Is your project related to a lottery? If that's the case you can post your survey on the gambling board. A quick look at your form made me realize your questions are too broad. Why not specify more details so we can understand what kind of project you're trying to build?

I am a developer and I am somewhat new to the idea of market research, so I approached it broadly to get a general idea. Thank you for making me aware of the Gambling board, as I hadn't seen it yet. Will refine the survey to include some details about the service, and add more questions. (I will also actually make it not require a Login this time, my bad).

Honestly, I didn't quite understand what you were aiming for with this survey, except maybe preparation for some kind of gambling/lottery service. Quite imprecise regarding the questions asked, but ok if this will help you.

You would probably get much better answers if we knew the context and if you told us more about what you are planning (of course, you don't have to reveal the idea if you are afraid that someone will take it over).

People work fast, often faster than me. This idea feels very simple to create and from my own research it hasn't been done in the way I'm planning. So yes- i am a little "scared" people will steal it. But alas, to get better info I need better questions, you're correct. New survey including a website will be up by tomorrow night UTC.

Yeah. Those survey questions come off pretty generic.  Not totally sure youd get any useful info from responses to something so vague.  Seems like if you wanna get feedback you can really use, posing more specific questions is the way to go and  ask about the needs and pain points your potential users have.  Get their thoughts on features or options they would hope for.  Thats how you find out if folks genuinely want what you are offering.  More detailed questions equals more useful insights.  Might take more work to analyze all that, but it paints a clearer picture in my view.  At least worth considering if you are aiming to meet real demand instead of just guessing.

Unless if you are performing the survey for another study, but when I looked at the questionnaire, the questions are pretty basic for a person looking to set up a lottery service  or casino. Perhaps the focus should be on the features and functionality of the service

The cryptocurrency market has expanded so that ideas alone no longer create wealth. You need ideas, funding, design, and a little luck to succeed, so as long as you have an accurate vision of your ideas and start implementing them, no one will get ahead of you.

Is this the first time that you are running an online platform? I hope you subscribe to a reputable provider, and since this is a membership platform, you should subscribe to a dedicated server in case your platform membership increases, as you will need more bandwidth and resources.

I attempted to move the entire discussion over to the gambling board, but the post got deleted (?). I did try posting again in services, but that got zero engagement. (I just noticed I was replying to posts across the two boards. I haven't used one of these Forums in 20 years, and it shows.) So I am confined to this board/thread currently, as it is the only one getting engagement. I will move the survey to the Website though, which I am getting ready right now, so no more spam. Will consolidate into a single post then, ideally in the gambling board without it getting removed. We'll see, thank you for the heads up though, a ban would not be nice indeed.

Given that the project is still in development and you still don't have a final product, this is a perfectly adequate board for experiencing your service. The moment your service is open for use, you can open ANN in the gambling section.

Otherwise, and your second survey, I'm not sure that you will be able to draw some quality and precise conclusions from it. I believe that if you made a pilot page of your idea, you would certainly get much more useful feedback here.

I believe so too after having made those two surveys. That's why the page is almost up and running, but its currently missing the hardware. In the process of figuring out the quickest way of getting it as we speak. Should be up and running by the weekend, will update accordingly.

I spent most of the day doing the math to figure out what to charge for my service, how to be fair to everyone involved, while operating at an acceptable profit margin. I am now writing it all down in a blog/updates tab on my website and will then share the link to it. When everyone knows the exact details like prices, mining times, odds etc. and I've had some feedback, and the demand still exists, I will put in the order for the equipment.

Sounds interesting, but since you are going to market your platform here, you need to buy a copper account so you can post images, Since this is a lottery mining concept, it may sound simple but tutorial will give the potential new bettors to fully understand how the concept works.

The gamblers are looking for new concepts and new casinos to play, so I can say that your concept has a chance if all it needs is proper marketing and good support to address concerns and issues.

Wasn't really skepticism, was more sarcastic.  I just found it funny that you had everything you needed for a mining company, except for the miners.

There are some too naive questions like:
How important is it to you to have transparency and probable fairness of the mining process?

Of course, this is important and I think the main component in all business is honesty and transparency.

Let's say you launched a lottery, the lottery prize amount is $ 1,000, but there are 3 participants, each of whom paid $ 1-5 per ticket, per person
Will there be tricky rules to cancel these lotteries?

It all sounds interesting and funny on the one hand, but it requires a good amount of investment and if you are ready to accept risks and potential losses at the growth stage, then you should try it, taking into account that everything will be as transparent as possible for users.

And most importantly, NO KYC and decentralized.
