It seems you don't want to learn anything new and prefer criticizing and attacking rather than figuring out what you are doing wrong. Fine, have it your way. Stick with online banking, usernames, and passwords. If you can't figure out how to activate and use 2FA, you sure as hell won't understand private keys, addresses, seeds, non-custodial wallets, transaction fees, and everything else Bitcoin has to offer. Plus, you are likely to commit a serious mistake and lose your funds.

Crypto isn't for everyone, so for your own good, stick to what you know.

It's just a verification process and i have been verified when i log into nicehash account, now after i been "verified" into my account and now attempt to withdraw btc i then have to be "verified" again but now with a 2FA authenticator app.
You just fuggin wait because in the future they will force you to send a blood sample to prove who you are....nicehash is scam plain and simple and i hope they burn in Hell.

I will also add that without 2FA enable my account or anyone's account is not usable and cannot withdraw and the crypto will remain the ownership of nicehash.
And if a nicehash account holder does not use the authenticator app then the account holders crypto will remain the ownership of nicehash.
How many accounts does nicehash have that have no withdraw activity...probably lots.

"Quote"
"I disagree that all factors are made equal" and that should not be there default factor.
Yep...And that is true and scanning the screen with google authenticator app is a good example how crap it is.

nicehash 2FA  =  no withdraw from a nicehash account  =  nicehash is now by default the new owner of someone else's crypto.

Wow Amazing those scammers must be proud.

Uh, man, 2FA is just an additional method of authentication and it is exclusively for safety reasons. I don't know why there's so much drama about it, it's pretty simple and you can do it without giving a lot of personal information. Only one app on your mobile device.

If something bad happens to your account, someone hacks it and drains the funds from there, you would probably complain here that they are unsafe.
2FA is a useful and desirable method of additional authentication

Quote

I am sure that when they were founded, it was not their business idea to have many abandoned accounts that they would seize one day.

Finally, activate 2FA, withdraw funds from there and forget they ever existed. I don't know why you are torturing yourself and prolonging your agony because of this service.

I have been trying to withdraw btc from my nicehash account but clearly nicehash has made this difficult and i have wasted unnecessary time trying to do so.
The google 2FA authenticator app is broken and doesn't complete verification with nicehash and that's the problem they have created for me, with no other 2FA option's to have verification.
Like i said..i can log into my nicehash account so infact my verification is successful but withdrawing btc requires the only option they have and that is the google 2FA authenticator app that is broken.

What exactly is broken?
Google app, nicehash auth page or your device where you have installed google auth app?

Sigh!!
Edit: with the google app it keeps sending a new code every 30sec and i put in the email code and the google app code but it keeps saying "invalid"

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitwarden/comments/ol8g69/warning_please_stop_using_google_authenticator/

Here' my Warning.
Don't ever have a account with any business that make it compulsory to use google auth app, because you be a victim of not able to withdraw from that account I'm sure nicehash is enjoying that extra crypto coin from some of there account holders.

I will also add that the problem is with nicehash for choosing google auth app as a compulsory 2FA verification process with withdrawing from a account.
nicehash needs to choose a better option for 2FA or at least another 2FA verification option.

Since no one has pointed you to these information, I'll reply one last time:

You can use any Authenticator app that supports "TOTP" protocol, example is "Aegis Authenticator" with 4.9 rating in Play Store.
However, any other Authenticator app aren't any different with Google's since all of them are using the same RFC-6238 standard to generate OTP codes.

Sigh!!
Edit: with the google app it keeps sending a new code every 30sec
Google isn't sending you new codes, the app is generating codes in every 30 seconds within the app/phone.
(it can even do it while offline since Google isn't involved with its OTP code generation, read the link to RFC-6238 above to see how it works)

ELI5 explanation: the code is generated using the time and your secret code (from the QR) within the device.
Since Nicehash also has your secret code, it can generate the same OTP code by following the same algorithm as described in RFC-6238.
That 30 second is the set delay by the RFC-6238 standard and setting a higher limit will make it generate a different code than what Nicehash is expecting.

The trick is to use the displayed code when it just changed; do not use the code if it's almost 30 second, wait for it to change.

Quote from: Really A Genius
-snip- and i put in the email code and the google app code but it keeps saying "invalid"
If it's within that 30 second timer of the OTP Code, you're probably using an old email Verification Code which was sent by Nicehash the second last time you clicked "Enable 2fa verification" button.
Because each time you click it, Nicehash will send you a new verification code, the old ones wont work.

P.S.: This will be my last reply to this tread.

If he doesn't already know how to use the google auth app, maybe it's better to hire someone who knows and possibly pay for that service. Certainly better than him dramatizing here and inventing some kind of conspiracy theories and deliberate fraud.

and this will be my last reply as well.

I have all the personal information needed to complete KYC with nicehash but they're process doesn't recognize my phone camera even though the camera app has been set to "No permissions denied"
It's one failure after another with nicehash and like all the negative reviews at trustpilot and i still believe they are a scam.

also the QR code with nisehash always says "invalid code"
It's so bad having a account with nicehash and it hard to see why they do it.

nicehash you are clowns and what you have done is really bad.
I have nearly finished KYC with nicehash and once again the process fails because it stupid, it asks for a bill statement with my address on it that i have and its a PDF 243kb in size and nicehash fails to accept it because it say the file needs to be larger than 1B.
1 B = 1 byte
nicehash you are screwed up big time.

i used my latest and recent internet bill that is a PDF file and this time it states that the file has "been" uploaded before and is "not suitable for verification" and then says "upload a different one"
What is wrong with my latest internet bill that i have only received from my ISP just a week ago...and nicehash fix that crap website that is nicehash.

I download my second newest internet bill PDF file and upload that and it continues on with the KYC process but then stops and says it needs a "color version "of it but it is infact it does have multiple colors and is original PDF without any changes to it.
This is just nonsense that they have created to screw the account holder.

i have added two screen shots of my KYC process and what has already been verified with the 1st top pic and the 2nd bottom pic it fails and then resubmitting then again has the same outcome.
I will add that after the failed screen it then logs me out in less than a minute.

Any other bill/document you could try? Thing is, it's pretty much just an automated verification software, so there are times it is dumb lol. It may take some trial and error.

You may wanna inform the support team about this as well. Because in other places, they provide alternative/s if all else fail, such as manual verification wherein one of the staffs will check it for you.

i have attempted to upload the requested bill with my address on it to nicehash's KYC process via my phone and also via PC and when attempting with my phone it states the file needs to be larger than 1B and also it must be coloured, my pdf internet bill file is 243kb in size and is colored.
And when i attempt to upload via my PC is just says like in the pic i have added it just says "we can't verify you yet" but it doesn't say the reason "why" it's not accepting my bill document.
I don't have any other bills with my address on it that's less than 3 months old "a requirement by nicehash" and i don't want to upload load a bank statement with my address on it that would be stupid and i certainly wouldn't want to give that to nicehash

Yeesh. sounds like it's broken for you and nicehash has to step up.

While you're waiting for nicehash to respond. I think you can actually get in touch with sumsub as well -- from your screenshot, it is their verification tools provider -- because your problem concerns submission and not the end result yet.

Thus, while contacting our support team consider the fact that we can help you only on technical matters of the verification process.

i believe sumsub has customer support only for business customers.
Also nicehash no longer responds to my KYC support questions via there email.
KYC is close to being completed it's really just a document with my address is a problem for them to accept , i was going to give up long ago with my btc 300 bucks current value but there has been a lot learned from it.
i did recently receive a  personal message by Bitcoin Forum about my imgur pic and message being deleted...cheers.

i got a email reply from nicehash about my KYC process and quote,

We see the KYC failed with the message:
Please upload an original and colored image. Edited images are not accepted. You can hide sensitive data with a sticky note or a piece of paper.
Please try again and upload the picture directly in its original format.

well...I have not edited the pdf bill document it is exactly how i downloaded it from my ISP but it's still not being accepted by nicehash KYC process.

i believe sumsub has customer support only for business customers.

That's what I thought as well until I saw the "applicant support" help center -- support.sumsub.com. The excerpt I quoted previously was from application support as well.

There's also this ending note in their how to pass kyc blog article
Good luck! If you have any questions, please contact the support team of your service or write to us at  support@sumsub.com.

I'm not sure how helpful they'll be but I would say it's worth a shot.

Since you've already gotten this far, might as well push through. Plus who knows how much potential BTC has, current value could increase so much more after some years. Problem is, it's a frustrating journey to get the funds out.
