It will continue to show. If you use the same seedphrase on 10 different computers, the BTC will show on all of them. It's not going to make the previously restored wallets obsolete if that's what you're asking.

If it is the seed phrase to that wallet yes it will show up. That is one of the major essence of the seed phrase or private keys they help to restore lost or destroyed wallet in case of hardware wallet and that’s why an extra backup offline is required so one can recover the wallet when any of this happens. A restored wallet can also show up the past transaction details on that wallet. Another way to restore a wallet without the keys or seed phrase again is through the wallet file.

While restoring your seed phrase make sure it is not with added passphrase if  there is you must include to restore the restore the right wallet

I tried to restore the seed phrase to the same type of wallet, but the BTC didn't show up.  Maybe it takes some time.  I possibly didn't have my wifi going at the time.

Which wallet did you use?

If it was Electrum or a similar SPV wallet (light wallet), yes, this wallet needs a connection to an Electrum server to get the balance of your wallet's addresses. So you most likely need a working internet connection.

You should provide a little more details. Nobody can read your mind.

And to clarify: your crypto coins are not in your wallet(s), they "live" in the blockchain. Your wallet(s) only have the private keys to move your coins within the blockchain, loosely speaking.

I tried to restore the seed phrase to the same type of wallet, but the BTC didn't show up.  Maybe it takes some time.  I possibly didn't have my wifi going at the time.

It is the Wi-Fi then you need network connection to sync your wallet first, make sure you have good connection to sync, if after sync the wallet didn’t show up your balance then it is certain you restored a wrong wallet through a wrong seed phrase so you need to be sure of the wallet seed phrase and also check if the wallet doesn’t have a passphrase.

One way to check if you’re importing the wrong seed phrase is to confirm the addresses on that wallet and see if it correspond with the real wallet address if at all you have it somewhere, if it doesn’t match then you’re restoring the wrong wallet

I am fairly new to this.  BTC - Mycelium.  Yes, I knew that my BTC is on the block chain, but the $ amount and quantity showed up in my former wallet.  It is interesting to know that this should show up on any wallet I install and restore to as I think OmegaStarScream was implying.

It should as long as you're entering the same seed, no more no less.

I mean sometimes you might added the extra word which is passphrase so when you want to import to another wallet then you should also enter the passphrase too or else you will see different wallet with different addresses.

Thanks for clarifying that.  I am glad to find this forum. I asked this on reddit/bitcoin and apparently said something wrong and was immediately banned from the group.  I find it hard to believe that they are so churlish.

If you are using Mycelium then its a syncing issue it's known wallet with very slow server and sometimes their wallet server is unreachable.
To confirm the issue you can go to wallet logs by tapping 3 dots> settings> help> logs. You can copy them all and post it here with insert code tag and we can analyze it for you.
