What do you think will the price of Bitcoin in 2024?

I am not trying to speculate the price of Bitcoin with this topic. I am only trying to see whether we as forum members can come up with a price that is either similar to what the survey predicted or we have our own figure.

Everyone will still have different opinion on this because even before this came up on coin gecko, there have been so many people on this forum who has already speculated that the price of Bitcoin will definitely reach $100k this year while some thinks otherwise. If you read across recent post on this board, you will definitely find a lot of  opinion.

According to that post by coin gecko, I don't think they only mean what the peak price will be for 2024, I think they are trying get opinion of peak price before we enter bear season. I think the peak price of Bitcoin will be $100k+ before the bear market starts.

Pretty low sample size for a survey on a massive market ngl. I'm more expectant of it going maybe 80k-ish, 90k if hopeful but not past 100k. I'm expecting 100k next year instead, maybe in the middle of the year or so. Highly doubt we'd bulldoze through the 80s and 90s after all, similar to how we didn't(or weren't?) able to bulldoze through the 70k. A lot of people were expectant then that it wouldn't stop and reach 100k right then and there but here we are now a few months later still sitting at below 70s.

Yes bro, I also agree with this, I also think Bitcoin will cross 100K by the end of this year. Because currently Bitcoin is not even close to 70K. It is currently stuck below 68K. Current situation looks like it will take several more days to cross 70K. However trust Bitcoin, it will surely cross 100K very soon. And it is most likely to happen by the end of this year.

They had conducted a survey post halving in which 2558 individuals participated. As mentioned 2 out 5 think Bitcoin price will hit or go above $100,000. There has been prediction earlier this year by a few analysts that Bitcoin will hit the $100K mark by the end of this year.

What is your prediction? Guess a number and by thr end of this year I will visit this thread to see who predicted the right amount.

Most people expected Bitcoin to be worth $100,000 before now and that has not happened therefore I think we should be expecting more people to think Bitcoin is going to be worth more than $100,000 any timeframe that you use to ask them. People make predictions based on their emotions and investment, if you ask people that do not own any Bitcoin or bought Bitcoin since, they will not care what the price might be by the end of 2024 but those that bought during the highest price that Bitcoin was selling this year which was $73,000, they will say they think the price should be worth more than $100,000 by 2024. But I think anybody thinking about just the end of 2024 is thinking short term but when investing in Bitcoin we should think long term and not short time.

$100K is not certain at the end of 2024, but it would be great if bitcoin could surpass it.

The survey would be more in favor of $100K in 2025 because considering they call it will be know bullish for the crypto market even I myself can't say it will be accurate just optimistic about the market that will likely be bullish.

Obviously my own target is $100K in 2025 - Q1-Q2.

I'm not very sure about that survey but I don't think that we may see Bitcoin at $100k in 2024 if market keeps dumping after some good growth.

Currently, the safe range for Bitcoin is in $55k to $72k and it's quite hard for it to cross that $72k barrier and remain over that range for many days.

If Bitcoin somehow crosses $80k within next 2 months then there's chance to see it at $100k by the end of 2024 or at first quarter of 2025. Hopefully, it will reach or cross $100k at the peak of bull run.

If i was part of this survey, then i would definitely be among the 2 in 5 who think that BTC price will hit or go above $100k. That being said, the cycle will prolly not end this year, so we cannot take the price at the end of this year to be the peak of the cycle, i am pretty certain we have to wait until 2025 to witness the end of the cycle. Hopefully if the crypto/world events go in our favor, then we might prolly get to $100,000 at the end of this year and above it by 2025.

The year is almost ending and bitcoin has not yet been able to break the resistance it set for itself to set a new all time high price. $100K is not an impossible value to reach but I do not think it will be in this year, maybe early next year.

By the end of this year, I predict the value of bitcoin to be between 80k-95k.

Looking at the current price of bitcoin sitting at over $69k the ATH is almost at sight. Unless we are not going to see a full blown bullrun this year, that's what is going to stop bitcoin from reaching $100k. But I am having this conviction that bitcoin reaching $100k in 2024 is very likely. The signs are already there, the year is gradually heading towards the ending part, and we are to see more upward trends than downward trends, going from here.

Bitcoin have hit the $70k resistance today before undergoing a minor retracement that is ongoing. It appears there is a very strong resistance at that level which market have tried to overcome a couple of times to no avail.  From what I know before, the moment that resistance is broken, it will be retested as a major support and if it holds, then it will become a reference support that will take price to $80k from.where $100k will be in sight.

All that will not happen immediately but before the end of next month we would have had the confirmation if market is taking this direction or not because the entire movement is dependent on how the market will behave around the $70 resistance.

I believe that we will peak at 80k this year at least, we could do a lot more, but I think at least 80k will be a possibility. A lot of people think that won't happen, but I think it's definitely a real possibility without a doubt.

What I think many people do not understand is that in every single year we had a bull run, it started at the end of one year and kept going to the next year, so that's going to be something that's important, we can't really make it change any other way, it's a must thing and has to be done properly. Without that, we are going to face some issues and can't really make any changes that easily, it is going to be a tough one and we need to just consider the reality of the situation.

If the same thing happens this year as well, then reaching 80k isn't even that hard, like it wouldn't even be the most important part, it would be the most obvious part of the deal and I think it will definitely end up with a good result in the end as well. We just need to wait, a lot of people feel they can't wait any longer, look at all those people who sold when it went under 60k, how are they feeling right now? Don't be like them and keep holding your coins as much as you possibly could.

My sincere question is what difference would this make? For the records and in my analytical experience, one can only use the previously reached chart data/price/pattern of the market to accurately predict what will happen in the future. This is unlike Bitcoin which has never reached $100,000 before, all that you see people spitting out is just guesswork, and it should not be taken seriously by any wise person.

And this doesn't matter what the majority says, the lowest bar as shown in the picture above may even win the poll as it's all based on gambling and not professionalism.

My prediction is that I will follow my trading chart for real-time guidance and not rely on assumptions.

I second that and all you said, breaking the $70k resistance is going to bring us closer to $100k, i don't know when that resistance will be broken, but it definitely will. That being said, many people may start to pull out as the price rises from here on, let us remember that some people have also set their taegets lower than $100, so once it gets there, they pull out, this is another factor that will make the journey to $100k longer.

ATH at what time frame do you refer? The last time that we hit, which was $73k? But higher than this are still called as ATH. Despite the ups and downs, and then there are also dips and corrections along the way, I can feel that the market sentiment is still bullish. I think that plays a major role about what the outcome that we can get. We cannot just simply say that a price like this won't happen if without a cause but like they say; 'in each thing that happens, there is always a reason for that'. For now, there is no known reason that might possibly stop our plans of reaching more heights and let's only hope that normal situations like this will be consistent.

Honestly, I would still want to see btc price reaching $75k-$80k before speculating $100k then. Although I believe it's not impossible for bitcoin to achieve $100k but I don't see it happening within this year, but most likely by the middle or last quarter of year 2025. That's also based from my own point of view, while others may see it happening within this year or early by 2025.

I do agree that it will peak over 100k during this cycle, but "this cycle" doesn't mean 2024 at all times, sometimes it means 2025 as well. I think 100k+ will happen, I am not sure if it will be in 2024 or if it will be early 2025. One thing people need to be careful about is that in 2025 when it peaks, we are going to start seeing the crash, go back and look at 2021 and you will see that after it peaked over 65k or so, it also started to go down a lot during the very same year, it wasn't like years later when it dropped, it was the same year. So when it peaks, be ready with your stop loss and make sure that you do not lose all your money, make sure that you can save some of that for later.

Many have failed with the expectation that Bitcoin will be $100k in 2021 and so, that hope and expectation is continued to this cycle. No matter what happens, it's normal to think that this might be the right moment to see it become a reality. IMHO, whether it happens or not, as long as we're up by the current price and this is going to be the floor price for the next cycles, we're already on a win here. I have also seen more than $100k of predictions and when they become a reality, then that's so much better. Waiting game as it is and we'll see the peak likely by 2025 maybe early of it or mid of that year.

The reference to 2024 is wrong, BTC is not running by this time table.   You might as well go by the Chinese Lunar New year and arguably it would make more sense then tying BTC to this calender.

  Maybe the tax year, fairly universal and imo some selling maybe buying does come in time with various tax returns.

Its been sitting there since March and in no hurry to go anywhere do anything.  We just go back and forth like a one legged duck swimming in circles between each river bank.   I dont think we about to sink but I doubt this birds ability to fly just yet

Am not surprised seeing the % of individuals involved in this survey to have gone for the $100k mark to peak the price for Bitcoin. It is allegedly where every Bitcoin concerned and invested individual want the price to be. We’ve seen price at $67k, $72k and even crashed below that and given a probable bullrun in the space after a just concluded halving, it’s okay to expect price at $100k but we just might not see this in this year, it just might not be the case should we not have a bullrun already and it’s the likeliest of possibilities.

A little over $100k is a very realistic goal for a new ATH. However, I don't think the question in the survey is setting a time limit (that Bitcoin must reach the price by the end of 2024). It's merely saying 'this cycle', and a cycle can easily continue into 2025 if not even further. Some believe in 3-year or 4-year Bitcoin cycles, and some calculate cycles as periods between halving events. So a cycle might be a price before 2028, before we officially hit the bear market (whenever that happens, possibly in 2025), and perhaps in the near future (before the end of 2024).

I think most people believe it will happen in early next year, i haven't see too many speculations of bitcoin reaching $100k this year. The mistake sometimes is that some people believe the cycle is going to end this year, but it won't, it should stretch until next year, and it is when we are closer to the peak of the cycle that bitcoin should reach $100k+, it is going to be really exciting times for all bitcoiners who will see that happen.
