I use to be addicted to gambling away my entire signatures campaign earnings before, and this effected my financial life alot because I always feel empty at the end of each week, when I lost my pay on either sport bets on dice, and when I realise that I was gradually becoming addicted, I decided to check out what the cause could be and I later discovered that.

Why I gamble all the time and with all my payment is because I belong to a casino signature campaign that pays directly into my gambling account and this become a trap for me to waste my money until I hard to pull out from that situations.

 It was hard getting out from addiction to gambling. At first it started with watching games with my friends and I'd be able to tell the outcome of the game then I decided to try my prediction skills by adding a little amount but then it got bigger and in all these, I'd tell myself that nothing is easy, it comes with risks but it greatly affected not just my finances but my mental health as well because whenever I lose, I'd always beat myself up and that I'm losing my touch or some shit my brain would cook up.
 I was able to realize that things had gotten out of hand because money rarely stays with me and instead of doing something productive, I'd waste it so I quickly checked myself, cut off all things sports and gambling related for sometime till I got a hold of myself. I won't say I'm totally free, but I'm a good work in progress.

Specifically, I may not be categorized as a gambling addict, but I have experienced what it is like when I always depend on the Slot games that I play all the time without any breaks at all.

He was very lucky that he had his family beside him to call him back to others before it was too late, and one thing that made it very easy for him to be talked out of it is that he is the type that shares his problems with people, and he is also the type that listens to advice, so he took the advice of avoiding gambling. For sure we come into that stages where we think about gambling. Some failed to control their selves also their greed and some manage to became more responsibilities maybe for some reasons.

And its great for me that realization about those bad habits I've done before float up and come to think that its not good to push our selves to gamble more even if we are already in bad situation. That's why right now I choose to gamble when I don't have other things to do or if there is just a big events on sports that is good to place my bets because it will add the exciting feeling when we have something stake in our favorite teams on sports that we are watching.

I remember when I was younger me and several friends would spend decent money on counter strike cases and skins. Opening up cases, trading them, buying keys.

This soon transpired to using said skins on sites that let you bet without ever checking your age. We would deposit these virtual items on these sites, get a cash balance and keep rolling the dice to get better skins. Some of us had no limits and were burnt out of hundreds of dollars in value which was devastating in a young age. The story is simple and it was just about getting that VIP rank in a rush. I remember when I really lost too much and got addicted to gambling, it was the time when I tended to bet always in Dota 2 games (eSports) and NBA games.
I'm thankful that even though I can say I get addicted to gambling, the amount of money I am using is not that too much, the addiction only on me is I am always eager to place bets but the amount of money I will put does not really matter before, small or huge.
But I admit, I really lost too much before.

This is not my story, but my neighbor who became addicted because he was influenced by his friends even though he was still young and productive, but because many of his friends influenced him to gamble and he saw his friends getting a lot of money from it, he became a gambler and unfortunately he was addicted. He sold a lot of his parents' property, stole, and did many other criminal acts just to gamble. His parents had even given up because he was very difficult to talk to and tended to feel right. I don't know how he is now, but what I heard is that he is still addicted to gambling and even drugs. This is a lesson for us that someone has the potential to become addicted to gambling when he is influenced by others - choosing a healthy friendship environment can keep us away from bad things.

Maybe I am a bit of addicted to gambling in the past after I realizes that I am a little difficult to get away from gambling. I am trying to do more activities to block my minds thinking about gambling. It is not easy but I must do that because if not, I can lose all of my money.

I am not a gambling addict and I don't have story about any gambling addiction. As a matter of fact I bearly gamble, I usually play sometime ago but I currently I don't play that much now. But if you care to know what causes addiction then I may tell you that aggressive can cause addiction. When people go to the casino and Start wining initially, and later start losing they start chasing after loses, this is one factor that causes addiction, secondly having that though that one day you must win the desired amount you wanted and quit, and this makes you to keep trying and trying untill you get addicted trying to win big. Another one is when you win a game instead of you to withdraw it you continue playing having hopes of doubling or tripling your fund and you may lose you won amount chasing jackpot.

I have experienced where I felt that I was indeed addicted. In that incident, I did not place a bet once and experienced a loss, but there was an attraction that made me want to do it again so I put money back in and bet again but the result was still the same, which was losing again, this is where I started to lose control where I could not accept the defeat that had occurred so I gambled repeatedly but the results were still the same, until in a state that could be said to be desperate, I took the risk of borrowing my friend's money to bet again. In this situation, I was very lucky because luck was on my side by giving me a multiple win that could not only cover the losses that had occurred but also provide great benefits.

From that incident, I learned a lesson to be able to control myself better, it does not mean that we have to keep betting to turn things around for the better. I myself do not know what it would be like if luck was not on my side at that time.

I haven't been addicted to gambling but I know a handful of persons that are currently addicted to gambling and I can tell what is actually the cause. On the average, what mostly leads to addiction is when you're financially down and chooses gambling as a way out of your financial situation or you're in an environment where most of your friends spends most of the weekend at betting shop and you hang around with them always. If you aren't careful, you will most likely become addicted like them. The rate at which people get addicted happens so fast mostly when they become greedy and make it look like they must a certain amount before eventually quitting or slowing down on it. Once you've set an amount you must win as a gambler, just know that you're headed to becoming an addict in the fastest possible time.

Everyone has their experiences with gambling some people didn't get addicted while some got addicted due to several reasons, I think one of the main reason why I got addicted to gambling was having that delusional thought that it can make me rich and also chasing my losses was another reason. I was trapped in the constant loop of winning and throwing away everything I had over and over again.

There is no way people addiction story will prevent you from addiction if you don't practice responsible gambling and have self control over your gambling activities. This is why one should not see gambling as a means of making profit and only gamble with the amount of money that he can afford to lose. Otherwise, you will become addicted unknown to you that you are addicted.

I got addicted because I wanted to double my money with gambling and that made me to gamble irresponsible. Profit was always on my mind even though I am losing and chasing of my losses became the order of the day which got me into addiction. Personally, if I recall correctly, I also participated in a campaign before where payments were sent directly to my gambling account. It was a good thing that I had a full-time job at the time, so I could freely allocate my earnings to gambling, as it was just my side income. But it's really important to control ourselves because, despite the temptation, we need to be able to make the right decisions. Now that we've had that experience, we're more mature and better able to handle ourselves properly, even if payments are sent directly to our gambling accounts.

I don’t think got addicted fully, but it all started when I came across a game at one local gambling site in my country.

I saw the game and then started playing it with little money - it got me hooked on it that I increase my deposit and before I knew what was happening I saw myself spending more money on the game - it was after I started spending more money than I’ve ever spent on gambling that I decided to hop in for self exclusion and since they were the only site I’ve seen the game I could no longer play and that was how I prevented myself from becoming a gambling addict.
