The prize question is why it took the OP 7 years to listen to LoyceV and start this topic.

He clearly stated in the PM that he was not going to create a topic about it because he was afraid no one would support him and it would end badly for him (I believe he has finally found the courage to do so now). We can't blame him for not doing it 7 years ago; our focus as a community is whether the red is justified or not. This is the aim of this thread isn't it?

It would be much better for OP to start a reputation thread back then to admit his mistakes instead of sending LoyceV those private messages. Let's say if we believe for a second that OP wasn't intending to ask for a positive trust feedback then why he said that Drop a positive?

Still there's nothing wrong with sending PM asking for forgiveness and attempting to settle situations amicably without involving the community and as I said previously, the "drop me a positive " might imply so many things in this case. We both don't know

I agree sending a PM to ask for forgiveness isn't wrong at all and if it helps to solve issues between two members then that's the best way for it, and it's also true that someone who doesn't speaks a language often uses words that can be interpreted in wrong way.

As examplens suggested, LoyceV may reconsider the OP's words and then take a good decisions after checking the posts of the OP. I believe Red to neutral can be helpful for the OP but it's LoyceV's decision.

Yes, I’ve had a bad record and some miscommunication with LoyceV 7 years ago, but now, I’m requesting for your constructive feedback to help convince LoyceV. Your constructive feedback could change LoyceV's decision.

In order to not repeat myself:

The trouble is the OP screwed the pooch, and hasn't made amends or taken responsibility.  For that alone I think the red-tag is justified.

I don't think LoyceV has seen any reason to remove the tag, and your lack of accountability would only encourage me to keep it there if I were in his place.  You still haven't admitted that what you did was wrong, nor have you acknowledged that you did it, which can be clearly seen by all.

Be a man, admit your mistake, then move on with your life.  You can still participate constructively in this forum with the red-tag in place.  Maybe someday LoyceV will consider removing it, but I would hold my breath while waiting if I were you.
