I didn't expect Aris to win this game but I was expecting Panathinaikos to score at least one goal and they failed even that. Olympiakos draw against Asteras was unexpected as well and the only team that takes advantage from this round was AEK. And PAOK, but they need more than that to cover the distance.
Let's see if Atromitos gets the win in tomorrow's match, and give me a small profit from this week's Superleague betting. If not...

Neither did I, I'm still frustrated on how Panathinaikos didn't manage to score a single goal against Aris, while I'm also surprised that Olympiakos vs. Asteras ended in a tie. Quoting from my previous post where I was too confident about Olympiakos.

Olympiakos vs. Asteras seems like a certain win for Olympiakos, even though Asteras has been on a win streak the in the past few weeks.

The truth is that Asteras has been on a winning streak, something I also mentioned previously, but I wasn't predicting to put up a fight against Olympiakos, they even scored first at the 4th minute of the match. Anyway, this weekend didn't go exactly as planned, but we still have two more matches with decent odds to look forward to (2.34 for Levadiakos winning and 1.86 for Atromitos). If Lamia manages to change their losing streak today, then I'll be dumbfounded.

What a win from the AEK Athens team, its pretty strange to see them as the second team with most goals scored in the whole league, only one goal behind of PAOK who have 40 goals scored.

No, it won't. At least Levadiakos won (0-2) and they decreased my loss from the Atromitos defeat (1-2 which was another unpredicted result) and the Olympiakos draw. Hopefully, next week things will be different for all, even if we don't have a derby.

Levadiakos won against Lamia but Kallithea vs. Atromitos didn't go as planned. I didn't watch either game as I'm a little sick and stayed in bed today, but I'm seeing that Atromitos had a lot more passes, better accuracy, more shots and the majority of the ball's possession. I'm surprised they lost, the match had decent odds as well. Unfortunately, this loss balanced the Levadiakos vs. Lamia game, so the whole week didn't go exactly as planned. To be honest, I was confident that the last two matches would go the way I was anticipating, but one of them didn't, and that's okay, it happens. We'll see eachother in a few days for next weekend's matches.

I never know what happen to him, but seems like Manchester United was so much for him and his head, i really thinked he can comeback to a pretty decent level on Sevilla but it turned out in another failure and now it was in a middle tier team.

Now one step more below in the greek torunament, still dont match with the expectations, but seems like he wants to be again that player.

First match of the week, OFI vs. Asteras Tripolis, two great teams with decent performances while keep in mind that Asteras has won every single game the past few weeks except the last one against Olympiakos which ended in a tie. On the one hand I want to support OFI, but on the other hand, I do not. AEK vs. Atromitos is going to be a relatively easy win for AEK. However, I am not seeing a derby this weekend, between any of the dominant teams, which is a little surprising. Most of the other matches are a dominant team, such as Panathinaikos, against a lesser one, such as Volos.

Both teams have scored great performances the past few matches, especially Asteras, rendering this match a risk, even though it has great odds. Personally, I'm considering placing a minor bet of $15 to $30 on OFI, but on the other hand, my inside voice is telling me to place it on Asteras. I'll see what I'll do tomorrow. I'm also planning on placing on Levadiakos vs. Aris, supporting Aris. The other matches are quite indifferent, it's mostly a dominant team vs. a smaller one, thus, the odds are quite poor. I'm attaching the odds for the upcoming matches, only Panetolikos vs. Kallithea is missing because it didn't fit the screenshot (2.33 and 3.35).

I have to requote myself because when i check the scores today i see them and said to myself.... ohhh it was so close to my prediction, AEK ended up winning the game in the extra time at the very last minute against Atromitos, somehow i was in the correct about them with high chance of dropping points.

OFI vs. Asteras wasn't a huge for me either, due to the match's risk I bet a smaller amount than I was anticipating, but it was still a nice profit. As for AEK vs. Atromitos, I ultimately didn't take part in, and for a perfectly good reason as you've pointed out. The match almost ended in a tie and it would have if AEK didn't score the second goal literally in the last minute, during the extra time. This goes along way to show that these low odds matches that look like "guaranteed money" might not end up how we're anticipating.

As I mentioned in a previous reply, today's matches were quite unbalanced; the majority of them featured a dominant team, such as Panathinaikos, vs a lesser one, such as Volos or Lamia. I am honestly surprised with Levadiakos vs. Aris, though; scoring four goals was extremely unpredictable from Levadiakos. Aris is in 5th place in the Greek Super League standings while Levadiakos is in 10th place, with a difference of 13 points. This match was the most unpredictable of all this weekend.

I didn't watch the majority of the games either, except Aris vs. Levadiakos, which is the only one I considered as a riskier option. The rest were pretty straightforward and I highly doubted I was going to lose any of them. If I'm being honest, apart from OFI vs. Asteras and Aris vs. Levadiakos, the rest of the games were quite uninteresting, they were unbalanced for the most part which played a significant role in that, but I can't really say I enjoyed this weekend's matches. Perhaps the upcoming weekend has better options, it's still Monday and I haven't bothered to check yet.

But that's something that is done in almost every league. The Big 5, 6, 7 max teams take the best youngest, the "wonderkids", they loan them out to the other teams and after their loan spell, either sell them elsewhere or use them in their team. I'm not fan of it at all, but it is what it is.

Perhaps the upcoming weekend has better options, it's still Monday and I haven't bothered to check yet.

Well, I take the initiative to post the next matchday schedule. Two more to go for getting into playoffs mode. Three matches for Saturday without anything special but on Sunday we have a derby between Olympiakos vs PAOK. So, we will have for sure a more intriguing weekend.

Yes, but i was not refering to the fact of that happening the sad part is they are only 14 teams in first division, and that is to not have "weak" teams in the superleague, but as we see still having weak teams despite of being a few.

Yes, I get your point, and is fair. I guess that this is something that they will need to consider soon. Maybe a better distribution of the money that they earn as a league, maybe some restrictions to the biggest teams in terms of loaning players, I don't know. The thing is that all the leagues have the same problem. It's very difficult for the medium-lower level teams to keep the same squad even for a whole season.
