let's talk about Shrimps, fishes, Dolphins and whales when it comes to Bitcoin, and how a player can navigate the following levels,
As we all know shrimp is an individual that holds a small amount of Bitcoin mostly between (0.01- 0.1 BTC).

Then a fish is an individual that holds also a small amount of Bitcoin mostly from (0.1-1 BTC)

We also know a dolphin to be a player with (1-10 BTC)

And then a whale with over 1000btc.

To navigate these different levels from shrimp to whale there are different habits and actions an individual needs to put into practice which includes.

1. Shrimp

This is actually the starting stage of it, where the individual starts small with tiny Amount,  this stage also requires the player to learn and educate himself and then set goals he wants to achieve.

2.  Fish
This stage requires increasing your investment in Bitcoin and even other coins so as to gather profits and invest it back in Bitcoin,  also educating oneself About market trends and developments.

3. Dolphin
With all the knowledge and coins you have gathered from previous stage , you just need consistency in this stage, regularly investing and holding unto your Bitcoin, it also requires patience and you don't rush into selling your coin because of market fluctuations, and also engaging in Bitcoin communities where you communicate and learn from others.

4. Whale:
This level requires long term investment and commitment, holding onto your Bitcoin for years, and also making investments based on market analysis, without greed.

Well this don't actually matters that much , well just have to try and build yah bitcoin investment, and same time gather more knowledge in order to secure a smooth investment. Because a good investment can't be build over night but will take time , and consistency for one to get there .

Well to me whale are those who , have alot of funds , and most whales do manipulate the market . But if you wanna see most whales are those that are fully into bitcoin investment (holding) , because some whales usually involves themselves in pumb and dump scheme, because once they purchase the price will increase and other small investors will Start diving in which may lead to the coin surging more and after the whale have gain a certain amount of money he or she will sell a big dumb will follow making those that enter at the peak to be in losses that's we always advice folks to stay far from such projects.

Not every whales is in the business of long term investment unlike Micheal saylor some whales are in the business of buying and selling, using their financial strength in the market as a result of their deep bags to manipulate and influence the course of price.

And I am of the opinion that one don't necessarily need so much lengthy time to stay on investment before turning whale, it's a factor of how much you're worth and willing to push into the market as your portfolio and it could be at once. I will advice that everyone just know where they can fit in best and make profit from their investment rather than wanting to climb steps to becoming a whale.

The hierarchy of an investor doesn't really matter that much in ones Bitcoin investments journey.  Getting up to 0.1 BTC which according to your arrangement is the Lowest hierarchy is a feet that very few individual can succeed in getting to most expecially if you're buying Bitcoin and your direct source of even earning it doesn't account to a great percentage of your accumilation.

For you to get 0.1BTC if we assume that Bitcoin price is at $60k, you should have bought or earned a commutative Bitcoin of $6000. Even if you're involved in a sig campaign on the forum and you still do your regular buy and you're able to buy $200 worth of Bitcoin every month, it will take at least three yeaes to get 0.1BTC and we know it's not even easy to buy $200 Bitcoin every month most expecially in this our present economy where it's almost like most people are eating from hands to mouth.

Aiming to grow your Bitcoin to as much as 1-10BTC is not an unrealistic plan most expecially if you're ready to take it as a long term plan but it should never be that you're all too focused at getting to that stage by all means. It's best to take your time and consistently buy the amount you're capable of buying based on how much you're earning.

Periodically everyone have their perspective of view and while we considers the systematic level of Bitcoin accumulators, it would be certained that there are actually whales who uphold large quantity amounts of Bitcoin hence the values of Bitcoin has not been so globally appreciated and has not been so attracted to adopted by which it has gained treasuring influences as todays.

This is not the first time I am coming across this post in this forum although it seems to have been discussed in the bitcoin discussion section with more graphic and explanation, i could had commented here but was actually searching for the post i can't really recall the title of that topic or thread. But however, let me delve into the topic of discussion..

As you know Shrimps are like newbie investors they jump from wall to wall or from one side of the market to another with no or little panic in that water (market), immediately such happens they don't mind dumping seriously to save their heads because they are afraid of being caught in mid way.

Then the Fish as you may have explained it are people who has passed a little bit becoming a newbie, like they had more fate and believe that no market condition would make them drank so easily and they must survive any amount of water current and waves that seems to pull them out from their usual operation.

Dolphin as the implies shows that these sets of people are actually more relaxed than those who are classified as fishes but they are colorful in what they are doing, therefore they don't easily comes out from the water no matter any wave or water current that may seems to have stirred up the water instead they would just bring out their heads and breath then sink back again or possible they felt like they needs fresh air then dip down again. Meaning this people don't easily sell off their holding except they had a pressing need that either requires an urgent attention to be solved.

Now, the Whales to me this people are also called the trouble maker why? To me they naturally comes out of water to scare people away(traders) while coming, and if you aren't that mindful or careful you could get sunk into the ocean or sea, but most importantly provided you have self trusted and having a nice ship ( trading experience) to sail on then you won't sink so easily they just panic for no reason and if you don't careful control yourself you got drown by putting that fear in you. This means that when you are holding bitcoin and you witness any huge dump you don't have to immediately rush to dump your coin instead those dump are being created by the whales to have their bags filled from little investors and traders, and immediately it's filled you would see that the market would stabilized again by then you had end up selling your long holding bitcoin in your possessions.

The important keys is that you must always understand how the market works to avoid being cut off from the routs where you should be, and you must defined your investment plans and where you should be. One can't be a Shrimps and expect to acts as Whales, at least it's gradual and then you could turned to whales but you can't compered yourself to the other without you having to get that level of investment.

Whales on the other hand are those who have lots of money and provide enough liquidity in the crypto markets, they can also be attributed to early adopters of the said cryptocurrency, for example in bitcoin, People like Satoshi, Theymos, JayJuanGee and others that adopted bitcoin early in the days and are holding till date can be described as whales in bitcoin, also other companies that has bought significant quantity like Grayscale who handles Grayscale bitcoin trust, Tesla, MicroStrategy are considered whales.

Countries that acquired Bitcoin like ElSavador that has approximately 2200 bitcoins or more are also considered whales.

Furthermore, big exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, Kucoin and others holds significant amounts of different cryptocurrencies in their reserves for trading in their platforms, they are still whales.

Whales control the market and are trusted by people to have more genuine information about the progress of each coin they hold, whenever a whale starts selling, it can trigger panic sell in the people who are monitoring their activities and the price of such cryptocurrency starts dwindling, also when a whale buy, more people buys significantly and there is a pump in the price. so the whales are the bosses of any coin they hold.

When you been hear Invest with your discretionary income and amounts you fit afford to loose, you think say na joke?, me sef no fit use money wey I reserve for emergency purposes take buy bitcoin since em fit dey for loss when I go need am, so na the one I no get plan to use for some time naim I dey use buy.

Well, though a whale is also a long term investors of the market, but I won't put it that way. Whales are big movers. They are large investors who holds a very large portion of a coin. In Bitcoin we have sometimes seen some whales move huge amounts of BTC to different addresses. These address might have been dominant for years but then a sudden move to another address. It still requires time and patience, I'll agree with you on that. But then starters, you don't have to worry your self that much about being a whale or fish and many as you mentioned. Just buy your BTC and hold for the long term. Continue accumulating during dips or using dca and with time when the market pays off, you will also enjoy from the profits of holding.
