I will be listing some ways which we can use to protect our forum account below.

-Wetin we suppose first do if we Dey create forum account, na to make sure say we make use of strong password, make we no use password wey be say people go easily fit guess am.

I just want to add to your list: Don't use the same password on different sites. For example, the credentials you use on bitcointalk.org should not be used on altcointalks.com. Many hacking cases here in bitcointalk happen because people use the same credentials, which is why they get hacked. Always use unique passwords for different sites this is to enhance your security and reduce the risk of hacking of your bitcointalk account.

The last time I check, that's not true though. The forum doesn't allow you to use the same username and password and just for some benefit of doubt, you can see the screenshot below.



You are not allow to use the same username characters and email in place of your password. This is just a basic protection and guide from the forum for people who are fond of using the same name and username anytime they want to register on anything on the internet. If you are for instance hack, the hacker will assume that is what you do in most of the websites you register and they will try and access all fit.

Yes, as far as i know here staking bitcoin address is the most secure methods to protect ones forum account, just as you have said if the person have their seed phrase or keys stored in safe place, It would enable them to get their account restored even though when their account got hacked. na true things you talk, E get watin happen years ago to my friend, e get one online work we been they do way they give us small small money and this my friend account for that site done grow well well so one day en family brother just login the site con put the boy name and password way en they always use for other things and e open, na so en take hack this my friend account.
