns must always be treated with caution because there are those who promote the Airdrop campaign while their goal is to collect the personal data of the participants for other suspicious purposes.
Let us not forget that there are no longer profitable airdrops as in past years, especially since all projects based on an airdrop campaign are often scams.
