I agree with you, as far say my family knows that am not into any scamming activities to make money, the rest wey dey assume say na my source of income be that e no really concern me, I owe no one explanation about it, because if the fraud wey some people dey think say we dey do if na easy thing make them go do am. Honestly, na better question Op asked because some of us don experience this in life, some people notice am say we are doing better in this hard economy without any job, all they can assume is that we dey do fraud but I believe say dey cannot say it to my face.

Because of this there are apps I don't keep in my smart phone I do hid them though they are in the phone but hardly to been seen this is because of the country we are into.

I no go argue about how most of the security personnel's the behavior towards Nigerian youth's way look like somebody way the see small RBS for body but there are also some among them that are very learned and exposed to the online communities and the legitimate opportunities way full online way the give money especially in foreign currency. If you're able to express and explain yourself well to them they just let you go your way. Nah those illiterate wey join the forces onto say job no dey nah just the spoil the force name with their dubious character.

Another thing about this also applies in how the individual dresses to show off in the very way they have normalize about how these fraudster (yahoo boys) dresses. So it's imperative to mind how you dress out there, never always looking flamboyant but dress moderately to avoid embarrassment.

Like I been talk above, applying wisdom also include on how we dress, our appearance. And having a side hustle to use the cover for your online crypto related business is very important since we're in a country where crypto is not legally supported.

full time bitcointalk.org user or a part time bitcointalk.org user, you should have other jobs or business offline because it's unfortunate that the society we are today views everyone engaging in online activities are scammers even when there are so many genuine works online that people earns from and this is not just about the paramillitary but the society at large and sometimes i also blame some individuals because they always want to show off by spending money extravagantly, living luxurious lifestyles and buying expensive cars because since we know how the society paints people who earns online it's for people to be very careful and live on low key but it's not as if someone who have made money from bitcoin shoudn't live large but it should be checked and controlled.

Speaking of hiding apps on phone, it might also interest you to know that most of these police and paramilitary personnels have already become familiar with different methods of hiding apps on phones. I remember one of my encounters with these people, I had als hidden a few sensitive files and apps on my phone but I was surprised when the officer went directly to that particular place and asked me to unlock it, but thankfully the app developers had already set some escape measures for such situations, the app had two passwords, one was the real password to where my stuffs were and the other was a fake password, more like a diversion password which led to a different folder that contained nothing and that was how I was able to avoid the embarrassment I would’ve undergone that day.

I understand a lot of people might be wondering why this very question, but the truth is that, the country and its paramilitary isn’t a very favorable one especially for a common Nigerian , it might seem really impossible to boldly tell a military personnel that you’re fully into crypto without them having to tag you a scammer or something like that and this isn’t just about the military but also the society seems to tag every crypto enthusiast as a scammer which isn’t right.
