Real Bitcoin Lottery - scam or legit?

Hi. I found something like this:

They offer 2 BTC to win. It's already deposited on the address you pay for the tickets. Do you think it is legit?

I can see that it's obvious that you are trying to promote this spammed site with a technique that has been be flagged.
I don't even know what you gain by trying to create awareness about sites like this one with that any of the participants could get lucky and win upto 2 BTC which is obviously not true. This kind of method is not in trend again and I think op can restrategize next time because we'll know this pattern and I don't think any person that has a knowledge about this strategy will want to click on the link.

The bitcoin pool address has 2btc, this makes them look legit, but you still need to be careful because there are many things they can do to make this site legit so many will be interested but actually they are scammers, trying to join in is not a smart move in my opinion so it's better to ignore it because 2btc for only 30 winners is a big amount and looks suspicious.

I didn't take this fact about the 2 BTC seriously because since there is no KYC in the wallets, he could have asked a friend who has 2 BTC to help him and that way he would post the address of the friend who has 2 BTC, because I don't believe that the 2 BTC are his? Because if he really had 2 BTC, then he would have money to create a better website, he would pay for advertising on the best casino review sites. This site is not a professional site and it doesn't even have TOS. All this indicates that the guy has no money, so he won't have money to pay anyone. For me this is very clear and I hope no one falls for this scam.

Maybe he can finds out the sites that have reputations from here and not just try with the site from out there. He doesn't know if that site is legit or scam him easily.
Moreover, I hope @OP can be careful when selects the site. Not many gambling sites out there can be the legit one.

Regardless of what other users of this forum are saying, let me say something that is quite a bit different from the topic, and that is that the site in question function very horribly on mobile, looks to me like the building of the website was rushed and the builders didn't even take out some time to test the adaptation of the site to different screen sizes and browsers.
I visited the site with inbuilt mobile Samsung browser and I could even get hold of any information as all the texts seemed like over zoomed out with no way to zoom in.

Overall, the fact that the owners of this site deposited 2 bitcoin to an address that participant of the lottery will likely be sending funds to; does not justify whether the lottery is legit or not, this is because the private key to the bitcoin address is still owned by those hosting the lottery, and they can decide to withdraw those bitcoins at any time they want.
So, whoever is considering trying out this platform should better be extremely careful so not to be fooled.

The 2 Bitcoin is just bait to make it look legit, but there are many factors that should be considered first. Besides that 2 Bitcoin, I mentioned the absence of escrow and the lack of transparency; they can easily pull the plug, and you literally wasted your money.

This platform is created for newbies who cannot overcome or moderate their greediness, but for the community, we can easily mark this as a scam. We have seen so many like this before, and the community has the same reaction, I'm 100% sure that this platform will cease to exist once they have many people taking a chance to bet.

I would suggest you to stay away from any websites like these as the chances of them being a potential scam is more than a casino or a lottery site available or registered on this forum. Also, how did you find it out at the first place? How can we know it's not an ad in an informal way.

I have the feeling that they are a fly-by-night lottery platform, where they will disappear once they have some amount deposited on that address. Even if we say, they have more than 2BTC in their address, it doesn't mean, they will really use it in this contest. It seems that they are using it to lure more naive bettors.

LMAO! I do not click on random links on this forum, thanks for sharing this with me. And I stay to my words, it's a potential scam as you have mentioned too. Chances of them running after getting even 0.1 BTC is way more than Bitcoin hitting $70k this month. Once again, stay away from this. I also think this post by the OP is an unofficial advertisement of this website, going to report this to the mods.

I would not trust everything that is advertised, because even bad products and dubious websites could still be promoted through advertising. Some of the companies in charge of these advertisements do not really care about properly vetting the kind of advertisement they are promoting but rather are concerned more with the charges and the profit they stand to gain.

If it is too good to be true, it is most likely a scam, even if you say it was advertised online.

In our day and age, many people rely on luck; that's why they engage in online gambling and even physical gambling. There are still many people queuing up at lottery outlets because of poverty.

I guess many have reported the site, I cannot access the site; it was marked Phishing site; By my anti virus and checking on Virustotal, many AV have marked it so access is restricted on this platform and it will eventually be taken over by its host, I wonder why OP called it a a real bitcoin lottery when it's a scam site

This is too real to be true. I checked for the source or sponsors but could not get any. On a normal, sponsors of such lottery would want to promote their services through such avenue to making sure it counts for them but nothing of such nature was found on the website. This alone could be a good traffic for them because millions of visitors could be visiting the website every seconds just for the lottery itself.

I also had to see for myself what they their terms and condition looks like but it is not clickable, but other links right on the same spot are clickable and viewable. They posted about the last three participants with txn harsh that is not complete but I checked the wallet  I could not see any txn of that nature and  they could have made the txn harsh clickable to prove their point.

If I would suggest to the team responsible for this lottery give away, I would suggest they have a reputable escrow form this platform  and forget about ticketing because that alone would cast doubt on their genuineness if they are for real. Since this lottery is on bitcoin chain, they could use a method of  applying through their wallet address as it is done here then the lottery can take place whoever's wallet address falls in within the categories wins it. The idea of ticketing is not real for such a lottery give away when it is online and on the same blockchain.

The credibility of the game can be increased just by using a third party escrow from this forum. We have many reputed members who offers escrow service, many like me does not even charge a fees for the service. By setting a good term with the escrow if the host can market the lottery then I am sure it will be able to create a good traction.

They will not want to use escrow because they want to scam. He is not posting on his own thread. Only what he came here to do is to post the scam and expect people to pay him more money. Scammers can be rich also and be using his richness to scam people just like this person.

Maybe it is, maybe it's not, in any case, Op's link is to be considered as suspicious as any other link from a newly created account, so we should just remain cautious and stay vigilant.

Nah its scam your account is new the domain is new and the site I never heard before I come to this thread like everyday but I never heard of it and then Im trying to open the site. First my browser chrome tell not going to this site because the invalid https certificate and I ignore it and DNS adguard tell not to go then this is a huge scam site.

We don't know that for sure because he just came here and ask about the site without we know if that site is legit or scam. We don't have to try to buy the lottery because we never heard about the site so that can makes us gets a trap in the scam.
Hopefully, he will not try to buy the lottery like what we did and leaves the site like that. He can search the other casinos from this forum and I am sure that he will like and have one or more casinos that he can use to playing gambling.
We must be careful from the advertising that we don't knows because that have potential to scam us without we realizes. It is better to prevents than lose the money in a scam casinos.
