I find it absurd that many people keep bringing up the past to evaluate his present because he is not the only person who changed his opinion about bitcoin after spending time researching it. It is true that we still cannot confirm 100% that he is serious about crypto or not , but with him, we are getting more hopeful when compared to what the Biden administration is. I would bet on him over Biden in this election.

Serious or not, he's the only one who can answer that. But we all know we are still hopeful that he will honestly promote cryptocurrency particularly bitcoin not just only at this pre-election but most especially when he's already sitting in his position. With that, the crypto community has become more confident that bitcoin will be more exposed positively and a lot of people will now benefit the opportunities that bitcoin may bring, be it as an investment or a digital currency in the financial industry.

He shifts align with a border strategy to position the US as a leader in Emerging technologies.

Donald trump Is really drawing support from the crypto community , with some seeing this as some form of charade..
And others as a kind of light at the tunnel..
But whatever the case, we will keep showing our support for trump.

People are not smart but I don't blame them, they see so much hardship in the hand of Joe Biden and want to remove him from power by all means but if we trace back to how Biden won the US election using "Black lives matter", it's the same logic Trump is using Crypto and that gun shooting as next way to his office and you see this movement, not even the President can stop it because he seems to have gather the momentum of the people needed for this election.

As for we the crypto, I hope we don't cry later when he eventually enter his office, he is going to definitely but many wouldn't see it coming. I believe that not attacking Bitcoin and crypto is all we need from governments. When Donald Trump will take charge of the house then surely he won't do anything that may harm the crypto market and that's more than enough for most of us.

I agree that politicians always make promises to bring heaven on Earth by making peaceful and progressive moves but that's just for sake of saying. They actually are best known for their U-turns after winning the elections and that happens everytime.

Same way the current Nigerian president during his presidential campaign promised to unban crypto that the previous government banned in Nigeria, and ensure that it becomes legal in the country. And this he actually did but for a few months only.
Today, crypto is banned in Nigeria again, and this government seem to be worser than the previous government; as they have gone after centralized exchange, something the previous government didn't do.

I am not saying that Trump is lying or was lying when he made that promise to the bitcoin and cryptocurrency community, but then, we should learn not to trust politicians, crypto will always survive with or without them.

If you think the forum is the only placer that people are talking about Trump's alignment with crypto, you'd be surprised. All over CT, even solana meme tokens have been created for it. To top it up, there is an active prediction market on polymarket with Trump currently leading the market with 66% of people betting on Trump to win the elections.

The reason why everyone is talking about and is still skeptical about Trump's U-turn to crypto is because his government weren't any friendlier than this Biden administration. It was still all duct-tape like kind of regulations with no clarity. Whether he would make good on his crypto promises remains to be seen. Personally, I have my fingers crossed.

Yes , there is no guarantee that he will keep his word and he has actually changed his stance on bitcoin. But do you think that when we vote for him, we are giving ourselves a chance even though that chance is very slim ? Recently, Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris also confirmed that she will not attend and speak at the bitcoin conference. That shows that she may continue to pursue President Biden's cryptocurrency policy in the future if she is elected. Voting for anyone in the Democratic Party would be detrimental to crypto, I think none of us want that. Instead, by voting for Trump, we are creating our own opportunities even though they may be slim.

To be fair, I don't think all crypto investors will support Trump because people will need to consider other factors, not just crypto. But he was very smart to exploit this group of voters in the United States when the democratic party completely ignored it.

Definitely he'll get a massive vote from Bitcoin users, but it's not possible for all Bitcoin users to give their votes to trump due to various reasons. Trump needs more votes from voters across the country, relying solely on the votes of crypto voters will not guarantee that he will win and be elected. So I think he still has a lot of work to do and it's too early to believe that he will win. I also support him because I am a bitcoin investor, but I will not rule out the scenario that he will not be elected if his campaign team cannot convince the majority of voters in the US.

Trump's unexpected pro-crypto statement will certainly be good news for us, but things will only really work in our favor if he gets elected and keeps his promises. I mean we shouldn't be too excited and expect too much when everything is still unclear. We should only be optimistic and not subjective.
