This morning, I was scrolling past some post on my X account, then I came across this tweet by one of the telegram games that so many people are tapping.

So far, we can make reference to the already listed airdrops, DOGS and NUTCOIN  and they had their own criteria for how they distributed their airdrops rewards.

Ofcuz I don't expect to see all the airdrops use the same measures and criteria in rewarding participants, I don't even expect to see them use the criteria that was used by the two already listed airdrops but being too unfair in their reward distribution is what is unacceptable and I wish to inform you guys to inform others to be careful.

This Known telegram Airdrop called Rockyrabit (RBTC as they abbreviated it),  allegedly, seems like a scam project. They are asking airdrop participants to pay 0.5 TON coin as transaction fee before they can qualify for the airdrop reward.

Secondly, they will only distribute 50% of the total earned airdrop to each user and the balance of 50% will be paid 6 months later and probably by then, the team have already disappeared.

According to their claim, (Rockyrabit) of asking for the 0.5 TON fee is to serve as a means that will help them distinguish between real users and Sybil users.

Now, my rhetorical question is, if they request for 0.1 or 0.01 TON as fee, will it not be enough to help them segregate real and Sybil users?

To participants, be smart and only risk what you willing to lose. If you feel ease to lose risk the 0.5 TON, the ball is on your court.

These people have the same distribution pattern as Lumbertoken, which was also a telegram airdrop back then. Some people were asked to pay as much as 0.7 ton as fee, wh which will be used to distribute the token to them, and that fee is a one-time fee that everyone needs to pay. 
 
And the distribution is being done badge by badge first; they distribute only 10% of the user's total earned token to the user with the promise of distributing the same percentage at the end of every month, whose month spacing and interval are not accurate since July 23rd, when I did my first withdrawal. It was up until today that I checked and noticed that I was eligible for the second withdrawal, which I have received. 
 
Some of this project is worth paying that kind of fee, but others are not worth it because you can't predict what will become of the token in time to come or if they will even distribute the token or if they will even list it in good exchange.

Anyone with experience with airdrops/transactions can clearly see that 0.5 ton is too much for a project that has not even been listed yet. It’s well known that if a project is asking for you to send them anything, it’s most likely a scam. Transaction fees should be paid in exchanges or wallets but not given to random addresses from the development team.

Secondly, they will only distribute 50% of the total earned airdrop to each user and the balance of 50% will be paid 6 months later and probably by then, the team have already disappeared.

Some airdrops really do take some time to distribute but it does seem strange that only half of the airdrop would be given before the other half. What would be their reason? It’s just sketchy all over and not worth the time, in my opinion.

But if one wants to take the risk then they could do so. It’s not such a huge money that it will leave one penniless after but I think you will just be wasting time and effort by engaging with this project.

Not worth it if that's the first condition so, the participants shouldn't really have to spend any penny with these kinds of conditions being set by the developers. If that's the main reason and requirement for them to be eligible in the tokens distribution soon, I'd leave the room asap.

I just knew the scam scheme pays first to verify your address and account that are still prevalent on casinos and exchanges will find its way in the Tap to Earn platform, their community data says they have 16 million users just imagine half of these accounts paying 0.5 Ton, the developers would have made 4 million tons on this scheme.

I stopped doing this, Why would they do this when their predecessors Notcoin and Dogs have not done this, I pity those newbies who do not know this scheme; they are likely to fall for this scheme, This is an outright scam, and people should stop supporting this platform. I hope we can get this discussion moving up for awareness.

There are other scam schemes that will likely be implemented by scammers on Telegram, so we have to be on alert and warned these newbies, liek we've always said not all that glitters are gold.

So far, there are two platforms that are implementing this. I wonder if others will follow the leads of these two platforms.

I also saw a post saying a Tap2Earn game called xEmpire asked for 0.5 TON as well. I think shady projects are starting to make Telegram mini apps. Why should one send 0.5 TON for nothing? That's truly scammy.

The majority of their users will definitely not agree with the rule and policy made, but what can they do? They have special rights to do this and that there. I'm too using Rocky Rabbit and found out they are asking 0.5 TON for airdrop. So I went through the transaction as I want to experiment how worth they are. 0.5 ton is smaller than $3 and even if I get $5 out of it, I'll not be in a loss. And even if I get much lower, I'd have an experience as the amount is not a large one. I have had a good experience with Dogs airdrop.
Along with Rocky Rabbit, X Empire too is asking the same amount and I have done the same to get the X empire airdrop. I'll report on how both of those airdrop goes as they are one of the popular games.

Whenever price goes up this happens, and the saddest thing is that they hide themselves as well under disguise of legit stuff that many people get fooled because of it. I have seen people who have absolutely no benefit at all and losing money because of scammers end up defending scammers until they get scammed, and that's the biggest trick that scammers can do.

Imagine people who are losing money defending the thief that stole their money, when a scammer is so good they manage to do that and because of that I am always in shock, just because a bunch of people defend a scammer doesn't mean that person isn't a scammer, it just means scammer hasn't scammed them yet. Wait a bit more and eventually you will see the scammer get their money and people will focus on that eventually.

Currently, there are so many airdrops running and expected to launch on the TON network and all these airdrops are running on the telegram app, I don't expect all of them to have the same process or rules for allowing players to claim their reward but I u don't also expect them to add a reward claiming fee $3+.

I just hope that they actually pay a good reward to players and a reward that can cover the $3+ fee and also worth the stress of players. Base on what the second comment stated from his experience, the one he did was worth the fee he paid but all project are not the same and people should just be aware.

Still fresh on my mind about into that golden ICO days on where there are really tons of money making opportunities and we cant be able to deny that rewards into those years when it comes to bounty hunting could really be possibly be able to give you that $$$ or something significant on which in compared to now that you could really be able to get peanuts. Going back into those scammers then its really just that normal when we do speak about existence. They would really be always lurking on the shadows and would really be utilizing and making use of the current trend and making themselves looks legit as much as possible. They would really be disguising as legit as they could because if they cant be able to convince then their scamming attempt is a fail. No matter how people would really be that giving out some advise then there's always those newbies who do fail out just because they are really that getting blinded with greed or something that pertains about on having that lack of knowledge and awareness on how things do work around.

Once any project that claims to be doing an airdrop starts to ask for the participants to pay some money, no matter how small that amount appears to be, I no longer consider that an airdrop but rather a token sale because airdrops are supposed to be totally free and distributed to their participants free too.
