Of course, it is a superstition plus luck.
I have some friends who bet for the first time and won huge during their beginner's betting, that's why we called it "beginner's luck" but still it will not apply to all. Luck is still your friend here even you are beginner or not.
If they consider their trading as betting, they will lose money with their bets. Because luck won't stay with them forever, so no matter how much profit they got from "Beginners' luck", they will lose big later, all profit from "Beginner's luck" and even more including their initial capital.

The worst effects from trading with pure luck is they will act like gamblers, no strategy, no cut-loss order setup, no aware of risk from altcoins and trading with altcoins. Sometimes if they pick terrible altcoins, trading with them will be like suicides.

The beauty of trading is that you can apply analysis to it and make your odds of getting something out for yourself bigger, thus, it can't described as "gambling" if you do it responsibly and use markers that are based on something you believe in.

If they won't adapt and learn, it will get back to them pretty fast  Grin
The coin flips like that are sure to be experienced by those who put too much onto luck, in my opinion.

That's why I don't believe on such superstition since see so many times newbie lose their money on their trades. Those immediate gain by other newbie is just part of their luck and this will not occur to other people.

Maybe they just buy that belief since some people want to attract new player and maybe take advantage of something they can get from those newbies. To lucky for your friend to win huge but what I really think those words said by people is just an expression for the winnings gotten by newbie people they know.

I would go as far as to say that much, muchhh more people being newbies lost their deposits and weren't as lucky as those friends.
And with time, if they won't see it coming, they will be among the latter too.

Some newbies need to be taught the hard way about how the market feels when a person is confident and has too much confidence put into his positions without the markers intact.

Let's assume a beginner enters into trading without knowledge and indeed most of them are not equipped with sufficient knowledge. So when they get a big profit from their first trade, then it is a stroke of luck. Why? because they entered the market without sufficient knowledge and without experience too. I think that is felt by some beginners who eventually think trading is easy, but they don't realize that they were just lucky at that time. However, not all beginner traders can feel this, it only happens to a few people. I remember some time ago my friend entered the market for the first time and they immediately felt a loss. So it was indeed because of luck.

Trading without markers and analysis is gambling, in my opinion.

Beginners don't know how they should trade. If they are able to make big profit by investing a small amount at that time then surely they will gamble for more profit from trading and it is very natural to do so. But just as luck is not permanent in gambling like one or two bets you have to loss, similarly the condition of all traders who conduct trading without acquiring trading knowledge will be at the same level.

Trading is not a gamble where one can rely purely on luck. Before taking a trade, if the market conditions are not well understood or risk management or money management is not well understood, then trading will not be any different from gambling. Those who equate trading with luck may profit in a few trades but lose all their money in the long run. Trading requires a trader to have adequate knowledge and understanding of trading strategies otherwise trading will be compared to gambling.

I am of the opinion that beginners should get less overconfident and try to understand the market and develop a trading system.

That’s the best thing as a beginners in the trading, having a less confident and understanding how the market works is very important, because there’s a lot of people’s that beginners that they would just introduce themselves into the trading but they don’t how to monitoring the markets; and that’s why most people lose when ever they come to trade.

Beginners should equally know that loosing trades is still part of the win if you know the reason for the loss. Some one once said anyone who thinks trading is easy has just been trading for 5 minutes.
Knowing the risks that is involved in trading is the very important, because once a trader’s have experience on the losing in the it will be very hard for you to lose much amount of money in the trading base how long you take time and make an good research about the risks that are involved.

Some beginners get lucky more than one time while others don't get lucky as your friend did but that doesn't dispute the fact that there's something called beginner luck for first time traders. Beginners shouldn't depend or expect this luck because when they do, they'll not get the luck. Luck isn't something that it's planned for, it'll happen to you when it's your lucky day, when it isn't, it won't happen. Newbies being lucky is what makes them to think that trading is easy hence, I'll prefer a newbie don't get an easy victory when he starts trading.

He should find trading difficult so he can focus on studying the market to understand everything about trading. Some newbie are lucky that they make a  considerable amount of gains that they don't trade again and will tell anybody that asked them how easy trading is hence misleading others.

Yes this could happen all the time and this is why as an individual then dont make yourself that get confident just because of some few wins. The wrong thing about some people is that on the moment that they do experience some good situations then they do become that confident on which this is really that very wrong. This is why it would really be better that on the  time that you've been experiencing those then put it up into your mind and if there are those situations on which it causes up that loses then take it up and go along with it or ride with the waves. You cant be that be profitable forvever, you might be able to experience a series or tons of loses after that and might be resulting into quitting or stopping just because you cant take it anymore. It is really that important that you are able to sustain or survive. This is the time that you would be making out some adjustments accordingly. Trading skill isnt something that you could be able to learn in a short period of time and a small amount of effort. It would take time and it will really be needing up that tons of trial and error and money that you do need up to spend. On the moment that you do have that  good grasps of it.

Gambling your luck away is easy.
Trading your way to the profit - is hard, but it's much more rewarding and essential than just relying on rumors / etc.

I agree, that the impulse from the first good trades which were done purely - because - can ruin the funds a person has already pretty fast.
That's why it's important to hone the skills on the market, not your gut-feelings about how things may go, in my opinion.

Those who equate trading with luck may profit in a few trades but lose all their money in the long run. Trading requires a trader to have adequate knowledge and understanding of trading strategies otherwise trading will be compared to gambling.
This is true, if you are a newbie, there is no possible way of sustained profit, you will eventually lose. You need to learn how to trade and study all the methods and gain experience to have a profit consistently, which requires time and effort.

So if you are a newbie that made some money, know that it's all luck and you need to save that aside, and do not go chasing for even more profit because you are going to end up losing all the profits you made and then some, eating up on your cash. This isn't all that easy, but we could definitely reach to a point where we could make some money, and because of this we need more time, and it will eventually reach to a point where it will be great for everyone. I believe the best way to move forward would be just stick to learning.

Experienced traders also have the chance to have losing trades, despite the fact that they have enough knowledge to understand what they are doing, but there are manipulations in the market and it is not even a matter of luck, although in the case of a beginner, luck may matter more than in the case of an experienced trader. The most important thing is that the trader is successful enough in the long term, so that most of the trades are successful and a few losing trades do not greatly affect their results.

There is no trader who can have perfect success rate in trading and this raises importance of manage their trading capital, and if they succeed, get profit through trading, it's time for them to withdraw their profit and secure their original capital. If they can keep their original safely by withdrawing part of their profit, they will not lose initial capital even they lose all in one bad, unlucky trade.

To succeed in long term trading, managing their trading capital is most important. If they always use all capital for trading, they can win big or lose big and there is possibility to lose all their capital one day.

It cannot be done all the time, but most of the time, of course - the trades the good trader does would go up, not down  Grin And he would use the same amount of money for each position for every one of them to have the same value in the perspective.

Avoiding the risks that can be avoided is essential - it's all about risks-management and the responsibility put into it, along with the clear goals in mind when you start your trading session each time.

Great response there, being greedy can equally increase losses in the market, applying risk management is key and knowing that not trading is equally a good trading strategy
