So, how much would you need to buy the current dip and which reason is worth the risk if asked?
It's not about how much I want, but how much I have. If I have enough budget to buy 1 bitcoin on a downturn, then I would consider buying it in 2 to 3 tranches. This approach is called DCA so that I can anticipate another decline while the downward trend is still maintained.

Would you borrow, diversify or sell some assets inorder to buy Bitcoin dip, because of future profitable prospects?
No, I will not borrow to buy bitcoin. Of course, I have been doing diversification for a long time, so I don't just have one investment asset. I also wouldn't sell gold, land or other assets just because I wanted to buy bitcoin on a dip. Even though the long-term prospects are good, I never force myself to invest when I don't have an additional budget that I think is safe.

Is buying Bitcoin dip worth the risk for you as a Bitcoin investor or trader ?
Of course, buying into the current dip is well worth the risk. But you must have other safe budgets besides just having bitcoin in your portfolio.

Would you borrow, diversify or sell some assets inorder to buy Bitcoin dip, because of future profitable prospects?
Just because you have a plan to invest in the Bitcoin price dip should not be a reason for you to consider borrowing money. Borrowing money should be the last thing you consider whenever you think of a way to raise money for any important endeavor, especially something like investing. If you must sell off items, sell off liabilities, or sell items that you no longer need because there are people who need items you don't need, take it that you are decluttering and making gain from it.

Is buying Bitcoin dip worth the risk for you as a Bitcoin investor or trader ?
Borrowing is not a worth it thing to do if the purpose is to invest because after all even though it is allowed and no one will prohibit it but in my opinion this is a coercion where we are too forced to do various ways just because we want to invest which can make your condition not too good because indeed by borrowing like this and being used to invest then indirectly we must realize that in the end this only complicates our own financial situation.

Disverification is also not something that needs to be made as an urgent matter because even though we are aware that there is a term that it is not good to keep eggs in one basket but in the end when the money we have is not sufficient for disverification it will only make your focus distracted and the investment made will not run properly.

Simply invest as reasonable and as much as we can because after all it is not too good if we are too imposing a will that we cannot afford as a risk in the future so that even though investment is a good thing and worth thinking about but still this must be based on the abilities we have in the end.

Is buying Bitcoin dip worth the risk for you as a Bitcoin investor or trader ?

The only risk I see with buying the dip is if you are a short term trader or investor you should be wary of the dip sometimes, some of this dips usually take longer to recover. With the aim of holding for a very long term you don’t have the fear of whether the market takes longer time to recover or not.

Firstly, the investment-wise tip in the cryptocurrency market is to invest when there is blood on the street but that does not mean we should be greedy of buying the current market dip because it's a one-in-million opportunity.
Having said that, I can borrow funds to invest in this current dip but it will only be the amount I can afford and I can also sell an asset either due to the future benefit of buying this current dip.

Borrowing funds or even selling of assets to invest is never the best option of generating funds to invest into cryptocurrency. This is two fundraising methods actually keeps you at a very tight angle of wanting the investment to yield profits fast. The key principle to invest in bitcoin is having patience but I don’t think anyone who invested using both strategies will be able to be that patient during dips.

Is buying Bitcoin dip worth the risk for you as a Bitcoin investor or trader ?

What I have learned these past years in Bitcoin, is that buying any quantity will bring you profit at the end, in short term or long term, when the price is cheap enough for you and your capacity it means a chance for you. I also believe that if you have a good understanding in this industry and believe in Bitcoin, means even buying from this point and price, then the price goes down and reaches lower levels, it won’t really matter because you believe that in long term it will reach higher levels and your profits will be there sooner or later.

This dip in my opinion is a great chance for both long term and short term traders, purchasing Bitcoin any time is a great investment for me. Believe it or not, whenever I see Bitcoin in my wallet I feel happy regardless its price.

So, how much would you need to buy the current dip and which reason is worth the risk if asked?
I have been holding bitcoin for some time, and whenever I have any extra money that I won’t be using, then I do use it to accumulate more bitcoin, even if it’s a small amount. I don’t always wait till their is dip before I buy, but whenever there is blood in the market and I have money with me, then I do take advantage of it. I don’t even see it as taking a risk because my investment plan is for the long term, so I see it as my normal activity. And I don’t think there is any specific amount that we are supposed to use in accumulating coins during the bear market, invest with what you can afford to lose.

Would you borrow, diversify or sell some assets inorder to buy Bitcoin dip, because of future profitable prospects?
I don’t borrow to invest in bitcoin, and I don’t sell my properties to invest in bitcoin, I invest with extra money that I have left with me, and I don’t encourage anyone to take a loan to invest in or sell their assets just because they want to invest in bitcoin.

Is buying Bitcoin dip worth the risk for you as a Bitcoin investor or trader ?
I have been in crypto space for years, and I have seen the way bitcoin have been growing, so buying the dip is just the best, whenever there is dip, don’t lose the opportunity.

There isnt much of a bitcoin dip, I didnt sell all my bitcoins yet, I assumed it would reach at $100K at least a few months ago. I think most people are going to want to buy if it goes under $50K and somewhere in the $40Ks range which is where the BTC ETFs were launched at.

Honestly its best to be patient and wait. Remember when FTX scandal gave everyone a chance to buy at $16K. I dont think we will ever head to that price anytime soon but who knows, maybe $30K's is possible with a recession and a Kamala winning the election. Stranger things have happened before.

Who said there's a Bitcoin dip right now? We can't know that now, but in the future we can look back and say what happened. I think there is no reason for Bitcoin to go up or down in the short term. If you think long term, Bitcoin is almost certain to go up, so I'm increasing my coin count regardless of the price. Right now, I'm not really interested in whether it's bottoming or not. If it goes down, I'm happy that I can buy more coins, and if it goes up, I'm happy that my holdings are appreciating. Smiley

Is buying Bitcoin dip worth the risk for you as a Bitcoin investor or trader ?

You need to understand that if you take the risk, then only you will get the reward. Without trying, you can’t make money from anything. Moreover, if it’s about Bitcoins, then do all the possible things and try to buy the coins. You are getting an opportunity to buy these expensive coins cheaply; hence, buy as many as you can. Bitcoins have always shown a significant increase in 4 years tenure; hence, buy and hold it for good time. I am sure you will see a great amount of profit in the future.
Bitcoin has always been a risky investment, regardless if we buy during bearish or bullish due to its high volatility. So this is not new anymore.

However, buying at this dip is really a big opportunity. Luckily, I still have spare money left on my wallet, just in time for this dip. So I would definitely buy bitcoin as much as I can, and hold it until it reaches my target price to sell, that way I will end up reaping huge returns in the future. Patience is the only key, and of course by taking risk investing in bitcoin.

It's not the question if you have enough to buy, it's the question if you have enough left to hold it until it appreciate which may take a decade or more.
Definitely. It's important to note that while hastening to buy the dip, you need to be wise enough to have some savings which won't require you touching your Bitcoin investment that is why you often hear that Bitcoin investment is entered with an amount which can be easily forgotten Incase things go south. Some people get greedy and try to put in majority of their savings into investment and barely have enough to survive off from and that is why you see them hurrying to sell the moment a temporary increase in price occurs.

So, how much would you need to buy the current dip and which reason is worth the risk if asked?

If you ask me, I'll have to wait and watch the direction of the market, it's not the dip yet, in the next quarter there could be a slight move in market price. It's too early to buy the dip, that's if we are headed to that line, the price could further drop.

It depends on the person if that person wants to buy more or not. When a person wants to invest, many people ask that person if he/she is willing to take the risk or not so if a person is willing then he/she will surely buy more bitcoin during the dip but it also depends on if that person does have more money to buy bitcoin during this dip. Let's say I am, I do want to buy more bitcoin but I don't have extra cash to buy so that's all what I can do which is to wait for the price to increase or when I have available/more cash earned to buy during the dip. It all depends from different person's decision and willingness to take the risk.

So, how much would you need to buy the current dip and which reason is worth the risk if asked?
That depends on how much you are ready to invest. The amount of investment that we should use for buying Bitcoin should be dependent on how much we're capable of buying at this time. And about risk? they've always been worth it mostly for the long term of holding.

Would you borrow, diversify or sell some assets inorder to buy Bitcoin dip, because of future profitable prospects?
First, I won't borrow to invest in Bitcoin. It's never been suggested doing this and I have never done such. I've seen someone do this and they have been down in losses and were not able to recover. Secondly, it's fine to sell some assets of yours and liquidate them so that you can buy Bitcoin. This should be the strategy that everybody should do so, there's no interest that you'll be obliged to buy and you won't be pressured to pay someone off while you're invested.

I understand that bitcoin investment is highly profitable. But my point is, bitcoin investment is already risky itself, so I won’t add more risk to it by taking a loan or selling some of my profitable assets and convert it into bitcoin. I’ll just stick to the basic invest what you can afford to lose. If you have nothing to invest, then save first or find a side job to sustain your investment. Buying in dips is never a do or die. There are still more dips and buying opportunities to come in the market, so don’t be too hard by pushing yourself to invest when you know the current situation never allow to.

It's not the question if you have enough to buy, it's the question if you have enough left to hold it until it appreciate which may take a decade or more.

A decade? Where did you get that from?  This may be true for some other asset types, like gold for example, but Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general are much more volatile then that.  While its true that it could take a long time for Bitcoin to appreciate, its equally possible that it could skyrocket in value tomorrow. The point is, no one knows for sure.

I think the real question is not whether you can afford to buy Bitcoin, but whether you are willing to take the risk.  If you are not comfortable with the risk, then its probably not a good investment for you.

10 years is highly optimistic for Bitcoin, I doubt it will ever reach $100k evaluation due to competition eating it's utility market.

You may still earn a lot from it's volatility but you must time the market right which is close to impossible without a large team.

At this point you may as well buy Doge.

I'd say Bitcoin will soon drop, significantly.

You need to remember that the entire crypto market depends on bitcoin, if you are not optimistic and think that bitcoin cannot continue to grow, cannot reach $100k then the rest of the market will gradually disappear including Doge.

What competitor are you talking about that is undermining bitcoin's utility and preventing it from continuing to grow? So far, Bitcoin has virtually no competitors because it is the only decentralized asset.

By the way, I see Elon shill Doge again but maybe his magic doesn't work on Doge anymore since Bitcoin is still in the correction phase. Speculating on doge is fun but it's just a meme and hyped by Elon, it can't compare to bitcoin.

I'm sure there are lots of investors who take this dip as a great opportunity to gain more exposure. So while others may be selling at a loss or selling with panic, the wiser among use have been silently filling their wallets as much as they can.

There's no right amount. As always, buy only what you can afford to lose or what you can afford to risk. There's not much reason needed. Bitcoin will be above its price now sooner or later. That's enough for investors to take the risk.

As for me, no more buying. I'm just hodling. I won't borrow to buy more either. I'm working for a few Sats I'm willing to hodl though.

This often happens and is something that will always exist in this industry, panic selling with minimal profit or even selling at a loss. And this usually only happens to beginners who have minimal or no experience at all which will affect their psychology. And that is what makes the market volatile because there is no perfect coin, but for Bitcoin this moment is the right moment for investors to make purchases, especially investors who are already big and also have a lot of experience. But for me, I will take advantage of this moment to make purchases in stages at the right time according to my ability using cold money. And I also advise some friends or close people not to use important money and especially borrowed money, because it is very risky. And I also only rely on money from my work after I prioritize important needs, and that too in a small amount and maybe I will add it when I get a bonus or get unexpected money.

No, not in my case, I always have cash for emergencies and in case I foresee a large purchase in the near future but not to buy in the downturns because I do DCA and I do not complicate.

It is odd that the OP asks this question because although this is a dip, it is nothing compared to the drop to $17K we had last cycle. If someone was saving cash for dips, that was the best time to spend it all.

But the problem with that strategy is that you're trying to time the market and you don't really know when the dips start and when they end.

The drop to $17,000 started with a drop of about $65,000 that went down to $45,000 and back up again. The person holding the money had to choose between spending it all, thinking it was the only dip and the price would go back up, or not spending it all, thinking it would go down. And so on and so forth.

It has been amply demonstrated that trying to time the market is a bad strategy.

A long-term investment plan will run perfectly when you are able to maintain an investment strategy by using money that you can afford to lose or money that you do not use for other purposes in the short term. Borrowing money from a third party for an investment plan is not the best strategy in my opinion, unless you are able to pay it back on time without disrupting your investment plan.

Buying at a low price and selling at a high price is the real goal in investing, some investors want to take advantage of falling prices but do not have the funds to accumulate, at times like this selling some assets to buy Bitcoin is better than borrowing money from other parties. Buying Bitcoin when the price drops is the most awaited moment for most investors, they will take advantage of this opportunity to accumulate when the price is low, the very profitable future prospects have formed the mentality of investors to bear any risks that may occur.

Bitcoin is NOT the only decentralized project... get off your high horse, his been smoking too much meth.

Bitcoin is not as impacting on other project price as it was in the past, some projects are going up when Bitcoin goes down.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5499690.msg64498097#msg64498097

For the last 6 months Bitcoin is going down:

https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/BTCUSD/
https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/XMRUSD/

It's glory has ended due to losing everyday utility ground, there's just no reason to go back to Bitcoin when you go to Monero, try it for yourself.
As a Bitcoin holder you will disagree even to this facts, you will point at the older price history to claim it's better store of value and that it's only temporary.
It's over for Bitcoin, it had it's time but it just didn't meet the demands for digital cash.

Mark my words or sink with the rest on this Titanic.

Do not advertise gambling, it's a cancer.
