Putin and all leaders need the same things as everyone else, food, minerals and power.
Every nation has human needs and human weaknesses. We are all born here and we are human with our human weaknesses, it is not our fault that we have needs and sometimes we behave badly.
None of us is an angel or a saint, it's just that Putin does not hide the fact that he acts in his own interests and, if necessary, attacks to protect his interests and the nation. The West itself also needs the same things, but it says that it will bring democracy and it does not need food, power, mineral resources or anything else, it lives of air and love lol and does everything only out of goodness and justice created by itself.
Then the difference is that everyone is the same, but some are better at hiding all this and making propaganda through the media. Putin and others don't want to waste time on this matter, because everyone's masks come off one day anyway.
Just as Tony Montana said in the movie scraface "you not good you just know how to hide it" and the rest of the masses still believe those who speak nicer things. That's why slick polite people who wear a nice jacket have poorer, less educated people who do bad things for them, and then they can be so-called saints and respected characters.

So Putin If want better reputation should use instead of direct invasion of ukraine some proxy country or proxy state and same time running some russian media channel wich be talking daily how good person is Putin and russia and If that story is repeated enough then people will belive this and russia can keep invading ukraine but not directly only providing financial help and weapons and russian satelite navigation.
If Putin would do it this way then no matter what you do it but If you hide it and use media to talk nice that you don't do invason you bring democratia and freedom then WORLD Will say wow russia is really good they bring democratic values and they not interested of any the resourcoures or land lol 😂 

So when other countries was invading some lybia or african nations then it wasn't in any of the news.
So you can do but don't show to world you are bad and better have others who do dirty work for you while you stay clean...perhaps western countries don't like the way If anyone do bad things they say it out loud lol that's not how we do things in this world we can do but we have hide it nicely just accidentaly the jeffery Epstein case leaked out then probably the Epstein killed for the reason that people would not think some well know respected and good people can really behave bad.
Another example; look at the Lindsey Graham lol 😁 the guy look like saint or good guy but he told to zelensky that USA needs the minerals lol 😂

The world is like this let the lower class with lower education and poor ones will just sacrafice themselfes and those well known respected good guys can speak about how good they are and how much good they want do it the world in the name of " justice peace and democratic motivations." 

So what's the mistake of Putin is that he actually shows he the bad guy lol 😂....If Putin would act like everyone else then he would be in the CLUB of the WOLD ELITE.
The most powerful tools are media and news If you control media and news you can make people to think about everything you want.

Putin is an individual who doesn't have to pretend nor accept irrelevant tolerances.
We all know the international diplomacies by which Russian government is being played in globally and are also being economical and political global contributing.

I only think that the World today in the media is criticizing Putin because he has refused to be bent by the US and the US government assumes him (Putin) to be a future threat for them u like how the US has succeedingly taking whole control in so many countries.

Putin is being boosted with because he knows his rights and because he has only been maintaining his  lines by using his political influence to protect his country within the geographical tussles. That has made the US being unable to charge him of offensive outbreaks.

We are all humans with mental touches and when we are to defend ourselves among others in a gathering, they assumes we are thwarting orders but then, let me live it to say... Some persons just want to hold the world ransom like they creates humans like the robots.

The title of the topic is misleading because it refers to the orientations of political leaders in general, while the core of the topic addresses Putin exclusively.

In response to the two points, I can say that:
- Putin leads Russia according to an integrated strategic vision in harmony with Russia's post-Soviet policy, and therefore Putin's vision cannot be separated from the Kremlin's orientations, whether at the military geopolitical or political economic level. An example is the Ukrainian war, which enabled Russia to expand its territory to include areas of Ukraine, in addition to establishing new alliances in the face of major regional and international powers.
- As for Putin's example, it does not apply to other presidents, especially those types of leaders whose main goal is to maintain the leadership seat even at the expense of the interests of their people. They are deviant criminals in the form of leaders who derive their strength from military support or from external powers whose interest is to keep the country ruled by dictatorship. We have many examples in Arab countries, such as Sudan, which is going through a war of extermination led by factions of the army fighting among themselves over who is more deserving of leading the country.

No responsible father will sit and watch his children get killed by those who hate them. Putin simply acted the role of a father by going into the lions den to save his children from the clutches of vicious beasts.

It's not really about democracy, it's about a plan to take over countries and have complete control over them. They do this subtly until the whole world is under their power. Well, the entity that does this uses whoever or whatever works for him, whether democrat, republican, socialist, communist, capitalist, etc. Whatever model works well for the entity, he uses. Alots of time he allows people to compete amongst themselves based on their ideologies or beliefs to see which one works best for his agenda, then he uses that one to rule or control the rest. It's the game theory practiced on a large scale. It also happens on small scale like family, community, forum, country, etc. People will basically betray, kill, cheat scheme against each other to survive or win.

A different dimension into this will bring you to the usual territorial dominance that is inherent in almost every human especially with males, a larger scale of it is what plays out in the political domain where these Men want to stay superior by all means, the systems understands that there's this inherent nature of man if not controlled could get chaotic and that's where the rules and laws comes in, now follow me closely, putting is a Man who understands the concept of dominance and been protective, infact I see all he's doing as mainly protection for his people and his territory but because it's not a very liberal one that is at some point not civil or democratic enough, most persons definitely see issues with it because they want to in a way get benefits from the system which the steefness in the system isn't allowing them have their way.

They’re all corrupt, none of them can be trusted but we have to try & vote for the ones who are least corrupt or even the ones whose policies make our every day lives better. We often don’t have great choices but sadly that’s life. I try not to be consumed by negativity & politics. Work hard, enjoy family life & try to ignore things that we can’t control.
