He didn't sell the kid to play gamble but to pay debt but was diverted to Gambling. Though that is very bad of the father and the people who but the kid. If it was orphan baby home, they would have some legal procedures which would have involved the two parents to acknowledge their conscience before the process would have been activated. It should be shocking because it's not a normal thing to sell your own child whether to pay your debt or to gamble with the money, however, I have seen so many such stories that it doesn't shock me anymore when I see or read something like this. Some time back, a grandfather kidnapped his granddaughter only to demand money as ransom from his son so that he could use that money for gambling. Another story said that a person left his infant alone at home to go and gamble at the nearest gambling shop. The world is crazy these days.

No matter how addicted you are but still you would really be still on your right mind on not to do things on which arent you gonna supposed to do. Who the heck will really be that selling out his own child to feed up his addiction? I can't read the full article but it seems that Age and Zoomic are right and the father didn't sold his baby to fund his gambling addiction, but to pay his debts. Without justifying it at all, I think this was quite common until a few decades ago, when people were starving to death in some places, but yet it is inadmissible, no matter how serious the situation in which one finds oneself. I'd personally prefer to die because of my debts before my children were put at risk.

This was the extreme gambling addiction reaction by the gambling addicted person.The own son for the money was the ideology of the humanity less person,actually he need to get into the treatment.The money loss in the gambling will give the pain for sure,if you had use the money by the loan.This will create you additional money pressure,but child trafficking for the money for the gambling was the very extreme one.the Indonesia government should get into this problem,So it will create a fear for the people who have try to do this type of things.The baby is just 11months mean,the father should be admitted to the mental hospital to undergo a complete treatment for the recovery of his real mindset.
