I don't know what makes you so pessimistic when we haven't even entered bull season yet and Bitcoin hit a new ATH before the correction happened.

I have no guarantees for you because as you know, bitcoin is unpredictable. But I believe that with catalysts such as the 4-year cycle still repeating, the impact from ETFs, the US election and especially the Fed's easing interest rate policy will stimulate the economy to recover and enter a new growth cycle...I believe all of these factors add up to not just a bull market but the super cycle that many have been talking about. Although I haven't seen many people mention this lately as the bitcoin price correction has dragged on for the past few months  .

My goal is not just $100,000, I even believe $150,000 is a completely achievable goal this cycle. Let's wait and see what happens.

The future is unpredictable, history may repeat itself or never repeat itself. The only thing we can do now is hope and we have no proof so don't rush to make any claims or assertions.
Another scenario is: when everyone knows about the 4-year cycle and everyone is waiting to take profits, then most likely it will not happen and a new cycle will be created.
I don't want to discourage you or be pessimistic but we need to be a little realistic, we should have a contingency plan for the worst case scenario because anything can happen. Personally I also expect history to repeat itself again but I won't be so subjective without a backup plan.

I am seeing the good impact of it. To be honest, for this cycle, it is the ETFs that are going to push more of the prices. And it's one of the reasons why Bitcoin has reached its new ATH even before the halving.

It's okay to expect this time when you are an early investor. Most of the holders that have been holding for years are still aiming for some specific prices. But it's fine if it won't be reached because we all have just to move on.

The way I see it, the bull market is not over yet and it doesn't matter whether we'll go parabolic in 2024 or 2025. What matters is that it will happen anyway. I don't believe that a bull market will be cancelled. Halvings are still happening and they are going to keep initiating bull markets whether some bears like it or not. Regardless if there are negative events in the market that are quite inevitable, but we shouldn't be too much carried away to the point of never expect a price increase. Of course, bitcoin is still into developments that would bring such price progress as well, and that price increase every year is already highly anticipated.

I'm still having high hopes that we will get to achieve $100k by next year. It could be at the last quarter since the prior quarters would be establishing its price first so that there could be a possible high price increase that would lead us to its new ATH then.

Invest the amount that we can afford, but it is not just a simple saying; it is better to invest in a project that we trust because even though we can spend more than the amount we can afford to lose, we remain calm and positive as we are confident enough that we will never lose in the end. All we need is to be patient and hold on as much as possible. And even if it fails to reach $100k, I am certain that we will still make a good profit when ATH comes. Since we take risks doing this, why should we limit it? It has no difference from investing in other forms of investment, as it is all risky.

Coming to the current time, the price of Bitcoin is at 64000$ at the end of August 2024, we have seen the price of Bitcoin dumped and went down some time ago, but now Bitcoin has started the bull run again and slowly started pumping the price of Bitcoin. I'm not optimistic about the impact of ETFs. ETFs make BTC more dependent on the stock market. It's also more volatile than before. I hate to say it, but the growth of bitcoin doesn't seem organic. We're growing based on the US stock market. But, ETFs add liquidity and support us during big dumps. It gives more stability.

I do agree that bitcoin reaching the new ATH will be opening the door for too many things, I think it's going to cause a lot of trouble for a lot of people as well, and it will end up with unknown levels that will be possible. Which we will use to our advantage, we are going to make it possible for us to decide on where we want to end next up.

This is why we need to consider that we are going to see something changing, we need to make it as great as possible meaning if we reach 75k, then it means we can stop at 100k, or could stop at 150k, we do not know. This is the hype, because nobody knows where we are going to stop and because they do not know where we are going to end, they end up trusting it more and more, thinking that it will go up a lot more and because of that they keep on buying more and more. Everything is possible at this point, I remember back then when I was new here, they said that $5k is the highest that we can get. And this is 2017, and we all know that it went as high as $20k during that bull run.

And so with that kind of mindset, we should really think that maybe $100k-$150k can be achieved who knows. While there is a possibility that it may not repeat itself, what is better, investing based on what the history has shown us and have data to back that up, or investing based on "what if it doesn't happen this time"? I think it's clear that people prefer to do what they want to do. But, if you are right and the history doesn't repeat itself then we are going to see a down and a ton of people losing money, so I definitely hope that we are right and you are wrong.

Despite of some btc price struggles, I'm still on the side that hopes to see bitcoin price reaching $100k, it may not happen early next year but it might probably happen by the end of the year. However, if the year end price this year will only be $65k or below $70k, then I have to reduce my expectation and make it $80k-$85k instead by next year.
