Interestingly, I also read just the last week that Samson Mow spoke to the German parliament on Bitcoin Strategies. Keeping these two in mind, I want us to take it a little bit further this week. If you had the opportunity to speak to members of your country’s parliament or legislature about Bitcoin, similar to what Samson did, what would you say?

If I had the opportunity to talk about Bitcoin to members of parliament, I would explain how Bitcoin represents a major technological advancement, offering an alternative to traditional financial systems and enabling secure and transparent transactions. I would emphasize that Bitcoin can help include millions of people in the financial system, especially those who do not have access to traditional banking services.

If I had to talk to them, I'd probably focus on the regulatory framework around Bitcoin--but honestly, I’m not really an expert on that. Thanking Satoshi or posting a message anywhere is way easier compared to trying to tell government officials what we want, especially when we’re not that well-versed in the law. Talking? Yeah, I’ll pass on that. But if it's just about sending a message, then I might give it a shot.

Pretty much the same with the addition of trying to make a plan of how the government can integrate crypto to our daily lives. I would ask them to first define what crypto means in the country and for the country. In my country, crypto is quite a gray area and I think we will only truly progress once there are clear laws and regulations about crypto.

This also makes it official and gives recognition to the community. It should not end there. I would tell them ways to possibly make crypto more accessible to the ordinary people and how they should spread proper education re crypto. The education obviously will include smart financial decisions, technology advancements and how can crypto be used for our benefits. The government should not just focus on holding but also mining so I will tell them that.

I would say bitcoin is the simplest investment that anyone can afford, it is an investment that both the poor and  the rich can benefit from. Their are other investments which only the rich have the opportunity to invest and since bitcoin is an investment that everybody can partake in it, irrespective of one's financial state. If the government can grant free accessibility for people to invest bitcoin it will have a good financial benefits and in the this time inflation is skyrocketing it can be consider as a store of value  for those who want to go into longterm investment, better than when money is being stored in the bank.

If I'm given such opportunity to speak about Bitcoin on such stage, first of all I will start by clarifying them about some certain things about Bitcoin because not all the people sees and like Bitcoin as others do, so I would ask those that are always skeptical or sees Bitcoin differently to explain their reason or point why they think so because sometimes starting with a question with the audience is very important because it enables you to understand the areas they like or dislike about Bitcoin and from their you will find the opportunity to address that matter because it could be that such person needs an explanation to make them have a proper understanding about Bitcoin.

So actually in as much as is very good to explain and show them the milestone Bitcoin has gotten to but that may not be important to explain to them because even after having such explanation to them and their question or wrong narrative they have about Bitcoin is not inclusive on the explanation that means that the person has not done anything or solve any problem and that will be contrary to my purpose of being there, which is why my centre of the discussion will be on the question and answering so that I would really know how they feel about Bitcoin through their questions because we all know that somebody who have not invested or take a little minutes of their time to read about Bitcoin can just wake up one morning based on the things they heard or saw and start saying bad things about Bitcoin so perhaps those are the similar kind of things I would loved to solve and addressed if I'm privileged to.

Let's say I'm standing in front of the powers that be, the people who make the laws and set the rules of the game. I smile at them and give the following speech.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you have a lot of power in certain areas, but you do not own the world. The globe is divided into individual states, but these individual states are, in fact, abstractions. All people belong to a single human race, they mate with each other and the result is healthy offspring. You are representatives of different states (abstractions), but at the beginning of this millennium, a new supranational entity was born - global cyberspace. It was created by people, from different states, but it is something greater than each of your states. I proclaim the Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace. (Noise in the hall.) I demand a separate representative for cyberspace in the United Nations. (Noise in the hall increases.) I demand recognition of the status of Bitcoin as a global decentralized protocol for the transfer of value in cyberspace!  Individual countries have no right to regulate Bitcoin because it is no longer under your jurisdiction!"

My parliament since last year has issued a law that regulates the trading and use of Bitcoin, so if I have the opportunity to meet with the parliament, maybe I will not discuss its use anymore, but I will discuss more about Bitcoin education in schools, because from the situation that I see even though Bitcoin has a legal umbrella here, its use is still limited to people and most people still see it as a ponzi scheme or fraud. By utilizing the parliament, I hope that they can launch a program to support Bitcoin education in schools and that might change the paradigm of most people about Bitcoin.

For my country it's a bit simple, as I will address the parliament pointing out their ignorance about Bitcoin and how they could get a good knowledge about bitcoin because it's their ignorance that have fuelled their apprehension whenever they hear Bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

I will let them know how interesting it can be when you invest in bitcoin pointing at the growth trajectory bitcoin has ascertained from Inception and the possibilities that are abound if they catching to the new world innovative investment.

I will also let them know that, just like every other investment there are ups and downs, however this does not cancel the fact that there will be no growth, letting them know that there are sessions attached to this investment, it could be the bear market or the bull run, however it all depends on which part of the divide you're coming from and how best you want to approach the market.

My country's parliament is obviously filled with old and uninformed men based on decisions they've taken regarding cryptocurrency and Bitcoin so far. I will constructively criticize them for accepting to be second hand recipients of information instead of them trying to get the proper information themselves.

I would try to correct the misinformation that everyone involved in cryptocurrency has an ulterior motive to commit a crime because that has been like a contention for a while now with people associating cryptocurrency with online scams.

There are a lot of things of course, because Bitcoin in the country is starting to grow and also more and more people are getting into Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is a commodity digital currency and cannot be used as a means of payment.

Maybe I will tell my government's parliament, about how they do early education about Bitcoin and what crypto will do, so that many people are educated and the growth of Bitcoin and crypto is more positive.

This is because now many projects are in the name of crypto and many people are entering, but it turns out that the project is only a fraudulent project, Ponzi and Money game.

Now there are many such fraudulent projects in my country and these continue to grow and change names but with the same mode.

What would be more interesting than pitching on Bitocin being the future of tomorrow? But they cannot comprehend how it's going to be the future if you don't give a proper explanation to them that will make them understand. In 150 words I will explain Bitcoin to the parliament and how it will address problems in society and create opportunities for advancement. Most importantly how it can make each and everyone more wealthy. If they see the benefit to them and to their family members they will accept. This means if they don't care about the public they will care about themselves.

My country's parliament is full with uneducated criminals. At least majority of them. So I don't have high hopes that those morons will understand anything about Bitcoin. But they would probably understand one point -

That the parliament members can accept bribe in Bitcoin which is anonymous in nature. So they will be able to effectively hide their identity involved in such transactions.

I am sure Bitcoin will immediately become a legal tender in my country.

Given such an opportunity I would start by telling the house that bitcoin brings better accountability and transparency in financial transactions, and with illicit transactions much easier to happen with fiat, when it comes to better controls..Bitcoin is the way to go as multi Sig wallets can be used to ensure accountability is there when sending out any money and no one person should hold the power to move money around.

As a house representing many other citizens Bitcoin deserves a stamp of approval because the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, take for instance no need of carrying huge sums of money whenever going to make big payments which means less security risk on the user, can be treated as an investment, lastly going the BTC way ensures that we are technology ready...

one major thing I would do is to tell them to allow people get free access to Bitcoin.
Those old men won't understand anything, since they're so addicted to the old fiat monetary system, However, I will tell them to try out Bitcoin on experiment by adding some Bitcoin into the country's portfolio reserves for some years with some percentage of the country's revenues and watch out if it's actually a good store of value like Gold.

If I had the opportunity to talk with them, rather than insisting to them to accept bitcoin as a reserve currency, I would focus more on educating them about bitcoin, its potentials and advantages that would definitely create a big change in the government financial system.

It’s like making a proposal and add more insights to their stock knowledge, but still the final decision would be coming from them, but at least I have given the chance to correct their wrong concepts about bitcoin so they’ll refrain from creating FUDs that would certainly affect the people’s mindset and beliefs.

Maybe if I am given the opportunity to meet our officials in our government, I will request that they make bitcoin a secondary payment in our country and include it in the major investment in all the constituents under our government.

Because we know that Bitcoin is for everyone, even simple citizens who are not rich can avail it and have savings in the future, in fact, and let foreign exchanges become legal in our country for the local crypto community that we have here too.

I would tell them to all watch Andreas and his talks to firmly make sure they understand bitcoin and not just keep talking shit about it without having any sort of real understanding if how it all works.  I think most people even still that hate on bitcoin just simply don't understand how it works and probably never will since they have such a strong biases against it.  So honestly, I'm not sure it would truly make any lick of difference.
