Its actually understandable.  Without more details, it does seem questionable asking folks to invest in an unspecified venture.  Maybe you could share a bit more about your background and ideas to establish some credibility. Any past projects you can show us? Any profits you have made? Otherwise, its just empty words.

The most important thing here is for you to address these questions:

 - Why would people trust you, You have to make us believe that your offer is legit and that you are someone who will not run with people's money.

 - What is this asset fund management you are talking about? Please give the whole details.

 - And please don't drop a line that this will be discussed in private, as this is the kind of line scammers are dropping when they offer something similar to yours.
