No, that's not working. Probably GPU returning bad results.. Check your drivers.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Setup and started about an hour ago and I'm seeing a lot of this:
https://i.imgur.com/y8CsR7r.png
but no "yay"'s or "booo"s.
I'm working through slushpool but the worker still hasn't checked in there. I've double checked that I'm using the right username:
Code:
--userpass=myusername.worker1:pass
Am I doing something wrong?

I have also setup on slushpool as follow

 ./minerd -a sha256d --url=stratum+tcp://eu.stratum.slushpool.com:3333 --userpass= xxxxxxx:xxxxxxx
[2018-01-14 19:36:16] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://eu.stratum.slushpool.com:3333
[2018-01-14 19:36:16] Binding thread 3 to cpu 3
[2018-01-14 19:36:16] 4 miner threads started, using 'sha256d' algorithm.
[2018-01-14 19:36:16] Binding thread 0 to cpu 0
[2018-01-14 19:36:16] Binding thread 2 to cpu 2
[2018-01-14 19:36:16] Binding thread 1 to cpu 1
[2018-01-14 19:36:16] Stratum requested work restart
[2018-01-14 19:36:19] thread 3: 2097152 hashes, 914.60 khash/s
[2018-01-14 19:36:19] thread 2: 2097152 hashes, 841.66 khash/s
[2018-01-14 19:36:20] thread 0: 2097152 hashes, 788.55 khash/s
[2018-01-14 19:36:20] thread 1: 2097152 hashes, 765.26 khash/s

slushpool set the " alert limit " 5 Gh/s so they do not show worker state under this limit

Need a suggestion:

I have the below servers to mine [CPU only]

1. 4 processors Intel [dual core]
2. 8 processors Intel [quad core]
3. 8 processors Intel [quad core]
4. 8 processors Intel [quad core]
5. 8 processors Intel [quad core]

All the above processors are - Intel® Xeon® Platinum 8168 processor, featuring a base core frequency of 2.7 GHz and a maximum single-core turbo frequency of 3.7 GHz

I am currently mining for VRM in a pool & earning 1 VRM a day max & also the Hash rates on above CPUs vary time to time.

Please suggest if there are any better mining suggestions with the above set?

miner software - https://github.com/pooler/cpuminer

Thank you.

Alguien puede publicar un manual para minar, pero un manual para novato por favor, algo paso a paso y no para un nivel experto como ustedes

I am using:

minerd -a groestl -o stratum+tcp://grs.suprnova.cc:5544 -u x.x -p x

(where x is username.workername and password)

This throws up:
 stratum authentication failed.....

Any ideas?

Mining on GPU ok and trying to add cpu mining at the same time.

Hi guys, Noob here.  I am trying to mine NYC.  Followed instructions on pool site.  Created account, created worker.  Downloaded MinerD (PoolMiner 2.5.0).  Created the "RunMe.bat" file.  I copied this "minerd -a --scrypt -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://hobbyistpool.ddns.net:4342 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword" into the "runMe" file and changed weblogin, worker name and password.  When I run the file black screen comes up for millisecond and disapears.  Can't find any videos or instructions on how to fix this.  Please help?

1. don't bother mining scrypt. this is ASIC territory and the profitability is negative considering the electricity
2. add "pause" as last line in the batch file, so you can see the errors before it closes
