Blockchain vs. BlockDAG?

Hello guys! Do you pay attention to the technology of the project? I mean, whether it's blockchain or blockdag, layer 1 or layer 2? I see that more and more projects choose BlockDag architecture. What's your opinion about that?

Yes I do.
The purpose and needs satisfied by a technology matters to me
I guess BlockDAG is getting attention now.
BlockDAG unlike Blockchain whose blocks are added linearly, while DAG are added concurrently which improves it's scalabilty compared to Blockchain technology.

But despite this Advantage over Blockchain, I would still pick Blockchains because Decentralization and security matter to me more than speed which DAGs fails to really offer.

In the case of Layer1 and Layer2, they both serve different purpose.
Layer1 solution like Bitcoin are the base Protocol while layer 2 like lightning Network are used to improve the scalabilty of the base Protocol.
