My observations so far.

I just want to clear your impressions concerning the merit stuff, I just newly got here and I'm yet to understand what it's all about or how to get it, I only used it as a reference based on what I read from the link I got yesterday, well I'll take my time and study the forum more.

You don't have to concern yourself with merits. I know that it might sound weird coming from someone with thousands of them, but it's true. Just participate in normal conversations and do your best. The merits tend to come. But you are not going to get any (or many) if you don't show any knowledge about Bitcoin or whatever the topic of discussion is about. Merits are rewarded for posts that are helpful, solve problems, and display knowledge, logic, common sense, sanity, etc.

But what is the usefulness of this topic and thread? How helpful can it be to you and other people on this forum? I believe you can answer this yourself that it has no use. If you have nothing to post, it is better not to post anything than posting what is not useful. Do not see this to be harsh, but to help you in knowing what to bring next time.

Just thought of the same thing, when i saw the title i was eager to know what OP observed but all i get is a disappointment, the thread is of no use to himself and anyone else. I guess OP just want to increase his post count and activity count asnd probably looking for ways to farm merit or maybe he is just new here and doesn’t understand how things work here, creating a topic means you have something important to share with the community or want to ask a question to learn.

Some members must have criticized him and he must have learned from his mistakes and i believe he would improve himself and only post useful information.

The topic is completely disconnected from the body of the post which make what you have said absolutely correct. A little look at the topic would suggest that it belong to the Meta board but reading the body shows just another unnecessary post by someone eager to create a topic. This is not new though, there are many of such topics that lack any substance in many boards, sometimes the mods delete some of them but some due pass them without being noticed. What we should do to help the mods is to report topics that we think does not make any meaning so the mod can review and act accordingly.
