In as much as phone is valuable, more also to any relationship I keep, I wouldn't dear to loose any , mostly if the loss is of life I won't prefer phone to human life. Because I can still get phone and recovered some valuable which I stored, there are some relationship that Worth more than phone and can still give what the phone has in hundred fold.i will digress by sighting a guy who visited his friend weeding in one of the third world countries was suffering without job his relationship with his friends get him a job outside his country all the bill was paid by his friend, looking at this he has phone but couldn't change his life the relationship change his life, even when phone has some things to offer relationship has it own in another dynamic way both is indispensable for me.

Phones is very useful no doubt but it can never replace real human connections phones can be replaced data Can be recovered but genuine love are rare to get, sometimes life changing. that example you gave truly says alot sometimes it is the individual we know not, not the things we own but open doors for people at the end of the day both have value but if it comes down to it human life and meaningful relationships Wil always matters most.
