Investing 5k € into a speculative coin

I already own bitcoin and ethereum and want to invest a part of my portfolio in either RWA or MEME .

I want to hold exactly for 1 year and then sell (in Germany we don't pay taxes when selling after holding 1 year).

Which of these 4 coins has the best chances to perform well during next 12 months?

It's very hard to speculate the future of altcoin especially memecoin as they are too risky to give a word but however, when you want to invest I would only advise to invest some certain amount in memecoin otherwise you can still channel some of those money to bitcoin or ethereum maybe and use about 20 to 30 percent of that money to invest only in altcoin.

The reason is that if they lose value it could be very easy for you to accept the lost than vesting all the money into memecoin, it may drown anytime if you weren't careful of minding the kinds of altcoin you are holding because some of them mostly ends up as pumped and dump coin.

Why not just stick to Doge if you're going to choose a memecoin? I guess that wif and pepe have already established their markets and they'd be there even after a year or more. I am not telling you a financial advise because I am not a fan of meme coins but I'm happy when I see people earned from these meme coins whether they're a dog meme or a cat meme or even a frog. Why choose these memes instead of going with the established cryptocurrencies since your plan is to hold for a year or even probably longer?

This is just a speculative view on all this coins and no one can guess well which of them will perform well in the next 12 months. As for bitcoin and ethereum you’ve invested in long time ago, they stand to do well in the next 12 months no matter the circumstance they find themselves in. As for the other two you want to newly invested in, they’re are more speculative and their prices can by hyped base on what they receive from the general public or how the team perform to push the price high. They might perform better in the long term than the first two but you should also know that when they don’t, it might rigged you all of your money you’ve invested in them. Only put what you can afford to lose in them. They’re not a dependable coin like the other two you’ve initially invested in.

Exactly, meme are short time coins you can hold on to, most of them are not good for the long term and if you don’t take profit when it presents itself for you even within a short time, you could lose it all at some point if you plan to hold for long. And that's a fact in most of the meme coins, the established ones won't make that much gains anymore. But we don't know what will happen to them in the next coming months. It is very likely that many of them are going to be out of the market after the bull run. Those that have been established in the market already can be a good preference by him if he wants to hold them. While for those memecoins that we don't know, he can keep on making a research for it and this is what he's doing right now and I hope that he will have some realization that if he's going to hold it for a year, we might see likely the dump or the bear market or the peak was already gone for this bull run.

Look for a coin that you are personally convinced in because if anyone should advice you on a particular coin what happens when the coin did not turn out to be profitable in the future?


Will you take the blame and learn your lesson or you shift the blame to the person that suggests the coin to you, this is the reason why you are advice to do your own research before you take any decisions as long as investment is concerned.


But mind you you have to hold the memecoin for short term basis because memecoins have no long term features such as an existing ecosystem.

I hope you also know that meme coins are always moved by hype. If the hype of one particular meme coin dies down, then you won’t hear about it again. There is nothing serious that’s always  backing meme coins; that’s just the reason why we have to be very careful when investing in them, and I don’t really encourage people to put their money in them. Don’t be deceived by their current movement. Put your money in coins that you will have confidence in, coins in which you know nothing will happen to them, not like meme coins that pump just because of hype.

I voted for dogwifhat even though I'm torn between Pepe and dogwifhat. Ethereum recently got it's spot ETFs but is yet to perform (I expect it to perform later in the near future but since we're in the now, I'd be going with wif instead. Solana is currently one of the hottest crypto so that means some of its gains will trickle down to some of their ecosystem projects and wif could be at the center of it.

For Pendle, it only got popular after "points" system for drops become a thing. Now that there are few major points programs still active, there isn't much about it for now. Pendle is basically just a yield market. If there are no more yield or so few yields, it might only perform in the short term but long term, unless this changes.

Ondo, I haven't traded this token before but I have seen some big traders shilling it hard. I saw it at $0.22 when it initially launched but it has since traded higher. "1 Ondo to 1 condo" might still be a thing but I feel the $10B FDV is too high especially since the value proposition is low.

No one will know about the future and it is actually quite difficult to speculate when talking about meme coins like this because looking at how meme coins work we must be aware that in the end the pump and dump scheme is always a condition that ultimately becomes a choice that they always do so we cannot know what will happen to this meme coin because there could be a pump that we did not expect or indeed the coin will be dumped because the whales have no desire to profit from meme coins like this.

We must realize that in the end, coins like this will only be speculative coins that are like gambling in the hope that there will be a pump by the whales. Although sometimes there will be some people or influencers on behalf of the community but still we must realize that it is just a form of lure so that they can get sympathy from beginners who do not know how meme coins work like what and can take personal advantage of it.

Well sincerely speaking the narrative nowadays has drift to meme so while investing meme projects are more attractive and could give quicker return than any other investment, for long term then you should go for a coin or project more solid. Meme is only for quick profits since it's mostly hyped nowadays and it seems to be moving the market at many people has gained huge profits from Pepecoin and some other newly listed coin.

Good points right there! Analysis by yourself is always good, as you won't be sad or angry at anybody other than yourself (mostly ) if something doesn't go your way. It's a skill that keeps on giving even after mastering it.

I don't even think pendle is worth trying. The price is too high now, and it can retrace back anytime. Therefore, it will be a good price to buy once each Pendle touches $3. But for now, Pendle is not worth trying, and this is because it is always losing its TVL. People are now aware that doing pendle farming is not even worth it anymore.

Pepe and WIF will survive, and why not? WIF and Pepe are pretty much the same, like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. Those tokens will survive until all exchange sites delist them, which is impossible.

Pendle is good. It has a good product. But the hype depends on how many staking platforms used its Pendle farming system. That's still good for long-term hold, but the current price is not good to enter..

No problem. It must be the best way to buy a small portion of a speculative token, then go away. The best scenario is if your token may be going up like 100 times or even 1000 times.
