>>not many would agree that there is a safest way, but indeed they are safe ways to trade in other to minimize your losses.
I've been trading for quite sometime and I've used different strategies in other to make profits, and following the trend been one of them.
I see this strategy as been the most safer, because it minimizes your losses and sure brings you profits, only if you are a patient and long term trader.
But since we're all here  I know many people would have different strategies of their own. Drop a strategy you u think is the most safer and reliable.
You have already answered yourself that there is nothing like safest strategy when you are trading, what you should do is just to discover the strategy that best works for you, the strategy that’s working for me might not work for other, so don’t try to follow other people’s strategy because it might not really work for you.

You are asking other people to drop their strategy, but from your post, it’s shows that you are having a strategy which you are using, and it’s working for you, then you should just share it here, am sure people will really learn from it.

Oh yeah I've heard about that but I find it hard to get it through of which I want to know the safest measures to trade inorder to minimize losses. So can you please outline them so i and some others can as well learn from it inorder to put it into practice cause few strategies i know of ain't working in making me generate much profits and minimize losses.
He asked everyone about the safest strategy to use in trading, mate. It is quite confusing that you also ask him in the same time. Ideally, you answer his question because he also never mentions what the safest strategy is.

By the way, you must remember that everyone may have a different trading style. So I assume there is no single strategy that can be safest/perfect for anyone. You just need to consider yourself which strategy to be the safest for you. If you still can't get a suitable strategy, why don't you try another strategy? Try yourself and you can evaluate whether it is good or not for your trading style!

Strategies are many in trading that when you employ them, they come with their wins and also come with their risks which can make you lose when you don’t try to avoid those risks...

There are no safe strategies, and it is for this reason that a trader must adhere to risk management, thanks to which, in case of negative circumstances for you, your losses will be minimal. Thus, trading strategies allow us to make a profit, and risk management allows us to reduce losses.
If only there's a "safe" strategy, then many of the traders must be profitable by now.
For me, there's no such thing as "safe" strategy although there are "working" strategies, but your profitability in trading will come to 2 things:
1. Risk management
2. Psychology

You can have a working strategy, but if you don't know how to manage your risk, you will still end up losing your money in the end. At the same time, you can have a strategy that works for you, but if you're the type of trader who panics easily whenever you see your position going down 10-20% and closing your position the moment you see it, you will still end up losing as well. I want to say that being emotionless in trading also works, but humans are emotional in nature so I would say that have these 2 things plus have a strategy that works for you, that MIGHT increase your chances in making money. Cheesy

Comfort in implementing a strategy is also important, because if we are not comfortable with the strategy, it is likely that we will not be able to maximize its implementation. That is why we also have to find something that suits us.

You are right, when other people succeed and I do not by using the same strategy, it does not mean I am wrong, because maybe there is something that we do not know yet that is the key. The main goal is profit, so whatever the strategy is if it is comfortable for us to use and provides benefits, then do the best for us.

I think the only way you can have comfortability in trading is when you have proper risk management, one of the first risk management in trading is having an extra source of income aside trading this gives you freedom to actually trade comfortably and even gives you the much needed confidence to either trust your strategy or even test the same strategy with fear of losing.

Others can have a strategy that gives profit but that same strategy can not work for you because of many factors like time, income, capital and even other activities, even a simply demand and supply strategy can work for a trader but will be very bad strategy for another trader. It is all about getting what works for you and sticking to it
Risk management is one of the series that we must have to give us comfort when trading and of course there are many more, such as financial management and so on.

Comfort will be felt by ourselves and we should know what will make us comfortable. Well, therefore we also have to know ourselves first well, because when we already know and know ourselves then we will understand more. This is something that is interrelated with each other that we should not miss.
