Hopefully this will be solved soon and they will be able to obtain the appropriate permits so that above all it doesn't affect them from the legal point of view as a Brazilian citizen.

If they want to get licensed, they will need to stop using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a means of payment. If that is not done, do not expect something good will happen for now.

We can not just conclude yet that Stake has not delist cryptocurrencies and only allowing the authorized payment methods in Brazil. Stake allows Indians to deposit in Indian rupee but which we from other countries can not see. It would be better if bitmover or anyone from Brazil can let us know if cryptocurrencies are still allowed in Stake in Brazil or not.

But it is a good news actually that Stake has been authorized to continue to provide gambling and betting services in Brazil.

It's nothing new that the government often blocks websites whenever it wants. But considering you live in a country where you have freedom of speech and people can talk about everything, I don't think the Government will block websites without any valid reason. If they do not have any valid reason, you can always expect to get it unblocked. All I expect is crypto casinos aren't illegal there, right?

But in my country, crypto is illegal, and so is gambling. When the Government blocks a domain, I do not bother much and use another mirror domain if available. Sometimes, I try a VPN as well, and it works. But before I login to my account, I ask the casino support if it is okay to use a VPN. In your case, it seems they requested that you not use a VPN.

If it's just BC game, then BC game will contact the government for sure as they said they are working hard to get back to normal situation again. But if the government decide to ban all the online casinos, then it won't be easy for BC game to operate their business there since they are a licensed platform. As you can see in the OP, the BC game seems to ask its players to disconnect their VPN and not try it. Even if it is a VPN-friendly casino, it does not allow players from restricted regions. I know Brazil is not a restricted region, but if it allows players from Brazil to play on its platform, the Brazilian government can take action against the BC game. So, probably they are not going to players using VPN if they are from Brazil.

If they only ban BC.Games, but allow other gambling companies, something is wrong with their regulation.

Sometimes government just try to put out anyone who doesn't meet with their requirements and some casinos would not want to put up with too many restrictions that they know is like fuel to their business. I think this is more common in western countries though. In African countries most of the government are just after crypto and less of casino or gambling sites. Though the rate at which younger ones are flowing into gambling is very high and to me should also be controlled. I see younger ones  playing sport bets on their phones and no one to restrict them more often. The whole idea here is just regulations. They should try to control the casinos and not ban them.

This was what I thought before I realised that it wasn't sad news at all. Brazil is trying to better regulate the gambling atmosphere in the country which is their legitimate right, so it's the right step towards the right direction. It's always a wake-up call for other countries and it seems like the beginning of each country regulating and making money from the activities of their residents regardless of whether they are dealing with onshore offshore companies. I see this as a new age thing that companies will no longer be pocketing all the money but must remit to the countries of those they are making the money from. This is fair enough regardless of how oppositions think, even as they make them accountable to avoid illegal flows that could be linked to their country.

It is good to know that Stake already has the license to operate its business in Brazil. This means BC Game can also obtain a permit. Now I understand why they mentioned in the email that they are working hard. Since they already mentioned it, I guess they are already working on it, and it won't be problematic if they spend money. After all, the main point of blocking the casinos is to provide them with licenses and earn revenue for the government. There might be other reasons, which I don't know.

You are absolutely right, and this is very much inline with my past comments concerning this issue on this thread, even from the information op shared, we can see that bc.game themselves made a statement that they are working on having the issue resolved and their market returning back to Brazil, which simply points to the fact that gambling is not banned in Brazil, the government selectively banned some offshore online gambling casinos that are operating in the country and not paying tax off the profit they make from the citizens of the country (just as you have said)

Personally, I don't see this as a problem to Brazilians since the move of their government will help make this casino become legally recognized in Brazil, and one of the benefits of this is that, whenever any of this casinos tries to play hacky packy with any of their Brazilian players, the player can easily sue the casino to court right there in Brazil.

In the Philippines, that’s not how it goes. Even with POGO bringing in over $30 million in taxes each year, the government still banned them. So, your point about the government just being after the tax money doesn't really hold up. They care about the people more than the casino running in the country.

About Phillipines, several of us know that the government of that country outrightly banned gambling in its totality. There is a big and significant difference in banning gambming, and banning casinos.
When you ban gambling, it simply means banned all casinos that see to gambling in that region, but when a number of casinos is banned, it's simply what it is which means that, gambling is still on, but those gambling casinos were banned for whatever reason best known to them - this is exactly the case in Brazil.

This is a temporary set back for BC.game Brazilian branch, and I am very hopeful that this situation will and is going to change, if other gambling sites can be allowed even with cryptocurrency acceptance that means that there is high hope's for this particular one also, what I suspected that may be the casuse of this ban and restrictions is that their may be issues bordering on taxation and licensing.

It's amazing how the culture in brazil (bostil) still has that 1950s mindset (especially the politicians). Casinos are injecting a lot of money into brazilian football, practically almost all Serie A and B clubs have some kind of sponsorship with betting houses. And what does the brazilian government do? Instead of letting free commerce flow, it imposes difficulties on the sector, regulating everything and wanting a huge slice for itself, driving up the odds of regulated betting houses. And the good betting houses shut down their operations in brazil.
