I gamble for fun, with amounts I can easily afford to lose, this means it cannot affect my mood and I can gamble before an important event.

This type of idea never came in my mind before. I am not a regular gambler, only very rarely I gamble and it's obviously in big tournaments which the whole world is watching. I don't think in any life event like in birthday, celebrating Christmas - I thought of spend some time in gambling. Family is more important in such occasions.

Because at that time if I can win gambling and profit then maybe that time will be more enjoyable for me. I usually don’t gamble anytime near an important occasion because it will always ruined your precious time experience on the actual event or after event if you will lose in gambling.

I’ve done both and the experience is terrible especially if you lose before the event since your mind will be busy thunking about what ifs on your losses so much better to just wait until you have a free day away from the important occasion.

There’s a lot of time to do gambling and remember that it’s not a necessity that we can’t skip.

I don't get the idea why gambling treated like something that must be done? gambling is just extra activity because it's for entertainment, you can get other entertainment depends on what you like.

Gambling result shouldn't affect your next activity especially for important occasion, if you can't handle it, better to evaluate whether you gamble too much or not and check whether you gamble for money or fun.

If I lose my gambling, it doesn't get to me as it was when I started gambling the first time. Gambling is what you do without taking it to heart, because the results can go sideways, so wether I do it before or after an important occasion is immaterial. So in answering your question OP, I can gamble before or after any occasion without minding the outcome.

I have not really thought about this, but i do not really have to because i do not gamble with amounts that i cannot afford to lose, so losing a game wouldn't really affect mood, i would just get on with it. I think people who should be worried about something like this are people who gamble with so much money, and they even take gambling as a source of income; if that's not you, then it does not matter when you gamble.

Don't know if gambling is something important to you? For myself, it's just for fun, which means that when there is an important event, I don't think about gambling anymore, whether I want to win or lose, I don't care, because I will focus on the event.

So I don't have to gamble after the event is over or before, because gambling will be according to free time and when there is more money, I will never force it even though I know that the bet will win, for example in sports betting.

it doesn't really matter if you're gaming before, after or during an occasion. Except you're a reckless gambler that gambles above your set out amount and play with what you can't afford to loose. If you only gamble with what you can afford to loose, you can gamble at whatever time and situation you find yourself in.

even though I always want to win in all my gamble, I've known gambling too well to understand that sometime I can also loose. I wouldn't say that It doesn't affect me at all whenever I loose, it does affect my mode and sometimes it has also reflected in the way I react to things few moment into my loss most expecially when while I made the gamble I was almost certain that everything was going to happen as planned.

The question is directed to those that gamble with emotions, because if I am gambling with in a small limits, there is no way the outcome of a game will affects my emotions in any ways, this is because I don't attach emotions to it, I just play the bet and enjoy whatever comes out from it.

Since then I don't participate in such bets before any event because a little greedy bet would definitely spoil the big fun.

Depending on your country LDL because using gambling money for such important sacrifice celebration in Islam, your worship on those day may not be accepted, I don't know any ways, but most of my Muslim friends stay totally away from gambling, some of them can even turn down jobs just because of the religious beliefs of Islam on gambling.
Any ways you kind of Person matters in religion while some are core devoted others just sees such EID period as just a time to celebrate, so it doesn't matter and you having such winning on that day is a great relief on your shopping budgets.
