No. It didn't crossed my mind to make spreadsheets to be on tracked with my bets. It is too much work for me to do so but I understand that it's a good way to get on track on my finances with sports betting, how much is getting in and out from my pocket or bankroll. I think that there have been some discussions already in the past on who amongst us are tracking all of their bets, losses and wins. For the full time gamblers, I understand that there's a need for them to do that because that's their bread and butter. But even so, I think that a few of them don't bother themselves in making records of their wins and losses. We are all different gamblers and we've got some goals and ways on how we're going to satisfy ourselves based on the results that we're getting. Yes, maybe some people like and like to keep records of their bets or gambling records regularly, that's something that can control them at the level of gambling, if you look at it maybe professionally, where is the record of winning bets, losses, the total money spent and received written neatly, this idea can also raise the level of self-awareness in gambling.

Yes, but laziness became the wall which is the reason I stopped continuing my spreadsheet. Work and father time can sometimes be too laborious especially when the kids are growing and starting to go to school, I think that's the time I stopped listing all my records in NBA betting.

It would be super helpful if you know some formulas, so you can customize it to fit your style. Personally, I keep mine as an offline Excel sheet.

The task is time consuming, let's admit such fact. It is good to see at the beginning and see where are you at with your betting activities. However, sustaining this activity is quite tedious as it may interfere with your other activities. I am a very busy person at work and when I get home, my kids are always all over me, which means that I will not be able to practice keeping record on spreadsheet, because I don't take my win to be a do or die affair but accept whatever the outcome of my bet is. Well yes, I do track my bets but not with spreadsheet, just more of listing the amount I lose and win every week. I'd say it is really helpful to do so because I am aware of the amount I am engaging which also helps me to avoid betting more than what I can afford to lose. On the same instance, it allows me to secure profit for being aware of the numbers as well. Looking back when I wasn't still doing this, I end up shocked when I checked my gambling site account; because I wasn't aware that I'm already continuously losing. Many people keep record of their incomes and expenses but why getting to having it for gambling. I always bet every week but I never thought about this to see how good I am at betting because I seem to ignore things like this because all I do is bet and see the results of winning or losing but I never thought about making some things that show my statistics in betting whether it is something good or still very lacking.

And even then, does it shows correct data? Look at Overall All_time data. $123+$7+$38-$52 = $116, but table shows $123. Already confusing. What can I say by look on this table? Place more bets on NBA, as a persons seems to be more lucky with choosing results. But that does not help me to find a bet with lower risk of loosing.

To me using spreadsheet is when a gambler is constantly incurring lose though it's good to check the overall performance of oneself to know if they are on higher lose, medium or low. If this practice is put in place you would adjust and I think my other post also partially relates to this but not entirely this topic. As Gambler it's important to always have a budget to gambling be it weekly monthly we should always know that it's important to have budget and track our performances to know the condition we are if is that safe for us or not.
