Usually, these services ask for an upfront fee, and once they receive it, they disappear without a trace. I get that investors or holders who've lost their crypto assets might be desperate after their wallets were compromised, and that makes them vulnerable, but they should still do their research first. If there's an actual office, it's better to visit and check the legalities.

Not all crypto recovery services are scams, but legit ones are rare.

Why on earth should anyone even trust any random person they meet online promising to recover lost funds for them and return same to them. Why? It beats any sense of reasoning for me. It's supposed to be a glaring warning that a fraud/scam is around the corner but then people hardly see it from that angle. I guess it's desperation of getting what they've lost that makes people think some integrity exists online when financial issues are concerned. In reality, the said recovery services in most cases cost more than what's intended to be recovered. There's also the time wasting side of it. A candid opinion for me will be that once it's lost, it's lost. No further struggle of trying to recover it.

The cunning and deceit of these scammers, their appearance of being more experienced and more sympathetic towards newcomers in this field, and their false promises to them are what give them a false glimmer of hope. They may even deceive them through some false positive reviews and feedback about their company to persuade these innocent victims to trust them, making them believe they are reputable and have a track record of successful experiences with previous clients.  The matter does not stop at the cost of these scam crypto recovery services; they may also hack into their devices using malicious software or harmful links.

They may believe that this victim will do the impossible to recover his lost assets through them, possibly taking out a loan, selling a property, or assuming the victim has more money to pay them. Looking at these scammers, they lack mercy, humanity, and morals. They are driven by greed and money-hungry and have no regard for the harm they may cause to their victims. Their primary focues is on their own self-interest. Indeed, they are despicable people.

I mean it's common sense and those who are scammed, try any method to get back their money but it's impossible as Blockchain cannot be reverted back nor your transactions.
It's hard to find out the person who is responsible for scamming you and how he's going to launder the money he stole from you, so these services are also part of the big circle.

A lot are ignorant and they don't want to learn or are not even ready to learn, research makes everything easy but they just want to learn all they want to do is to do things on assumptions that is they are acting on their own knowledge and their is no case thay you can get your crypto back in any way and their are several warnings about taking your security seriously but people enjoy doing things recklessly just because they assume their actions don't have consequences.

It's always and offer and that is why they are always falling victim because they know that this things is to true to be but they will still want to give it a trial and that is when they get deceived and they fall for the scammers scheme which is very painful because you know how you work hard just for you to get what you have now. If you refuse to learn then you learn the hard way.

It's just sad that many are desperate trying to claim that they've got some crypto or bitcoin in the past and there are these frauds and scammers telling that they can still do that for them with a handful fee.

Like I always say, if you failed your responsibility to secure your assets properly, you have no business with recovery agent unless you are ready to lose more. It's painful losing your assets to scammers and many will likely be desperate to recover it even thou some of them are not longer newbie to system and are aware that recovery service is almost impossible. This is why risk management is highly necessary and recommended in your investment. Do responsible investment and be security conscious.

 I had encountered with some of them when I lost my asset to one platform and you are likely to be convinced that they are real and genuine unless you are also smart enough. They will first of all ask you to pay consultancy fee before they begin their work. Staying away from anything recovery is the best practice in my opinion.

Many will still doubt that those offering recovery services are scammers because they might have read or heard some testimonies from people who claim they have successfully recovered their bitcoins after it was stolen. Maybe learning from their own mistakes will help them better understand the extent scammers can go to steal bitcoins. These scammers obviously run a syndicate. They are thesame people giving fake reviews about their services. They are still the one's encouraging you not to let the scammers go scot free. They know themselves.

What I know about bitcoin is, once my bitcoin is stolen, it is gone for ever. This thought about my bitcoins has helped me be overprotective of my asset. Every person who own bitcoins should also have it at the back of their minds that a lost bitcoin is lost forever and cannot be recovered. This will help save them from further damages.

Until I have been proven wrong, there is no way I would believe there is a crypto recovery service that is legit. To me, 100% of the time, recovery services are a fraud.
With the way crypto works, you can't take coins out of a wallet if you don't have access to that wallet. You can either hack the wallet in some way with viruses or whatever or find a way to have access to the wallet, but you can't take money out of an account unless the person who has that wallet authorizes it.
So with this, how exactly do they want to recover the coin? They can trace the address and someone find the details of the person who stole the coins and report him to the authorities, but they cannot recover those coins on their own.

I have not heard of any coin where a third party can make a transfer or reverse a transfer.
The only people that can recover stolen coins are exchanges and that coin has to be stolen from that exchange. If the coins are still in the exchange account, they can recover it but if it has already been moved out of the wallet, all they can do is mark that address and coins and report the culprit to the authorities since they already have his details through KYC.
Again, I say, if I'm proven wrong I will change my mind, but until then, 100% of crypto recovery services are scams.

There's a difference between seed phase recovery and crypto recovery.

After scamming you, they are not always satisfied with what they have taken from the person they scammed. They will go ahead to make use of their recovery service to take more from the person because they will request some funds for them to help you get back the amount that you have lost, which is impossible. Some will demand money multiple times until you discover that they are scammers, and they won’t be able to get you back the amount you have lost.
 
So the best thing is just to accept your faith after losing your bitcoin, take your time, and figure out where you got things wrong and how you are going to fix things to avoid the same thing repeating itself later in the future, but recovery services are scams.
