Yes, as I have said as well, this could be a big test for Tim, but we have seen Tim though really go to a lot of tough opponents in the past and win by going into distance. And if not for the accidental cut on his head against Fundora, I think he could have won that fight.
Let's hope it doesn’t happen to him again, but I have a feeling that Murtazaliev will target the spot where Tim got cut in his last fight. Hopefully, he finds a way to handle it, because it’s clear it bothered him last time. This reminds me of the Pacquiao vs. Morales fight (their first), where Morales took the win, but in the next two fights, Pacquiao dominated him.
So barring any accidents again like that against Bakhram Murtazaliev, I think Tim might attempt to go for a knockout win. But I do not see him overextending though as he has also a good boxing IQ. And so if there are no knockout or knockdown, then obviously a hard fought 12 round decision win for him.
A 71% KO rate shows he’s got power, so hopefully, he’s more aggressive, just without being careless.
It would also be great if he gets an impressive win to boost his popularity, since that’s really the goal.
