It wouldn't make sense to say anything if he just started his journey, he can only prove a point in front of his parents if his investments start to earn him money because only that will make them believe Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies aren't scams but they are an industry where one can invest and earn money if they know what they are doing.

Parents will never discourage their children, so they were probably not trying to do that but they tend to get concerned and if they have traditional beliefs, it will take time for them to understand what these new things mean and how they work because they have never heard or seen of anything such as Bitcoin in their entire lives before.

Relax my friend, this is only temporary due to differences in assumptions from several general views previously announced by Mr. Powell on the decision to cut interest rates. I think things will turn around quickly and many will smile sweetly in the next few days. Hopefully the situation will be more positive in the future.

I'd be more worried about parents getting overly exposed to risky investments like crypto.

My parents never believed in this and didn't support me. I understand them because this isn't their era, and they thought all of it was a scam. They never wanted to support me in investing, but I understand and don't hold it against them. Now that I’m 18 and have a fair amount of money from my salary, I’m directing it towards Bitcoin investment, and other investing projects.

Maybe this story won’t make sense to everyone, but I want to see if they were right—that without

Cases like this happen a lot and most parents do not support when a child is involved in crypto investment. But that doesn't matter as long as we can continue to be consistent and when we have achieved success, we can explain why taking opportunities in crypto to increase financial freedom. Without proof of success, it will be much more difficult to convince parents because maybe in their time, investment in crypto did not exist so they had no view of the pattern or how to invest in crypto.

Exactly, and even in my place, the majority of 18-year-olds are still students and it is rare for them to be able to do activities like people who are married. Usually our parents are a bit dominant in anything and they only protect us so that the path that is being run is attempted to be completed one by one, if they are old enough, then they are supported. But, I see that OP has a fairly broad understanding in reading opportunities and potential at that time.

You're right because some parents only believe in show working that's to say try to believe when they see the positive impact of what you're saying but if he tells them about it when he's just starting they might still say some discouraging words to him. Some parents can only agree with you just to let you go ahead with whatever you feel like doing after every explanation and evidence that Bitcoin isn't a scam, it goes two ways. Convincing parents on such a thing is very difficult and you sometimes wish you never told them.

In some situation the parents can even support the child with little funds to start up his investment on Bitcoin because when it goes well for the child he'll be happy to share the good news that's if he learns from a better hand who have more experience in the crypto world.

We all know Bitcoin is risky so if you want to earn profit by investing in Bitcoin you must hold for long time. If you can't hold for a long time, you may face loss instead of profit. Now if someone takes money from his parents and invests in bitcoins and if his parents ask him to return the money, how can he return the money if he is making a loss on the investment? So it is not mandatory to convince parents about Bitcoin. If you invest with your own income, no one will stop you. Not all young people get the chance to succeed at a young age and maybe encouragement is needed so that they become more focused. I see some teenagers who are successful in content creation and they can make so much money at a fairly young age. But the problem is they don't have a long-term view with the money from the results so that their lives are just for fun. In fact, if the young person has a long-term view, using the money to invest in bitcoin will be more profitable.

Very few young people can focus well on accumulating their wealth at a young age and also often we see young people after being able to make a large amount of money as you mentioned they will first think about their lifestyle and very rarely think about investing for their future and I think that is very natural because they are young.  But they also need to think about their future and if there is something that directs them to be able to invest for their future and if they choose to invest in Bitcoin of course this will be very profitable for them in the future.

This goes beyond that, most of the time bitcoin is promoted as a fast way to earn money by those that present it to other people, so they become wary as that is the way most scams are promoted and they cannot help themselves to become skeptical about it, which is understandable but it is also their loss, since bitcoin has been one of the assets with the highest growth during the last decade, and while we cannot expect the same kind of growth to happen, the performance bitcoin will have during the upcoming years will still be great.
