When Roma sacked Jose Mourinho last season and replaced him with the recently sacked Daniele De Rossi, a lot of us also had the opinion that Roma under Rossi will take some time before picking up but to the surprise of many of us, Roma went to have a good performance in the second half of the season which saw them reach the semi finals of the UEFA Europa League competition.

I wonder why they decided to pick Juric. According to some websites, his stats at Genoa and Torino are not that amazing. His points per match are around 1.5 iirc[1]. While it's still early, they will try to focus on Serie A for now. Aiming for a top-16 finish on the Europe League table is still realistic. I think it was a rushed decision, but I do not think that it wasn't a decision they did not consider.
