1xbit has bad reputation on this forum, but in many other places, you will see them advertising this gambling site. I have seen the gambling site advertised on Blockchair bitcoin explorer and Mycelium bitcoin wallet and some other places before. It would be good to tell your people also not to gamble nor bet on the gambling site. They spend money on advertisement but only to fake things to scam people. I have just gone through Trustpilot and I saw this bad accusation about the gambling site

This is a good warning, but it should not surprise you at the same time because it's the order of the day, bad companies/businesses are littered everywhere and reputable websites/platforms are even spreading their awareness. What I want you to know is that all those websites and platforms advertising them are basically for the money and not the integrity. Under the law too, they are exonerated because propagating what a third-party company is selling doesn't translate to endorsing them or having any affiliation with them whatsoever. For this, adverts should be considered at our own risk, we should always do the needed research about the company before dealing with them no matter how trusting the platform that advertised them to us.

I am seeing their names on the big esports organizations and they're sponsoring them. For which, they are gathering new users to their platform despite of what reputation they had left in here.

It’s surprising to me that I have been seeing their advertisements on different platforms, looking for new customers that they are going to scam. But I think before accepting to promote a site, an investigation should be done first to know how reputable the site is, and if there is anything fishy about the site, the offer should be rejected, or is it that most of the platforms advertising for them don’t really care about the casino reputation, they all care about the amount they will be paid, or is it that they don’t know that the casino site has a bad reputation on the forum?

We know how bad the reputation 1xbit has in Bitcointalk, but outside of the forum, many gamblers doesn't know the truth behind the website which is kind of unfortunate if you will ask me.

If only there are some people outside of this forum that will frankly say to other people that 1xbit is a scam website then it might affect their reputation outside as well. Those fake reviews are paid ones for sure, and at least that 26% 1-star reviews might make the gambler a bit hesitant to gamble on their website. Nevertheless, there are many gambling casinos here where we can gamble, and they're trusted ones as well. 1xbit is scamming their users, and using that money to make more advertisements on various websites.

1xbit hasn't been banned in here either, but regardless of every case that has been made against them on the reputation board, a handful of promiscuous users are still out there trying to outwit them.
Does 1xbit require a user's KYC verification before gambling? Cus if not, then I think it's a good reason why.

They don't need to get banned here because their reputation here is tarnished already - so tarnished that even though they rebrand, many will still notice it hence, giving it a bad reputation again. As for the KYC part, I don't think that there's a casino out there that will require their users to give personal information first before using their service. They aren't like Binance or other CEXes out there. If that's the case for 1xbit, many will be discourage to use the site anymore because many wants to stay as anonymous as they are.

Last year, I lost count of how many successful content creators on Facebook and TikTok promoted that casino. Even towards the beginning of this year, many of them were still promoting it, but since they are not promoting it that much again this time around, it seems their contract with them has expired. Even at some point, there was one big celebrity (a song writer and musician) in my country who promoted the casino so intensely last year and this year. The majority of movie downloading websites and other serious sites in my country are still promoting the casino to date. I remember there was a time that Boomplay also advertised them on their ads. 

Apparently, what I am saying is that I have seen that casino being promoted on many platforms in my country but decided not to discuss it here because it makes me feel like I am still giving their casino exposure. I only warned friends about the casino after learning about their scammy intentions and their bad reputation.

This is the reason why we should not rely entirely on review sites. Because many of them are just paid to give a positive reviews and it's not because they're a real gambler of the specific casino.

1xbit is a well known scam betting site on this forum, unfortunately many gamblers are still not aware of their reputation due to lack of information or should I say lazy to conduct a research. Well, don't wait to experience the worse on 1xbit (just like the gamblers who had a bad experienced there) before exerting an effort to find a legit casino.

In contrast, big and reliable casinos which we know are trustable do not advertise as much.
I wonder whether there will be a time these shady casinos won't be able to continue to promote themselves because even people in mainstream social media will realize how scammy they are.

And it seems like the company is growing as well. I already saw their ads on big tournaments and events from different sporting events and a lot of them are aired live giving them huge exposure all over the world.

A few months ago, I went on vacation. I was surprised that a lot of people here are using 1xbit including my cousin. He said that everything works fine. He gambles in small amounts though so he is obviously insignificant to 1xbit's scam issues.

We can't teach those big esports organizations on whom to accept and if they need to do their research first. Typically, these orgs are spending lots of money and they don't care who they are partnering with.

What matters to them is the contract that they'd get and as well as the monetary benefit on how much the contract agreed with.

Because that's how a business goes and it's just a sad truth in the esports orgs that they need to at least recover or make money from it even though they won't research who they are partnering with.

Well, what I know is that, as much as a reputable casino will always advise itself without doing heavy advertising, the reputable casino that wants to get lots of customers will definitely do advert, but I will have to agree with you that the volume at which I see a lot of scammy casinos and websites (including the 1x and 2x casinos) doing advertising on some large social media accounts or websites is not the same volume at which reputable platforms are doing adverts. Maybe they are doing such quick ads to catch lots of victims.

This site has been promoting on internet platforms at a high level and attracting people from all over the world.
It also has scam accusations which are unresolved and is still continuing to function as it is.
It's better to stay away from it as long as possible and focus only on good reputed sites.

currently, their target is no longer forum users. they will no longer get users from the forum, and their target is certainly not forum users and will focus more on events that involve many people.
Trust Pilot did a good thing by deleting fake reviews that do not match the situation. I did not check the social media of the casino. are they active on social media and running a review campaign that might be able to increase the rating on the trust pilot in a short time?

On a side note, I do not blindly trust the Trustpilot reviews as many of them are paid ones too, meaning companies give money to the individual to post good reviews about the sites. However, this does not mean that we stop using the sites like Trustpilot. I think if anyone does not look on the overall score at Trustpilot, but focus to read the actual comments can well understand the situation.

Especially if we can only read the low rating reviews about 1xbit at Trustpilot, then we can know the issues at the site and usually those who give bad rating tend to explain things as what is wrong with the site and how it scams.

The reputation of a casino has always been a target - atleast for the best, it's the fastest way to promote their site. A user will always write a review/ relay his experience on a site to another user... So it's safe to say that 1xbit is operating on a reverse phycology method?
I don't think they're doing any better... The evil will reveal itself to everyone, it'll only take a few more years I guess.

On a side note, I do not blindly trust the Trustpilot reviews as many of them are paid ones too, meaning companies give money to the individual to post good reviews about the sites. However, this does not mean that we stop using the sites like Trustpilot. People know about schemes made by those review site don't really trust everything what they have written on that site. There's bunch of people know the reputation of 1xbit and yet they manage to put good review on that casino in their site. So that make everything questionable and add up some doubts to people.

for people relying on those site to find good information on the platform they are trying to figure out their reputation much better for them to go to forums like bitcointalk and for sure that they can get more better and reliable reviews coming from people which have good experience to deal with this kind of platform that willing to share their valuable thoughts on every question asked in this community.

They really have no choice but to buy good reviews to counter the bad ones on their platform. They tried their best to correct their bad deeds here in Bitcointalk.
Unfortunately, there are so many accusations that they cannot keep up paying these complainants, so they opted to buy advertising space and reviews, but now these review platforms are correcting the reviews because they finally caught 1Xbit buying those reviews, and soon many more will follow until they have little choice to advertise their platform.

A normal thing unfortunately. It is still a business they are running therefore it is not surprising I think, to see them 'investing' to services that could boost their platform including fake reviews and advertisements. Most likely, new players are their prey because they would get easily convinced unlike with experienced gamblers who would first ask different communities such as this forum, before they actually engage to a gambling platform. Actually it should be a must to do than to just put your attention with site reviews. As for people who have really experienced or at least know people that had experience of something. You may test it for yourself and engage with their minimum wagering requirement to see things for yourself.  This isn't a new thing as I am saying, there are other providers who does exactly or worse to this so better be careful.

Looking at how negative comments here are I would have to highlight that a lot of platforms utilize fake reviews or st least incentivized reviews as a marketing strategy. So it's not the single most important indicator on deciding where to play. Here in Bitcointalk it's still possible to see very real reviews and scam accusations to determine the reputation of any platform. So this is also largely a platform issue other than anything else. Trustpilot is very shitty for instance.

You are right mate, they are looking for new customers from different locations so that they can also scam them. Well, I know too well that one from this forum that already knows them and their bad reputation won't use the 1xbit because they have known them as scammers. Those that are still using the 1xbit don't know about their bad reputation and most of their customers might be new gamblers that don't do research about the casino that they are using.

Doesn’t surprise me they fake their reviews but then again I feel like most companies pay people to write phony reviews anyways it’s just a business tactic. I think it’s pretty easy to see through all the bs vs seeing a genuine review. You should just leave a review with the link to this thread 😂

Well, I know too well that one from this forum that already knows them and their bad reputation won't use the 1xbit because they have known them as scammers. Those that are still using the 1xbit don't know about their bad reputation and most of their customers might be new gamblers that don't do research about the casino that they are using.

Many gamblers don't know about scam casinos because they come from gambling communities on social media and they don't know reputation issues and they never research casinos before they choose a casino to gamble, so many make mistakes from the start before they gamble can't choose a valid and legitimate casino for safe gambling, I'm not surprised that 1xbit is still popular among other gamblers because they have the funds to promote at big events and they still run a gambling system by covering up scam cases for many members.
