In the wake of Hurricane Helene's devastating impact, former President Donald Trump is once again stepping up to do what the current administration won't.

As the Category Four storm leaves a path of destruction over 500 miles wide across several Southeastern states, more than 100 people have reportedly lost their lives, and millions are left without power.

But while the Biden administration fumbles in its response, President Trump is taking swift action to provide relief where it's needed most.

As reported by The Gateway Pundit, Trump received a briefing on the catastrophic hurricane in Valdosta, Georgia, where he's actively coordinating efforts to aid Americans affected by the storm.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris seems more interested in playing politics than providing actual help.

Harris, who claimed on social media to be "in constant contact with state and local officials to ensure communities have the support and resources they need," was caught in yet another embarrassing gaffe.

In a photo she posted on X, she is shown wearing earphones, supposedly on a call with FEMA and local governors. But sharp-eyed observers immediately pointed out that her earphones weren't even plugged into her phone.

It's no wonder Trump isn't waiting around for the Biden-Harris administration to take charge.

In a statement to the press on Monday morning, Trump blasted the White House's unresponsiveness, saying: "They're having a very hard time getting the President on the phone; he won't get on, and of course, the Vice President, she's out someplace campaigning, looking for money."

Trump confirmed he would be traveling to North Carolina next, one of the hardest-hit states by Hurricane Helene, to provide direct support and meet with officials. "North Carolina has really been hit hard, really, really bad, the hardest. You can't even get in there right now, and a lot of people have been injured or worse," Trump said. "The federal government is not being responsive."

It really is nice that Elon Musk and Donald Trump are making such an effort to help the victims devasted by this travesty.  Elon tweeting that Donald made a call asking for more Starlink terminals and he gladly provided all he could is the sort of thing we need out of politicians and wealthy businessmen.  I don't see the same type of effort coming from the other side of the aisle.  I'm sure once everything has calmed down they'll wake Joe up on the beach and cart him down for a photo opportunity.

My main problem with Trump is that he lies frequently. He said Georgia Governor Brian Kemp had difficulties accessing the President. But below is the governor's remark about the White House.

“He just said, ‘Hey, what do you need?’” Kemp told reporters of his call with Biden. “And I told him, you know, we got what we need. We will work through the federal process. He offered that if there’s other things we need, just to call him directly, which, I appreciate that. But we’ve had FEMA embedded with us since, you know, a day or two before the storm hit.”

Almost all the news outlets I saw confirmed that the governor never complained to Trump, which means it was a false claim.  

So, what's the big deal against Trump? He is simply doing what the US President is supposed to be doing. And he is doing it without the help of the Oval Office position, while the people in the Oval Office are neglecting their American obligation. Why are they neglecting their obligation? They are too busy campaigning... and making war against Russia for nothing.

There is no big deal sir. The most important thing is for the people to get help. It doesn't matter who offered the help, thank God the victims are getting it.

Nobody knows the future. But the past shows that Trump is for peace and the strengthening of America. The current regime talks strength, but they make war instead; look at all the dead Ukrainians and Russians they brought about by their funding of Ukraine. And they seem to be reducing American strength at the same time.

Freshly back from Rehoboth Beach, President Biden announced Monday that he would tour the destruction of Hurricane Helene later this week when his entourage's travel was less likely to impede rescue efforts.

Vice President Harris' team did take to Twitter to share that she had been briefed on the unfolding Hurricane Helene tragedy, but otherwise it seems her calendar was largely unaffected by the storm. Harris had a trip to the Mexican border and a meeting with Ukraine's Zelensky over the weekend.

Former President Donald Trump also kept to campaign events this past weekend but made time to tour the damage in Valdosta, GA on Monday. A partnership with Elon Musk to restore internet to especially hard-hit areas of the Southeast was also announced by Trump's campaign.

All over the world, it has always been within months of the election period that you see politicians who are verging for a higher position demonstrating love and care for the people they want to rule. Those times calamities befall their citizens before the election period, you will have them not being in the news of providing aid and support to their citizens. So, what kind of profit would someone as random as I am (who is not even in the USA) get from having Kamala Harris as the president of such country? Actually, there are several instances in which it could be beneficial for my home country for Trump to win. Trump would be more tough against our current government which has been taken over by crooks.  
But one never knows whether he would or not to care what happens in other country, because of how seems to be into isolation.
There is nothing wrong per se by having a profit-minded personality, the problem comes when the profits originates from the suffering of others and squandering the future of those who are considered not to have a room within society, with the speeches Trump usually holds in his rallies, it is no wonder why people from LatinAmerican descent and even Asian descent are being discriminated and treated different because of the thing he has pushed into the Republican party.
