That is true. It can be misleading because no gambler or sports analysts are very sure with their predictions, that's why it is called a prediction only.
Now, the odds could actually tell which team or player could win the game but it also doesn't mean it is a sure shot. Even the x1.05 - x1.20 favorites could lose the game and I had my share of winning large amounts by betting against them.
The better way would be to do it ourselves when it comes to predicting games. That way even if we lose we won't blame anything or anyone but just us. However, the feeling that we will have when we win that game because of our analysis will be entirely different from just copying a prediction site. I can tell because I've done it so long and it's still the feeling of success when I won my own bets.

You are correct, ser. Plus like trading, those "references" could be changed to a strategy that's more accommodating to your own personality. Although in looking for a strategy is predicting sports, it's harder for me than finding a strategy for trading/investing. I tried day-trading, swing-trading, until I found what's the most accommodating and natural for my personality - Buy and HODL. If anyone could suggest a sports betting strategy for a Buy and HODLer, I would like to read it.

We can't say that no service or website provides good signals because some out there might be doing that, even if it's not done regularly if most of their predictions are right, they are doing it right, but we can say that most of such services, especially the paid ones, are created only to earn money and no experts are sitting and managing those services, spending a lot of time doing analysis and providing accurate signals, but those who create such groups are desperate and need money, and they know this can be a good business for them.

I don't see anything special in predictions platforms or website. It's not like they have a special skill to make predictions but because they are consistent and they are up to date about the current trend of the sport games, it is alwsys easy for them to see what to explore to win games in betting and when they win one or two, the options are tweak by betting platforms to win again as they do reduced the odd to discourage or increases the lower line.

I have one experience, there was one guy that was on trending on social media for some days and I decided to play with some money I know it ain't coming back. I do this sometimes twice in a month to observed my overall body system. You know I can't gamble with my health neither can I stake any with my health. It’s always better if you get as much information from all kinds of sources. I usually go check analysis of experts but also try to check what fans think. Prediction sites can also offer another perspective.

All these are just references but not the deciding factor.

I have seen a number of gamblers who don't make use of these prediction sites because they never trusted them to that extent for best results enough than what they can also give, there are times we will have to be confidence about what we know and what we want, this is not because we are against others, but we have conviction in what we are doing and can't take in other suggestions coming from others, we have to understand much of ourself and gambling in taking such decision.
