A person today with his phone in hand can do a lot of things and the person can be busy doing something like gambling without the need to stand up or walk around. He can relax all his day just scrolling and virtually arrive somewhere. If we are easily addicted to social media sites and can pass the time forgetting lunchtime, so are virtual games.

Instant reward lures not just the young mind, but a very grown man with nothing else to do can easily waste his time just swiping shorts on youtube, and if he discovers an enjoyable game, he may also be downloading the games.

I agree that when we are too busy with social media it can make us forget about time where we should be able to be aware not to spend a lot of time just with social media, especially if there is no clear purpose, except maybe by connecting because of work, it doesn't matter. In addition, indeed with today we can do many things just by using a cellphone, this actually makes it easier for us to do many things such as work or others, but there is also a negative side as stated above. The many advertisements that appear at a glance when we are operating social media make it easy to feel interested, it is not strange that there are people who are interested in seeing advertisements that pass by and immediately download them to play them, but for people who may use social media normally they will not be interested in the advertisements that exist like me, because I myself am not at all interested in any advertisements that exist when I am using social media.
For now there are many games that can be played and some young people in my environment are the group of people who like to spend a lot of time just playing games, until they exchange their sleep time where they should sleep at night but in the morning until the afternoon becomes their time to sleep. And what makes me wonder they don't experience any changes, I mean the games they play don't produce any profit, they just waste time and affect their health.

From my analysis, all forms of gambling  is addictive it all depends  one the gamblers mindset. I would say virtual casinos and virtual games are more likely to make people to suffer from addiction in the midterm than brick-and-mortar establishments. I’m going with the idea that your “virtual game” means slots and sport betting where you get to see the instant results of the match after placing your bets. If that’s it then yes, they are more addictive than the normal gaming or should I say real life games.

Personally, when I bet on sports I find it very easy to call it a quit but when I’m playing slots and other casino games I find it more difficult to call it a quit and I play longer than I do when I’m on sport and I guess it is because of the fun we get from those ones than we do from sport - ranging from the animation to the sound effects they are super fun than sport.

Not totally sure what you mean by virtual games. Do you  mean online gambling from home or like VR stuffs? Add some examples so people understand what you are refering to. Anyways, if you're talking about gambling from home, the games are pretty much the same as in real casinos. The only big difference is that you can play anytime from home or while working (if you do this, you are already are addicted)or literally anywhere using any device, which might make it easier to get hooked and addicted. This is why the dilemma of parents nowadays is how to contain their kids when it comes to access with gambling sites and other unnecessary sites for their age. I think you both have misunderstood my point, the thread isn’t about Virtual or simulated sports betting and not Online and Physical Casinos. Yes, it's true that virtual games are more addictive than physical games when it comes to gambling base on the 2 reasons I will be giving below.
