I believe that there is a very high chance that the US regime is going to eliminate Trump and blame it on a foreign assassin. This way they can desperately try to remove the root cause while directing the blame to outside. I also doubt they actually start a war over this considering how weak the US military is.
It is scary how much of this prediction of mine came true.
(1) The US regime (deep state, the establishment, the corporation, or whatever you want to call it) tried to eliminate Trump yesterday
(2) Immediately after, they surfaced all kinds of false information trying to blame a "foreign agent" from being Chinese all the way to blaming Ukrainians
(3) Since the attempt failed the prediction part about war is irrelevant at this point.

This brings me back to my original question in the topic I linked: Is United States on the verge of a civil war?

As a non-American I'm making an observation from outside. All I see is growing polarization and radicalization. The first turning point was when Trump became president back in 2017 and the next one was when he lost the election in 2021 and then incited violence which manifested in form of the attack on Capitol Building on Jan 6, 2021.
The US regime has been trying to eliminate him ever since, mainly by trying to put him behind bars and failing. Now a physical elimination attempt has failed as well. This assassination attempt is also a manifestation of that radicalization of the population.

Now I see two possible scenarios moving forward:
1. Trump loses
In which case a much worse version of Jan 6 could be repeated. An unrest that could last longer with much larger number of casualties. Specially since many are already predicting his victory and we already have things like this circulating the social media, so these people would automatically assume cheating even without Trump inciting violence again.
This could be followed by Trump moving in the shadows and create some sort of "movement" that increases that radicalization and polarization of the US population that would grow like cancer and eventually come out as a civil war after some years.

2. Trump wins
In which case there will be unrest in the long run as he fails after a couple of years in office due to his crazy decisions (eg. Tariff War with China*) and specially because his radical buddies come back to the White House. The problem won't be his miserable failures, the problem will be the fact that he will blame "the establishment" for his failures which would radicalize and polarize the population even more, leading to possible future unrest.

* I've already explained why his trade/tariff war with China could destroy US economy in a couple of places but I'll try to open a new topic in Economy board for more discussions.

There are too many factors involved to accurately predict what will happen if Trump loses or wins.

Correct predictions are made because somebody 'guesses' right. Many others will make similar predictions and have similar correct or incorrect results.

Yea it's actually true that your prediction might come to pass and might not also comes to pass, but what I have observed in the past few years especially under joe Biden administration is that their is a growing unrest among the Americans, due to the fact that joe Biden is not doing better than Donald trump, and that has made the trump's fan to grow larger by the day, because they now  feels that joe Biden is less competent than Donald trump, and as such, it would have been Donald trump's that should be in that office, not Biden,  though their may be a violent rally if Donald trump's lose, but a civil war? I don't think so, it's hasn't gotten to that extent on my own opinion.

Though if you ask me who I prefer among them both, I would choose Donald trump over joe Biden because the world would be more peaceful under his  leadership, than what it is now, because I believe that under his leaderships, Americans will fuel less conflict around the world than what they are doing now under the leadership of joe Biden.

Of course for civil war to erupt, a lot needs to happen. But as I said the direction USA is headed is civil war and it started back in 2017. If or when it will happen is not something I can predict. I can only see the path and the steps that are being take in that direction, while all attempts to get out of that path is failing.

History suggest otherwise.
  • For starters the wars the US regime starts against the world is not necessarily changing with presidents. Different presidents would only change the size of the aggression and speed of the process. Trump, as a radical, would speed things up a lot.
  • Secondly Republicans have started more wars than the Democrats although as I said the US regime's aggression towards the rest of world does not depend on which party is in the Oval office.
  • Thirdly lets not forget that Trump is not alone, he has a bunch of radicals around him like Pompeo and Bolton who are warmongers who would push him into armed conflict once again. Last term his generals put a leash around their necks and managed to control these warmongers, but can this happen again? Look how many of them Trump fired during his presidency just because they didn't want to get into a war that US will definitely lose (https://www.amazon.com/Trump-His-Generals-Cost-Chaos/dp/0525522417)
  • Finally his aggression toward China would lead to a lot of economic hardship in USA and there is a high chance it would lead to armed conflict not just in East Asia but also in West Asia (oil related) which would create a lot more chaos that could end up turning into a World War.

The only thing that would start a war is if that project 2025 gets implemented by Trump. Every redneck and college campus would erupt when pornhub and all tranny tv shows go down (no pun intended)  Grin

Well, not all tranny tv shows. Some race car shows include car trannies in their shows. Grin

Yea, it's actually true, statistically you were spot on, but  am talking based on what I have seen from both of them in the four years they have both ruled, though it's quite true that Donald trump's isn't a saint either, but sincerely speaking, due to his unpredictable nature, their were less wars around the world when he was president of the united state of America than what's going on now.

And from my observation, this present joe Biden administration is a major player in fueling the conflicts going on, which I believe that Donald trump's wouldn't give his administration that kind of leverage to do what this present joe Biden administration is doing now, and that is why he has more haters than any other former American president that I know, though I might be wrong, but that's my opinion though.

Lastly, on the chances of both candidates, I think that Donald trump now have the upper hand on being re-elected after this past assassination attempt on him, and sincerely speaking it was a very stupid thing to do, because if the assassin had succeeded, I am quite sure that by now, their would be protest and unrest among locals of the united state which would be very difficult to contain.
