I have never been this conscious of the events before me when gambling, whatever the outcome of my gamble may be, it always ends that day. This means, I do not really care if I win or lose before an important occasion. What I really care about is my state of mind as at the point when I gamble. If a forthcoming event tends to give me so much anxiety or disrupt my state of mind in any way, I'll choose not to gamble so I do not gamble with an unstable mind.

Most of you bring too much emotion to gambling. Gambling is a continuous activity that should be done with funds not budgeted for any urgent needs. It’s like mixing business with pleasure- that combo can turn sour if you get dealt the wrong hand. If it’s something very important I would refrain from gambling, in the chance that you lose it’ll be all you can think of and you’ll dread the important occasion as a result with guilt and regret. I think I would rather never gambled before an important occasion , to be honest. It would not only about spoiling my mood with some consecutive losses which are very likely to happen on a casino. But also , because when there are planned occasions like those we talk about it is possible we all need to have some spare money to spend on it, regardless whether we are talking a birthday celebration , a vacacion travels, or an anniversary celebration etc.

Whenever I gamble, I always have a mindset that it's outcome is going to be 50/50, that is, it's either I win or I lose, and as such I don't always put my entire hope in it, but always try to be positive, while I expect whatever the outcome may be. Because one thing I have come to notice is that it's only when a gambler stake or wager an amount he/she can not afford to lose that they always get disturbed and worried about what the outcome of an even will be. I don’t really understand what you mean by an important occasion. And also, the only people that will feel bad after losing in gambling are the ones that gambled with so much money, or should I say, the ones that are addicted to gambling. I see no reason why a loss should change someone’s mood completely. If you know you are an addicted gambler, then it’s just better you stay away from gambling if you are having an important event, or it’s better you just gamble with a small amount of money.

Important occasion can have different meaning depend on the people theirself but the common important occasion which i know probably wedding moment, birthday moment or families gathering which discussed important things and if i have to facing the situations which i mentioned above then usually i will wait until these occasion finished and not to gamble on that day because those occasion is more important than my gambling activities

Why force your self to gamble if you know you can't really or possibly make good strategy in haste. If you are going somewhere or in an occasion like you said, then you should let everything have its own time. What exactly do you consider to be an important occasion? A job interview? Wedding? Going on a date? Business meeting?

I would never gamble before important occasions. I would probably be too nervous and anxious to care about gambling. My life isn't stressful at all and there aren't many important occasions for me to show up.

Why do you ask about gambling after an important occasion? There shouldn't be any problem playing gambling games after the occasion.

I have not really thought about this, but i do not really have to because i do not gamble with amounts that i cannot afford to lose, so losing a game wouldn't really affect mood, i would just get on with it. I think people who should be worried about something like this are people who gamble with so much money, and they even take gambling as a source of income; if that's not you, then it does not matter when you gamble.

I haven't given a thought about it either because I'm not a regular gambler and when I gamble it's with the amount that I can afford to loose. I think that it's people that gambles with a lot of money that it can affect their mood if they lose before an important occasion.
