Hmmm... Most Alts Could be Hitting Bottom Here

While I agree about how the new ones could have a better potential, I do not believe the risk involved would be worth the reward so I try to avoid them. I understand not a lot of people like investing into old ones because you are not going to get super rich with them quickly, which is true because bitcoin or ethereum will not go 10x or more in the near future we know this, but I still invest into them over new ones because at least I know what to expect from them. When you are investing into a new coin or token, you could invest a thousand dollars, and your thousand dollars could be seven dollars or seven thousand dollars in a month, I feel like this is why many people take that risk.

However, if you invest into bitcoin then your thousand dollars could be fifteen hundred at best or be eight hundred at worst. So, when you think about how much bitcoin could go up or down, the risk is very low and you are going to get what you paid for, but when you invest into new stuff like the examples you shared, you could end up seeing them go down more than 90% as well, which is a risk I am not willing to take right now and I am not going to put any kind of money into something as risky as those.

Indeed, that's the very reason that you need to work hard finding the right assets to invest your money, as there's  always a good chance to earn decently when the timing of your investment is in place, I guess it's a self-explanatory situation where each investors and traders got thier own opinions regarding to this matter.

If you continue sorting those good projects and continue following the developments then the rewards may be decent to cover the wait and the trust that you invest aside from the money that's involve.

Apart from the starting few months, this year hasn't been very well for cryptocurrencies, which is probably the reason why newly released coins and tokens aren't able to maintain their prices or see much growth. The reason is clear, there isn't enough money flowing into these projects, people often get tokens from airdrops or other means and dump them after the listing, which causes dumps and when investors see a token dumping, they don't find it interesting because you wouldn't want to ride in a sinking boat.

Once Bitcoin becomes stable and starts moving up after that, that might mark the time for altcoins to show some movement as well, and once they start showing some movement, investors will start filling their bags because most investors know they can get better and quicker profits from altcoins than they can with Bitcoin.

The best is to keep the market top heavy, so we invest into things that are only good ones and the rest do not get the money. This is why the top 10 worths more than everything combined after top 50, there are tens of thousands of coins and tokens, all combined which doesn't worth as much as top ten.

Also, bitcoin usually passes everything else combined in many cases, we have seen bitcoin price be lower too, but we have seen it be 50%+ too, and this means top heavy is the way to go or at least what people like to invest this way. Hence this method will continue to exist for a long time and people will not invest into unknown stuff too much money, they will keep their money at the top.

Yes, I haven't invested into anything outside of top 20 for many years now, technically speaking LTC is out of top 20 quite often, but at 21 or 22, so the only one is LTC, but all my other investments are top 20 and LTC could be considered there when you take out stablecoins.

After all, you do not "invest" into stablecoins, those are just cash and fiat within crypto world for easier trading nothing more but we do not invest into them with the hopes of the price going up because price is always the same price. In the end, we need to realize tens of billions of dollars go into these top 20, and only maybe a billion goes into all others combined, so why would we want to risk and put our money somewhere risky?

Yes, Altcoins will only bottom when bitcoin goes down, it has become a rule of the market. Other assets, not just bitcoin, are also retreating and bitcoin's downward reaction is normal. Therefore, altcoins will have to continue to wait, it may be an opportunity to accumulate or buy more at the next low price. I guess Q4 will have interesting adjustments, if there is support, bitcoin will increase very quickly. I continue to observe and wait in october.

but there is also altcoin that is growing despite of bitcopin humping price right? there is some of them that is being pumped by some whales just to victimized foolish people so better to be ready then .
and bottoming? we have seen them actually but now we are in growing period of the phase again .

It all depends on the caps, market sentiment, etc. - but generally, big alts, especially ETH, do follow BTC in its track. Especially if it moves hard

Yeah, stables are like safety measures just in case, because the real deal is in other coins, and I do believe so as well. Picking from the oldest and the biggest out there is the easiest choice to be sure that your investment is in a good position.
