Inspired this thread prompted me to create a new topic dedicated to predictions for pre-season matches and I've also seen a lot of people interested in betting on this pre-season match even though it's too risky and very difficult to predict the outcome.

I have a match schedule that I take from the online media and only pick from a few match on a popular team only.

If it is club friendlies, I do not take it serious because the matches might not go as planned. Many of the clubs will be resting their players at the time. But what that I notice is that the clubs will score goals very well during the time. Going for over 1.5 for like 2 matches or over 2.5 for a match is better.

In club friendlies usually the stronger team do not put in their best and they even end up getting beat up. During this time as they are resting their players, I also rest from any sports betting unless it is in less popular leagues that's still in season. Those ones give you some hope, some good winnings to look up to if it goes on your favour.

The motivation here is not so aggressive among players, hence, they are not putting their best foot forward. I would say, it is not advisable to bet on friendly matches. You may not get the performance you want from each team. This is understandable as there is no pressure for them to win. I would say, just sit back, watch and relax. Don't stress yourself betting on this type of match.

But what you can observe from these matches are - athletes per team, possible injury, their respective coaches, weaknesses/strengths of the team. That I believe will help you in assessing their potential performance in the actual game.  This will aid you in selecting the best odds to bet.

Actually, I'm not really interested in friendly matches because it's too risky to bet. But, sometimes I'm also curious and inside me I want that challenge because the matches are difficult to predict and rely entirely on luck. Apart from that, I only try betting with clubs that I know. There are lots of clubs. who are not very familiar and I don't really know what their condition is so I just enjoy the match.

Yes, I also just bet a little to see how lucky I am in these pre-season games and honestly just to have fun while waiting for the new season to start.

Mostly some of European league will starting the league on August and before that month indeed plenty of European clubs will do pre season matches mostly on July which mean this month and i have seen besides the schedules which OP share there are some of big clubs such as Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona and many more will playing for pre season matches and this is good opportunities for young players to showing their skill because the managers usually give young players more chances to play

Going for over 1.5 for like 2 matches or over 2.5 for a match is better.

A very good suggestion to choose to bet on Asian total is that the risk is smaller because in matches like this is usually to score over 1.5 is easier.

Not sure what you're saying after seeing your last post betting on a friendly game. If you feel it's very risky, the best option is not to try to bet.

In gambling, nothing is risk-free and everything is very risky.  But there's nothing wrong with betting small amounts to try luck

This matches looks interesting to bet on Both Teams To Score - Rangers vs Man United and Real Betis vs SV Austria Salzburg, I'm sure there will be no clean sheets in those 2 matches.

Right, its fully friendly match only with many teams still not play with their important players and most of teams give chance for young players get more minutes playing with pre season friendly match. Can't guarantee with put favorable for top teams because most of them playing with young players and tactician of manager want to promote their youth players to senior team get more minutes playing before the competition start and they will make some rotation later.

During pre season match and the competition still break out around one month later, its not bad try opportunity with pre season match although we can't accurate prediction which one team potential for winning the match because many top team not play with their regular players.
I don't sure its more excited watching or make prediction with pre season match because many fans not expected or don't know their favorite team pre season schedule matches.

The first match Manchester United played against Rosenborg  ideally was supposed to be a smooth and easy win for united in a major tournament but that didn't happen because it's just a friendly game and for most teams, it's most likely going to be more tactical play as against playing to win by all means that happens win tournament kicks off in full swing.

What's special about friendly matches, the intensity of the match is not high & there is also a lot of match fixing there. My predictions for friendly matches (based on your post):

AFC Wimbledon - Brentford, Brentford will win because now the match is underway and Brentford is leading by 3 goals.
Queens Park Rangers - Tottenham, Queens Park Rangers will lose.
Rangers - Manchester United, Would anyone doubt Manchester United in a friendly?
Rapid Vienna - Milan, Of course Milan will win.
Real Betis - SV Austria Salzburg, Real Betis will win because they are currently leading the match by 2 goals.

Do you like to spend your money to bet on friendly matches or do you even like to spend your time to find information about the friendly matches in order to place a bet?
Although I'm not into sports betting much but when it comes to friendly matches, I'll prefer to skip it because friendly match is just a match used by team to test (mostly secondary players or new strategy).
I do even think that most sport lovers only (non bettor) is interested to talk about friendly matches, maybe they will only check the final result then talk about it a bit.
However, if I have to place bet on friendly matches, I will not bet on 1x2 market and I will prefer to bet on over/under goals although the odds is usually low.

We already know that friendlies are just normal matches and the favorite team will field young players to see the prospects in the game while the main players will rest maybe play a little time but that usually won't change anything in the match.

In friendlies most only bet up to $10 in 2-3 games but that too I think can be easily guessed with both teams scoring or under/over.
On the other hand, I rarely watch friendlies because they are definitely not interesting to me, so I will wait until the league starts again in August.

Already know that the lineup is filled with unfamiliar names, meaning that it's their academy players that the coach is playing for a lot of playing time in friendly matches, so they will be a little different in the game, this is more testing the mentality of young players.

It is not good, and also very risky to gamble every time and at every opportunity. On friendly games especially just as you've mentioned, it will be wise to just watch them for the purpose of entertainment and not try to take the risk gambling because small teams can end up winning big teams and games can end up not going the way you predict.
This thread should be for the purpose of entertainment and not to give encouragements to people who would want to gamble during this preseason or friendly matches that they can loose to.

Friendly matches should be the hardest to predict because most teams do not play their best squad, they mostly test their new signings and new additions to the team. This is the reason I do not put my mind into betting friendly matches, rather I use it to gauge the preparedness of the teams because the pre-season matches gives idea of how they will perform.

On that note, Rangers vs Man Utd should be the match of the day that many people are looking forward to. I am seeing a draw in that match as they are still goalless in 32 minutes of play.

I think Man UTD look fresh in this game against Rangers with them leading is it too early to say they are back on track? Things are not as we expected in their first game against Rosenberg but this is another chapter and I believe they can use today's game to redeem themselves because is important to let the fans see what they are to expect next season not the awful display they had in their last game but let's see how many goals Manchester United will score and how many they will concede, never to forget that they can as well play out a draw.

even if pre season matches are harder to predict these kind of events have nice odds for underdog.
in some cases teams are using youth players or second team... with the proper update it's not impossible achieve nice wins.
Of course, such events should be managed just for pure pleasure: since there is no "competition" they don't have the same approach like " a big match"...
