As part of his plead deal, CZ agreed to step down as CEO and it appears that he is not interested in retaking that position. He is still going to be closely monitored to ensure he is being compliant so it will be in Binance’s interest if he maintains reasonable distance.

I think he CZ still supports Binance. Maybe only CZ understands the meaning of the post. I think there will always be a chance for him to support Binance even if it's not visible. I read that CZ remains a major shareholder but is not involved in operations. CZ's release also seems to have a slight implication on the price of BNB, which had increased. I have high hopes that Binance will still be able to compete with new breakthroughs even without CZ.

Binance founder Zhao Changpeng was released from prison after serving 116 days and posted his first post on Twitter. It seems that he is going to take power again.
https://x.com/cz_binance/status/1839861237850497271?t=Y3YZnmD12c2mC6B1E4KS-g&s=19
Mate, all he posted is ‘gm’. I don’t think this implies anything let alone taking power again. He gave up his position in Binance for a reason and he’s not going to get it back so soon. He still has power on his company anyway. It is just not his name up there.

This post though has garnered 9,4 M views so it is safe to say that this simple post has made a lot of people happy and hopeful. Probably the same as OP who thinks this could signify CZ getting back into power. Even though I think it is unlikely, I do wonder what could be the implications on the market.

He served his time, we are not sure maybe he could have been there longer but yea, he's a rich money and he was served well despite him being in a jail. And your stance about him coming back to power is fairly wrong. He will not be going to become a CEO at Binance again, he pledged to be spending his time and money as a Philanthropist. And it's funny that he started his X journey back with a "gm" tweet. Tongue

He is no longer the CEO of Binance but remains Binance's largest shareholder and may act as an advisor. Not to mention his wife is also a co-founder and currently works at Binance so I don't think CZ will not interfere or not participate in the development of Binance. Every statement he made to the media was aimed at placating the US government and reassuring people that he had complied with the law.

We cannot deny his role and influence in the cryptocurrency industry. I believe if the market doesn't have him it will be a huge loss and that's why people call him the King. King is back.

Changpeng Zao is smart to know that if he tries to influence the market again, Binance will be in more problems. It's not coincidence that SEC approved Bitcoin Spot ETFs with massive contribution from a company in the USA, Grayscale, and many companies there like BlackRock provide their services for customers to access Bitcoin market, then Binance got more bigger legal troubles.

Bitcoin Spot ETFs were approved to help companies in the USA. get benefit, not for Binance. Binance as a non-USA company, actually has many enemies from that country and I believe that Changpeng Zao knows that very well.

He still has big influence but I believe he loves Binance company and will not want to do things which can harm Binance in future.

Although I have hints on CZ release from prison and some bitcoin/cryptocurrency analists have speculated that the entire market is going to see a positive reaction to this, but personally I don't think CZ release will have that impact on the market, although at the moment the market is all positive and this have resulted into alot of speculations.

The market correction after CZ got out of prison is the biggest possibility even though the hype of the price going up for a while.

It is true that if we look at CZ's current status, it has nothing to do with his operational side on the Binance exchange, but CZ is still a public figure for the BNB coin.

If I focus on market data only because the potential for BNB to increase in general is still in a bullish trend until the end of this year and many are sure that their 2025 target of 1K will be achieved. If you play short term, you can sell now because the upward graph is already high, but if you hold it, hold it until the maximum price.

Yes everyone is happy that CZ is finally out of prison, there is a huge reaction on social media with the news and it seems like a very important event in the history of crypto, I don't know why all this attention?

Frankly , I didn't think that CZ would still have such appeal and influence in the market, as soon as the news of his release from prison spread, the market reacted very positively and the color went green, honestly I'm surprised, I thought that his influence on the market had faded.

Anyway, I don't think he will return to exercise power in Binance like before, he certainly still has influence but I think he will not return to the forefront again.
