A draw is the strongest possibility in these matches because we can say that both teams are strong. Roma is on the rise in the Italian league and I think they will work as hard as they can for these matches they will play in the European league. My favorite for the European league is Tottenham right now. I think they are good enough to be champions.

I don't know the Porto team, i do not follow this team in the relative championship, however Roma currently has several problems and it does not seem to me to be such a stable team that can afford to win something this year.

Roma's defeat to Milan in the last match proved that their defense is still very fragile, perhaps both teams will score goals in this game. Manchester United winning the Europa league, a good path to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season. They will continue in their consistent streak winnings in Europa league which doesn't serve any shocking odds rather enabled them to gain their ground. They will be in Europa League final, their odds gets tightened based on the performing results they generates. Ruben Amorim reputation as manager is about to skyrocket to the prominent angle.

To achieve that target, Amorim needs to stabilize his squad's performance in the long term as soon as possible because in the round of 16 and beyond they will face difficult matches, if you compare their performance in two different events they seem more focused on this competition but it would be nice if they also improve their position in the Premier League. As Roma vs Porto both have their own advantages which make it difficult for the opponent to beat them. Manchester United winning the Europa League is still very possible, they might be playing awfully in the premier League but their performance here isn't that bad. They qualified automatically from the group stages after not playing very well in the start of the league. Manchester united are going to only have few challenges for the other clubs that'll be competing for the title too but they're not that big of a club to give Manchester United much problems unless Manchester United starts to misbehave as they used to do and begins to lose focus that they lose in important matches since all the games from now are very important to keep you in the league.

Beşiktaş have said goodbye to the Europa League early. And now there are only 2 Turkish teams remaining in the tournament: Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray.

Both of them are in the playoffs. Galatasaray could have been in top 8 though if they didn't mess up too much in defense... Now they face AZ in the playoffs phase. With this kind of poor defending, I see them out too I'm afraid. 

When it comes to Fenerbahçe, they are going to play against Anderlecht. Not an easy opponent. But at least they didn't make the same mistake as Galatasaray and they signed defenders in the recent transfer window. I think their chance is higher to reach next stage.

There is no way to say that Roma is a very strong team. However, if we compare Roma's performance at the beginning of the season with its current performance, we can see that this team's performance has improved. Roma is now in a somewhat stable position. On the other hand, we have not seen a good performance from Porto in the last few matches. The team is not in good form now. So it is definitely difficult for Porto to win against Roma. Although the first leg of Porto vs Roma is a home match for Porto, I still consider Roma to be the favorite. Roma will give their maximum effort to do well in the Europa League.

Apart from stabilizing the team's performance, am I the only one who thinks Manchester United's chances of lifting an European trophy this season is very limited because of the limited depth in their squad? The January transfer window, important player like Marcus Rashford who can single handedly decide the result of big games on his day left the club and never did the club management sign any replacement for him. Again, Lisandro Martinez who's been the club's best defender in recent games have recently suffered a huge setback after tearing his ACL.
There's no doubting the fact that the Old Trafford club is doing exceptionally well in the UEFA Europa League this season but I strongly doubt that they'll continue their impressive performance in the knockout stages with the current squad.

Of the 8 matches, only Roma's match is interesting to watch and see how strong their efforts are to survive in the UEL this season. I don't see a bright future for Roma this season. Because their performance for me is a bit inconsistent and while Porto is a team that has experience and cannot be underestimated. If perhaps in the play-off match Roma fails to qualify for the next round, I'm sure this team will be a team that is talked about more often. Because in the past this team was still known as a good team but now its reputation has declined and since losing Mourinho, Roma seems to have no charisma whatsoever.

Roma definitely looks better, and when it comes to United they do look like they are not doing that bad at Europa neither, there are some teams that just does better when it comes to UEFA competitions more than they do at their own league. I mean Sevilla won this league so many times when they were horrible at La Liga, we all know that.

United is having the worst ever season of their life probably, or at least it is the worst I can remember stretching over three decades, and yet they are not really looking like they will end up with much. So all in all, I am assuming that we are going to see these teams do better than their league versions and will care about the wins here more than they do at their own leagues.

I doubt it, especially since the system that Amorim implemented did not work as he wanted, even Amorim did not try to change the system that he carried. This is a tough job for Amorim, he really has to make his team understand what he is implementing. Often Manchester United players do not play according to the scenario, which ultimately makes it very difficult to distribute the ball when building an attack. So, Amorim has to change his concept and strategy a little so that the players are able to play dynamically. Plus, there is no need to experiment a lot by playing players who are not really ideal players in their positions. For example, like Mainoo who was made a center forward. Well, so that Manchester United can go to the final phase, it means that Amorim has to do something that might change the game scheme of his team. Sevilla journey to success in the Europa League can be a relevant example for Manchester United, Ruben Amorim can use it as the main motivation for his team so that they do not get discouraged. Manchester United have complete attributes to win trophies, in my opinion they deserve to be included in the candidate for the favorite team this season. It is already impossible to win a ticket to the Champions League through the Premier League, therefore the Europa League is certainly Manchester United main priority.

Manchester United appeared undefeated in the League Phase, in my opinion this indicates that they are ready to face various challenges in the future. If all players are available without injury, Ruben Amorim will most likely be able to meet fan expectations. Manchester United movement in the transfer market will be very limited if they fail to win the Europa League trophy, they will have difficulty recruiting players if they do not play in the Champions League.

This is home match for Porto which i am sure they will be targetting win result but Roma also in the good shape especially after beat Frankfurt in this competition and draw from Napoli which these record have proven Roma has good progress under Ranieri so i will assume Roma will attempt not to lost from Porto and displayed defensive strategy

In the term of schedules i can see Roma has more hard compared to Porto because after fight against AC Milan on Coppa Italy Roma has a match against Venezia in Serie A this Saturday but i am sure they can able to beat Venezia and about the match against Porto i think it's hard to predicted but i just thinking there is possibility the match will ended to draw

Rome has really happened the worst of the worst, the port is a team that will surely throw out Roma, I always hope that they can do a good result but they are currently not doing very well and the results are really scarce, the players are there , but the team just doesn't want to go around the right direction

This season, they are indeed quite bad and their performance is still very unstable, not yet consistent enough to play well and competently in every match. and unfortunately, they have to meet Porto, where this club is also usually quite good against the top teams.
