If you think you are doing something wrong, then that's accurate because to earn merits for post or threads created here isn't childs play. Your post or the content therein must reek of quality, be it the format of presentation or quality of words used.
Using big or bogus grammar isn't a sure way, because the highest merit earners are those who can explain in simple terms the thoughts that they think and can command good responses from other bitcoiners here.

The best way to grow here is to study how those who have earned the most merit write, and am sure that it soon becomes an easy task to create quality posts when you grab what this forum is about and cryptocurrency in general.

My advice is to find some of the top ranked members here and study their responses so as to queue into what is obtainable and please try to be more consistent and participate accordingly where necessary.

Oga all of us wey dey here been dey that stage once, even say everybody no ft be thesame but atleast many people been even suffer pass you. Some even get Rach 150 activities with like 4 merit and they keep grinding. No dey look people merit as dem dey grow  come dey see yourself like person wey no dey do well. Fear is an enemy to man don't let fear stop you, don't be afraid of criticism in this forum as a newbie because it will surely come see it as a way to learn and correction not as violence.

Sometimes newbies lack orientation on threads to post on that they might likely earn Merit I see most newbies posting on gambling thread where getting merit is highly impossible.

And for your post to earn Merit it should be meaningful  post  before I even started earning merit in the forum I have done more post you did now, so I will encourage you not to give up just be consistent in the forum and keep making helpful post merit will surely keep on coming.

You're not doing anything wrong but creating a thread doesn't guarantee merits, you might even ending up getting merits on a comment you must have posted under someone else's thread. Most times it's when you don't expect it, that's when you get a merit, don't get discouraged and just keep on making meaningful and educative threads and comments and you'll definitely get merits.

You probably may have got quality post my friend but the truth is that it depends on users who finds those posts helpful in one way or the other who has sendable merits that can rewards your posts with merits.
However, be aware that there's limited merit supplies in the forum which may not be sufficient enough to speculate all quality posts in the forum.
So I'd advice you just keep making your quality post and as much put more efforts to improve then merits would come to you. Also as much, don't focus a prior of acquiring merit at most here but to build your carrier or why you're in this Forum which is definitely a carrier on bitcoin or Cryptocurrencies.

I like as you guide the thread for this our own local board so outside no go come for you. I get my own advice for you and some of tbe mistakes when you don first do. As you come the forum, the person wey carry you come here no guide you well. I believe say him na big rank account or atleast him no dy less below full member account, him suppose guide you well tell you to the things wey you go do and things wey you no go do, you see say dem give you neutral for tag for 3 offense.

One of them na AI post and one na using another person work as your own, this forum dy forgive person for something and overlook but you see plagiarism and AI post, na wetin dem dy hardly over look. Unless na grace dy with you, dem go tag you red or even ban you join. Getting merit here isn't an easy task at all,we all know that the forum requires quality posts only,but one thing I can just tell you is that you shouldn't be more focused on getting merits, because if you channel all your energy on getting merits,you might get dissappointed at the end of the day,do it would have been best and good if you just bare in mind that you want to be a tive everyday,and remain consistent here,and by so doing,you don't even  know where merits will come from,but as long as your mind is always there,it will seem to you as if you haven't forgotten

OP, you don see as this simple post of yours don land you 5 merits at a go, na so peso d take d get merits be that. You go get one or more merits for your post just like that when you no expect am. So the thing be sae, continue giving a valuable thoughts on the posts you are replying to or making, no do pass yourself like making use of AI to make post, be consistent in the forum, no give up because of you are not getting merits because the knowledge of crypto you are to get from this forum is much more than that.

That is just the fats, proverb said that it’s better to ask what you don’t know then commit wrong in this forum. Because that’s what some of the newbie’s did when they introduced them in this wonderful forum; instead of them to right things but they will go be created a topic that is not  relate to the forum: and that’s most people are sent back to where they come from.

But i honestly like your confidence Mate, people said that everything in this life is a gradual process, it’s true that before you can worth of a merits in this you need to create a quality post before some member can merits the thread. You can never do the right thing and receive backlash from people so as long as you’re doing the right thing i don’t think you have anything to be scared about, it’s good you ask a question but my advice for you as a beginner is to not focus on receiving merits just yet rather you should focus on learning about the forum, what is being discussed here (bitcoin) and grow your knowledge before thinking about achieving your goals. From my experience so far i believe these things playa an important role towards achieving your goals here (whatever it may be).

You have a good point about your little proverb, there is nothing wrong in asking questions about what you don’t know and that is the best way to learn and avoid troubles of breaking the rules or being criticized for doing the wrong thing and this is what newbies are fond of doing so well they just act ignorantly without asking questions or even reading about how things are done here and when they are being criticized they easily feel discouraged and think people here are too harsh on them which is not really the case.
